Position Overview

SAVI EHS is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support a trade partner performing server rack installation on a data center construction project in Morristown, Pennsylvania.

This position will work closely with the trade partner’s leadership team and site safety management to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on field safety professional with experience supporting construction or mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily EHS compliance activities on a live data center construction site
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections, audits, and safety observations
• Review and support Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and help implement corrective actions
• Deliver site safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, site safety rules, and client requirements
• Work closely with project leadership and craft personnel to maintain a safe and productive work environment
• Monitor safety documentation, training records, and compliance reports
• Support safe work practices during rack installation activities, material handling, and equipment use

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification (Required)
• Strong understanding of OSHA 1926 Construction Standards
• Experience conducting jobsite inspections and safety documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively with field teams and subcontractors
• Local to the Morristown, PA area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects
• Familiarity with safety platforms such as Procore, iAuditor, or similar tools
• Background working with MEWPs, material handling, and electrical installation activities

Position Overview:

• Support the Quality Manager to comply with federal (OSHA) and state safety rules and maintain safety and occupational health related reporting.
• Support and collaboration with consultations on health and safety at work, participate in the regular safety meetings
• Collaborate with Quality to create and update all the necessary documentation for compliance with Safety and Environment obligations
• Help maintain relations with the authorities responsible for safety and the environment
• Collaborate with Quality to resolve environmental and safety requirements and non-conformities, collect and process data related to environmental monitoring (discharges, waste, emissions, energy consumption, etc.)
• Execute safety initiatives and programs that ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment
• Monitor safety performance data, identify trends, and lead structured problem-solving efforts to resolve recurring safety issues
• Support the management of records for multiple databases and ISO systems.

• Support the Quality Manager in the development of training for managers, technical staff and operators
• Help conduct required training for managers, technical staff and operators
• Promote employee engagement in safety through coaching, positive reinforcement, and behavior-based safety programs
• Evaluate and enhance current safety training programs through ongoing review and recommended improvements
• Partner with plant employees, supervisors, and leadership to promote a culture of safety and safe work practices

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in any field related to EH&S, such as Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Science or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3+ years of experience leading EHS efforts in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong critical thinking, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Foundational knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) standards, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and/or State environmental regulations and regulatory program areas.

Pay:

What You'll Do:

The Role: Responsible for assisting guests, maintaining public safety, controlling access to restricted areas, and preventing unauthorized items from entering the venue.

Job Functions:

• Assist Security Manager to recruit, interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline department staff for efficient control of the department.
• Supervise and direct security staff to implement the security plan to ensure safety, care, customer service, and efficiency.

The expected compensation for this position is: $24.00 USD - $30.00 USD Hourly

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.

Main Purpose:

US site security officers assigned to site uniform patrol or static posts are responsible for proactive safe guarding of site properties and for the proper handling of calls for security services. Security Officers may serve as liaison with police or other law enforcement agencies on mutual problems, respond to fire alarms and assist in the evacuation of employees in emergency situations. Security officers will prepare clear and accurate computer generated reports of incidents and other activities and ensure protection of employees, physical assets, intellectual properties and information assets.

Key Working Relations (Internal/External):

1. Internal Employees, contractors, visitors, and guests across all business units

2. External local law enforcement, emergency services personnel, utility personnel, and security support vendors

3. Collaborate with and train site employees and security personnel while recommending security implementation upgrades and policies

4. Develop reporting mechanisms while strategically collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure security policies/procedures are implemented and incidents are reported appropriately and timely to Corporate Security Management

7. Participate or lead programs, trainings, workshops, security know how campaigns and the implementation of directives that enhance the personal security of employees within their workplace

Key Tasks:

1. Performing mobile patrol of site within geography of responsibility on roadways and parking lots

2. Protecting sites from trespassers or illegal entry

3. Protecting against damage or theft of company property

4. Investigating and respond to calls for service

5. Providing emergency services and rescue, CPR and first aid during sudden illnesses or injury

6. Responding to intrusion and equipment alarms

7. Conduct initial investigations of accidents, or crimes against company property or employees

8. Fostering an environment of trust and confidence through exemplary integrity and professionalism

9. Preparing appropriate report documentation

10. Ability to think independently, react to changing conditions and be able to make sound decisions based upon existing circumstances

11. In the event of an emergency, maintaining order and the safety of employees and visitors

Qualification & Competencies:

1. Bachelor's degree is preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required

2. Law enforcement, military and/or corporate security experience is required

3. The ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

5. The ability to prepare clear, succinct, accurate, professional and timely written communications

6. The ability to maintain all certifications and training as required by jurisdiction of authority and possess a valid driver's license

7. The ability to obtain and maintain the State of Hawaii "Guard Card" according to the State of Hawaii HRS 463 10.5

8. Experienced in basic computer skills

9. Able to work rotating shifts and available for overtime and weekend shifts

10. The ability to work in excess of the normal eight hour day when necessary
