Salary for this role will be tailored to the successful individual's location and experience. The expected compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year plus discretionary annual bonus.

The Softball Umpire: officiate adult slow-pitch softball games by enforcing rules, making calls on plays, and ensuring fair competition. They manage the game flow, call balls and strikes, determine safe or out calls, and handle any disputes professionally. Umpires must have a solid understanding of softball rules, good judgment, and strong communication skills. Umpire certification from USA, ASA, USSSA, WBSC, or OSAA preferred. The Sports Official officiates various sports leagues within the Parks and Recreation department. Officiates games according to sport's governing bodies and Parks and Recreation league rules and regulations. Makes fair and unbiased decisions on plays and game rules.
Ensures that all players adhere to league rules and regulations. Addresses any violations promptly and impartially.
Maintains control of the game, managing player conduct and any potential conflicts that may arise.
Clearly communicates calls and decisions to players, managers, and spectators.
Addresses questions or concerns from participants in a professional manner.
Monitors field/gym conditions and weather to determine if games should proceed or be postponed.
Enforces safety protocols and regulations to minimize the risk of injury including equipment and field/gym checks to ensure safe play.
Coordinates with Scorekeepers to manage game logistics including keeping track of time and any special circumstances.
Stays current on league rules and any changes or updates. Communicates regularly with the Recreation Coordinator.
Acts ethically and honestly; applies ethical standards of behavior to daily work activities and interactions. Builds confidence in the City through own actions.

Overview: MLA is seeking an Interim Senior Counsel to support a regulated derivatives clearing organization (DCO) within a publicly traded global financial market infrastructure company. This role will focus on advising on clearinghouse legal and regulatory matters, including CFTC compliance, rule drafting and filings, governance, and regulatory engagement. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in derivatives and clearing regulation, strong drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex regulatory, transactional, and advisory workstreams in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment while partnering closely with business, compliance, and operations teams.

Responsibilities Include:
- Draft derivatives clearing house organization’s rules and rule filings to the CFTC to explain the purpose and basis of those rules
- Draft and review company user documentation, notices, website materials, policies and procedures, and other documents and materials relating to the operation and services
- Draft required company’s submissions and reports to the CFTC and other regulatory agencies.
- Provide guidance regarding company rules and applicable law and regulation relating to the functions of the clearing house
- Monitor for changes in legal and compliance requirements applicable to clearing house
- Provide legal guidance relating to regulatory requests, exams, inspections, and/or similar matters involving clearing house
- Draft comment letters and regulatory proposals to the CFTC and other regulatory agencies, including regarding proposed regulations and proposed self-regulatory organization (SRO) rules
- Conduct legal research related to the federal laws and regulations relating to clearing, futures, securities, and swaps and the rules of other SROs and provide analysis and recommendations based on that research
- Manage legal matters and provide legal support related to company’s futures business functions and/or other product asset classes
- Assist with various legal projects across the Legal Division and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain high standards of legal and regulatory compliance and promote a culture of compliance, by among other things, helping ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements of operating a registered clearinghouse.
Qualifications Include:
- J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed to practice in US
- 6+ years of experience working in the following legal areas: clearing, futures, securities, and/or derivatives laws and regulations
- Experience in drafting rule filings as well as a working knowledge of the futures, securities, and/or derivatives markets and of the broader financial markets
- Ability to develop strategic solutions to legal problems and communicate to business effectively.

The Merchandise Assistant, Kitchen & Travel is a highly organized and motivated individual who supports the Buyer and Assistant Buyers in the execution of the merchandising strategy for both branded and private label assortments. Essential Job Functions
• Assist Buyer and Assistant Buyers in monitoring business performance through sales reporting, inventory analysis, and vendor performance tracking.
