JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY


Summary of role of team:


  • "Family Empowerment Initiative" or "FEI" provides support to low-income families, children ages birth (0) to eighteen (18), and their caregivers.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, intensive services, crisis services, self-sufficiency through trauma informed services, case coordination, peer support, parent/caregiver education, and family engagement strategies.

Summary of position:


  • The Care Coordinator provides trauma-informed, family-centered services to children and youth experiencing a mental health crisis, including those referred from mobile crisis units, crisis stabilization units, walk-in centers, emergency departments, psychiatric hospitals, and other acute care settings.
  • The Care Coordinator provides linkage to community resources, clinical services, and natural supports related to the child/youth.
  • Engagement in both person, and collateral contacts required. Staff will be an active participant in FTM to create the Individualized Services Plan (ISP).

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITION/ENVIRNMENT


  • This position spends the majority of their time working at Knox Children & Youth (C&Y) Center, and seeing individuals in their homes and community.
  • With program development, attendance to community and Center running meetings is required.
  • In person attendance is preferred.

1. Direct Care


Initial Contact:


  • Make initial contact with the referred family within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the referral.

Initial Visit:


  • Provide initial intake in partnership with the Peer Support Specialist visit within 72 hours of referral.

First Month of Services:


  • Conduct a minimum of one face-to-face, in-home visit or one telephonic or video contact with the family each week during the first month of services.

Second and Third Months of Services:


  • Conduct a minimum of one face-to-face, in-home visit or one (1) telephonic or video contact with the family each week during months two and three.
  • Ensure that at least one of these weekly contacts is a face-to-face, in-person visit every other week during months two and three. One face-to-face, in person meeting can be the monthly FTM.
  • Complete an Eligibility Assessment and Assessment Plan for each eligible Low-income family within ten business days of initial contact.

2. Quality Care


  • Responsible for ensuring all phases and activities of the Wraparound Process are done to the high quality and fidelity - accountable to family team.
  • Provide outreach and engagement to families upon referral to the program by conducting initial phone contact and the intake process with the assistance of the Peer Support Specialist (PSS).
  • Complete an assessment of the family including Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment, Caregiver Strain Assessment, and other national evaluation tools to develop a care plan.
  • In partnership with the PSS, provide face-to-face direct service hours to families including support, referrals and assistance with the development of positive parenting, safety planning, basic life skills and parenting a child/youth with special needs.
  • In collaboration with the PSS, assist families in developing a list of individuals they want to attend the Family Team Meetings.
  • Ensure that the wraparound process is family driven and that families experience ongoing participation in and ownership of their care plans.
  • Provide liaison functions for the team members and service providers.
  • In collaboration with the PSS, creation of the family team and scheduling of case conferences/family team meetings in collaboration with PSS and family members.
  • As a result of the family team process, develop, and coordinate Individual Service Plan (ISP) with the family and PSS.
  • Linkage to community resource, clinical services, and natural supports related to the child/youth.
  • Be available for crisis calls; collaborate to provide support during the crisis and following the crisis.
  • Ensure that crisis safety plan and assessment are completed, in collaboration with all service providers.
  • Skill building with child/youth as appropriate.
  • Maintain and build community relations, through education and advocacy and participating in external meetings such as the Community Advisory Board (CAB), Council on Children's Mental Health (CCMH) meeting and other meetings related to children/youth and families.
  • Collaborate with program supervisor to train staff, provide field case consultation and support to new staff.
  • Encourage youth and family voice and choice.
  • Be knowledgeable and sensitive to the culture of the youth and family and effectively convey that to team members.

3. Complete all documentation in compliance with CARF, insurance and funding standards.


  • Maintain up-to-date case records on each client, family, including weekly contact reports, service agreements, evaluations, and termination summaries.
  • Completes and signs EMR progress notes within two business days of encounter.
  • Ensures that all clients have an up to date ROI, care plan, crisis plan, consent to contact after discharge, DLA-20, and updated signature admissions page every 6 months, and as needed.
  • Creates and coordinates treatment interventions that are reflected in progress note documentation based on the ISP goals.
  • Provides completed Daily Contact Logs to supervisor by date assigned.
  • Attends supervision with program supervisor.

