About the Role:
Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery (CAPS) is proud to be the premier MedSpa in Central Ohio, with four locations! We are seeking an experienced Hair Restoration & Laser Specialist with a NP license to help patients regain confidence by achieving their goals through cosmetic procedures such as Coolsculpt, Emsculpt, Laser Hair Removal, and hair restoration treatments. This is a fully onsite role, primarily based at our Upper Arlington location with varying support at our Gahanna location.
As a Hair Restoration & Laser Specialist, you will support our patients by providing elective care for cosmetic laser procedures and consulting, assessing, diagnosing, and treating hair loss in males and females by performing in office treatments such as PRP treatments, assisting in hair transplant coordination, and advising on take-home therapies and providing exceptional patient care in an environment that fosters trust, welcomes innovation, and provides the best possible patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care as a representative of CAPS, treating each patient in a style and manner developed by the supervising physician and practice that is consistent with authorized practices as defined by state law.
- Escort patients to treatment room, obtain medical and health history, obtain photographs.
- Reviews charts, treatment plans and case notes and verifies that these documents meet quality standards.
- Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Providing consultations for male and female hair loss patients.
- Completing assessments and diagnosing hair loss.
- Performing PRP treatments.
- Providing medical management and advising on in-person and take-home therapies.
- Learning and arranging hair restoration surgeries alongside the Hair Team.
- Performs cosmetic procedures that can be treated with Coolsculpt, Emsculpt, and Laser Hair Removal, along with other modalities.
- Responsible for coordination of treatment plan, follow up and rebooking of their patients.
- Completes all patient charting ? history, exam, and treatments plans ? accurately and timely.
- Oversee any patient care concerns that may arise.
- Work with Ancillary Clinical Director and COO on clinical needs of department.
- Work with vendors for continued training and development and product knowledge.
- Participates in events and marketing objectives as needed.
- Notifies inventory of any supply needs or request.
- Attends team meetings as needed to discuss goals and objectives of department.
- Helps establish goals and objectives for growth of department and works with team to implement goals.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Experience in hair restoration or dermatology preferred but not required.
- Experience with a variety of lasers.
- Current NP license.
- Proven experience providing high quality of care to patients in an environment that fosters trust and builds relationships with open communication and empathy with staff and patients.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including experience with electronic health records.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Derm experience helpful.
- 1 year laser Sciton preferred.

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to serve as a Cable/Ribbon Assembly Equipment Capability Engineer supporting high volume cable manufacturing operations. This role is highly technical and focused on equipment capability, mechanical performance, and process robustness for cable assembly lines. The engineer will be responsible for driving equipment performance improvements, ensuring process capability, and supporting new equipment introduction and line expansions.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Capability & Performance
* Own mechanical capability of cable/ribbon assembly equipment
* Establish and maintain equipment capability metrics (OEE, Cp/Cpk, uptime, scrap, yield)
* Lead mechanical capability studies, line balancing, and throughput optimization efforts
* Identify mechanical constraints impacting line speed, tension stability, concentricity, and dimensional control Mechanical Engineering & Design
* Design, modify, and optimize tooling, fixturing, guides, rollers, payoff systems, and tension control mechanisms
* Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for equipment upgrades and custom tooling
* Perform engineering calculations related to tension, torque, inertia, thermal effects, and material deformation
* Support equipment retrofits and modernization projects
Manufacturing Support & Troubleshooting
* Provide hands on technical support during production, trials, and equipment start ups
* Perform structured root cause analysis (mechanical, process, interface issues) and implement corrective actions

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* 3-6 years of experience in cable manufacturing or cable assembly equipment engineering
* Strong hands on experience with ribboning, stranding, extrusion, shielding, jacketing, or armoring equipment
* Deep understanding of mechanical systems in continuous manufacturing environments
* Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent)
* Proficiency in data Analysis - JMP, Excel, Minitab
* Experience performing equipment capability analysis and production line optimization
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with ribbon cable manufacturing
* Knowledge of tension control systems, dancer mechanisms, capstans, and servo driven equipment

Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband
- Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks
- Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.
Qualifications
You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records;OR
Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.
You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following:
Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to:
- Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.
- Deal effectively with people in a courteous and tactful manner in connection with law enforcement matters.
- Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after the completion of required training and apply these skills in a law enforcement capacity such as criminal code enforcement, determining violations of laws, correctional or rehabilitation work involving criminal offenders, security, military, etc.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.
Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership. Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR
A Combination of Experience and Education: This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. Formal Training: After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English. Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient with the Spanish language at the Academy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:ย
Operates C.T. equipment to make radiographic scans of designated portions ofย body. Adjusts equipment andย patientย to correct positions for each examination. Instructs and explains procedures to patients. Selects proper technical factors, on an individual patient basis.ย
Performs reconstruction and special processing of data. Evaluates completed radiographs/scans for positioning,ย techniqueย and adequacy of examination.ย
Closelyย observesย patients, performs first aid, as necessary, confers with physician when requested exams appear at odds with the patientโs condition,ย and generally,ย maintainsย an acute awareness of any patient under his/her control.ย
Performs a variety of clerical tasks to include; pulling jackets, inputting/editing exams, and completion of requisition prior toย settingย films to be read.ย
Records andย maintainsย data on magneticย disc, tape, PACS, and logs. Responsible for correct identification of film, including side and radiological factors.ย
Demonstrates Customer Service/Service Plus principles and behaviors appropriately.ย
Arranges,ย attachesย or adjusts immobilization and supportive devices to obtain precise position, prevent motion and aid in patient comfort.ย
Keeps currentย regardingย developments in trends and techniques of diagnostic Cat Scan by reading technical journals,ย participatingย in in-service education programs, attending conferences, etc.ย

Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
- Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
- Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
- Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.
- Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity for the purposes of gaining information from suspected violators of laws to determine the appropriate course of action.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Ability to make rapid, accurate judgments and decisions with respect to the application of the regulations, instructions, and procedures for importing and exporting merchandise to and from the United States; or enforcement and administration of laws relating to the right of persons to enter, reside in or depart from the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree, or two or more years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of specialized experience AND successfully completed graduate-level education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.

Formal Training: You will be required to complete a paid pre-academy orientation for approximately two (2) weeks at your home port. You will then attend a 101-day training program โ CBP Field Operations Academy โ conducted at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located in Glynco, GA. This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the direction of the Chief Radiology Technologist, Director of Medical Imaging, and Staff Radiologists, the CT Technologist Non- Registered is responsible to safely and proficiently perform computerized tomography imaging procedures and related patient care according to, government regulations, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Medical Imaging Department, and policies and procedures of the hospital.
What you will do in this role:
- Check medical record on all inpatients and paperwork on all emergency room patients and outpatients to verify that the correct exam has been ordered. Verifies with the patient their impression of procedure ordered.
- Checks armband of all inpatients and emergency room patients and verbally questions ALL patients to insure the presence of the correct patient before starting any procedures.
- Consistently verifies presence of and/or obtains informed consent on all patients who will receive contrast media injections. Complete form and all required documentation of procedure. Obtainsย
- Radiologistโs verbal approval and/or signature prior to procedure if any contra-indicators are present.
- Properly assembles exam films, requisitions, and film file jacket before submission to radiologist for interpretation. Has appropriate information and/or films in hand before consulting a radiologist.
- Arrives to work on time daily and immediately begins job responsibilities without waiting for instructions or for others to arrive.
- Answers department phones promptly and consistently express a polite and helpful attitude on the phone.
- Can verbalize correct emergency code activation procedures and the action required to respond to emergencies.
- Uses cautious judgment and tact when answering questions regarding diagnosis, physician orders, or patient care to prevent compromising patient privacy, confidentiality, medical/legal information, or the physician-patient relationship.
- Reports all patient and employee injuries to supervisor immediately. Takes personal action to prevent falls by physically assisting the patient and by removing hazards. Personally, clean up minor spills to prevent falls.
- Shows responsible use of department supplies. Does not waste supplies or open supplies before they are needed. Returns unused supplies to their proper storage location. Notifies supervisor of limited supplies stocks before they are depleted.
- Personally, I act to keep work areas neat and clean. Returns equipment to proper storage location. Keeps food and drink out of imaging rooms. Cleans up after self and returns personal cafeteria trays.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
