INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

During the Summer 2026 Buying/Merchandising internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience as a member of our Buying team within the Furniture/Wood category. Reporting to a Buying Leader, you’ll be directly involved in the buying process – driving business strategies, working on seasonal line plans, conducting competitor and sales analyses, and assisting with product launches and store communication. Position Summary

CTE is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support projects related to zero-emission transportation, industry collaboration, and workforce development. This internship is part of CTE’s structured summer internship program designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the clean transportation sector while developing professional skills and industry knowledge.


The intern will work closely with CTE staff in Berkeley and across the organization to support a range of initiatives, including project research, administrative coordination, and internal process improvement. The position provides exposure to multiple aspects of nonprofit project implementation—including grant administration, financial analysis, industry and technical research, stakeholder engagement, and training program administration.

The College of Environmental Design (CED) at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers or lecturers in lieu of GSIs to teach studio and non-studio courses for the CED Summer Programs in the following areas: architecture, city planning, urban design, landscape architecture and digital media. Should an opening arise, screening of applicants will primarily take place in the early spring semester for a summer appointment, and will continue as needed into the summer. The number of positions varies, depending upon the needs of the CED Summer Programs.



General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and using Cal's electronic resources for course management. New lecturers will also be expected to participate in a teaching workshop.

The Cook II participates in the preparation, production & service of menu items according to the direction of their Manager.