COMPENSATION:


  • Starting salary for this position is approximately $19.34 /hr based on relevant experience and education.

Schedule:


  • Primary working hours are Monday through Friday, and should be provided at times that meet the needs to the families served.
  • On site supervision is preferred, and position must be available via phone if a function of the position requires being out of office.

Travel:


Equipment/Technical Competency:


  • Position requires working knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, and any other platforms required by funders.
  • Position requires regular use of a computer, and appropriate phone etiquette.
  • Position is required to respond to all voicemails, emails and messages within 24 hours.

Equipment/Technology:


  • Position requires a cell phone, in the event staff need to contact the position when not in the office.
  • Cell phone may be provided by the Center or reimbursement for these expenses is considered.

QUALIFICATIONS - FEI Care Coordinator


Experience / Knowledge:


  • Must possess a minimum of B.A or B.S. degree in social work, psychology, or related field with a preferred minimum of two (2) years clinical intervention experience in serving youth with SED or emerging adults with mental health conditions.
  • Ability to create effective relationships with individuals of different cultural beliefs and lifestyles.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to develop and deliver case presentations.

  • This position requires utilizing a personal, dependable vehicle to conduct Center business.
  • Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
  • This position also requires that the employee have an F Endorsement on his/her Driver License to be available to transport individuals as needed.
  • Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding another person, running, and walking.

The PACT RN Case Manager JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY Summary of role of team : The Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is an evidence-based treatment modality designed specifically to serve those with severe and persistent mental illness.

Clients served by PACT are typically diagnosed with a thought disorder, have a history of psychiatric hospitalization, and are unable to engage with more traditional forms of outpatient care.

The goals of PACT are to assist individuals in the reduction of mental health symptoms, to function successfully in the community, to live as independently as possible and to reduce hospitalizations and/or incarcerations.

Goals are tailored to each individual's needs and may be adjusted quickly to respond to changes.

PACT interventions include ongoing assessment, case management, medication management, advocacy, group therapy and goal-oriented individual therapy services.

Crisis support is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Summary of position : The PACT RN Case Manager serves as a clinical member of a multi-disciplinary team by providing treatment and case management support to clients; Duties include: Referral, linkage, and advocacy services to promote access to resources; Side by side support in the community and during appointments to promote engagement and accurate understanding of information; Ongoing assessment of client functioning to relay information to other members of the clinical team; Crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.

Serves as a specialist for medical concerns and medication issues while administering and delivering medications to clients in both the office and community; Embraces the key values of case management: empowerment, normalization, rehabilitation, and continuity of care TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT PACT is an outpatient program, and the majority of duties are performed in the community and client homes.

Services are limited to those that reside in the Knox County catchment area.

Completes all documents including, but not limited to, 6-month treatment plans, 3-month treatment plans, assessments, and crisis plans on or before stated deadlines.

Demonstrates connection between treatment goals and documented services.

Provides primary case management for an assigned group of clients including ongoing assessment, direct clinical treatment, rehabilitation and support services, and medication delivery.

Provides case management for all program participants as needed and directed by supervisory staff.

Delivers medications daily, twice per week, and weekly to identified clients according to established protocol.

Administers injections to clients as directed by the PACT Prescriber and PACT Lead RN.

Educates all clients as needed regarding medications, symptoms, coping strategies, personal growth and development, etc.

Provides side-by-side support as needed to promote client independence.

Acts as a liaison between clients and community agencies, resources, families, and natural supports to facilitate treatment.

Adheres to defined productivity standards regarding client contact.

Clients on assigned caseload shall be met with a minimum of twice per week, unless this is deemed clinically inappropriate by supervisory staff.

Achieves a minimum of 150 contacts per month.

Failed attempts to engage clients for contact shall be documented.

Compensation: Starting salary for this position is approximately $32.76/hr based on relevant experience and education.

Schedule: Schedule is variable and includes a mix of 8am
- 5pm and 11am
- 8pm shifts.

Shifts include a rotation of both weekends and holidays.

Staff provide on call coverage that may include overnight contact with clients.

This position includes some flexibility to allow for coverage during staffing shortages.

Travel : Mostly limited to Knox County with the rare potential for travel to surrounding counties.

This position does require the transportation of clients in a personal vehicle.

