Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a driven Project Manager to take ownership of a full-cycle construction project from early planning through final closeout. This role is hands-on and field-focused, requiring someone who can confidently lead operations while navigating complex public-sector requirements.

• Oversee daily construction activities from pre-construction through project completion, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and on-site execution
• Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and multiple public agencies to keep the project moving efficiently
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable building codes, permitting requirements, and environmental regulations
• Manage procurement processes, submittals, RFIs, and documentation to maintain project flow and accountability
• Maintain and update project schedules using industry-standard tools, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
• Track budgets, review and approve change orders, and provide accurate progress reporting to stakeholders
• Lead job site safety efforts, enforce compliance standards, and promote a culture of accountability
• Coordinate quality control and ensure all deliverables meet established project and regulatory standards

Requirements:

We’re looking for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and understands the demands of public-sector projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
• 7–10 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong focus on vertical builds
• At least 3 years of experience managing public works projects
• Proven experience working with government agencies and navigating multi-agency coordination
• Strong understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and environmental compliance standards
• Proficiency with project management and construction software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or Bluebeam
• OSHA 30-Hour certification required
• PMP or CCM certification is a plus
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to solve problems in the field, manage competing priorities, and keep teams aligned