Equipment/Technology: This position requires the use of basic technology including a cell phone and computer.

Must have licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Tennessee.

Clinical experience preferred.

The RN Supervisor JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY Summary of position/ role of team : The Nurse Supervisor will provide administrative and clinical oversight of all assigned nursing staff throughout the Center's crisis and residential programming.

Responsible for the supervision, training, and oversite of all assigned crisis and residential nursing staff across the Center.

Oversees scheduling and program needs in the designated crisis and residential programming.

Supervise and manage members of nursing crisis and residential programs.

Oversees the recruitment and onboarding of nursing staff.

Oversees training expectations for nursing staff.

Provides supervision for assigned Nurse Managers.

Oversees nursing coverage, scheduling, and on-call systems.

Document administered medications in the EMAR.

Document clinical services provided in the medical record on same day as service provided clearly and concisely.

Completion of required HRMC training to maintain status as credentialed provider.

Maintain an active RN license in the state of Tennessee in accordance with the state guidelines Complete any Center Required Self-Directed Learning or Training Modules in the required time frames.

Complete First Aid, CPR, and HWC trainings within the required time frames.

Schedule: The Nurse Supervisor is expected to fulfill the agreed upon hours when hired.

Unless otherwise approved, the Nurse Supervisor is expected to be present on-site from 8am-5pm and is expected to complete 8 hours of clinical work per week which may include nights, weekends, and holidays pending coverage needs.

Must be flexible with scheduling as the Nurse Supervisor will rotate being on call and is expected to cover open shifts on a PRN basis.

All other scheduling arrangements are approved on a case-by-case basis.

Travel : Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver's License.

This position requires utilizing a personal vehicle to conduct Center business.

Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.

The Nurse Supervisor may have to travel between clinics/programs at times, and may be required to travel for any supervision or scheduled meetings.

There is no overnight travel and clients will not be transported.

Equipment/Technical Competency : Basic computer skills required (EMR, Excel, Word, etc.).

Must be familiar with EMRs and telehealth services as telehealth services may be offered as part of the service delivery.

Equipment/Technology: The Nurse Supervisor will receive a center issued cellphone and laptop.

The Nurse Supervisor will need access to e-mail, Athena Health (EMR), Drs.

First, access to I & U Drives, and VPN (remote) access.

The Nurse Supervisor will also need to be issued a P-card.

QUALIFICATIONS
- RN Supervisor Experience / Knowledge: 5-7 years of psychiatric nursing post-graduation is required.

Prior inpatient psychiatric hospital experience is preferred.

Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Should possess sound knowledge of state regulations and best practice guidelines, psychiatric medications, mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities and interventions.

Must have the ability to present professionally, work within a team format, exercise sound clinical judgment under pressure, communicate effectively (both orally and written), possess good time management and organizational skills.

Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination preferred.

Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality and patient centered practice approach required.

Education / License : Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Master's degree in nursing administration or leadership is preferred.

Must be actively licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee.

American Nursing Association certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse preferred.

About the Role

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead strategic Industrial Construction and Facilities Engineering sourcing projects for new and existing sites across Ross' supply chain network. Their primary goals will be to help Ross mitigate risks, procure materials, equipment and services at the best value and be a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Sourcing and Sourcing Process Execution
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Industrial Construction categories (e.g., steel structures, concrete, MEP systems, site services, etc.) and Facilities Maintenance categories (e.g., conveyor systems, fork trucks, racking, etc.). Analyze historical data to determine the highest risk and cost categories.
  • Partner with Property Development, Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Risk Management and Finance teams to understand project needs. Manage expectations and set achievable milestones to arrive at the agreed upon goal.
  • Develop and manage sourcing project timelines and lead socialization meetings. Update stakeholders regularly on project progress, risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers and contractors. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance. Develop and monitor supplier KPIs, coordinate regular QBRs and Top to Top meetings.
  • Support the budgeting process and develop bottoms-up (quantity based) estimates.
  • Develop RFPs and vendor response comparison tools (quantitative and qualitative). Work with Property Development, Engineering, Loss Prevention, IT and Legal stakeholders to understand requirements to be included in the RFP packages.
  • Manage competitive events or sourcing process end to end with minimal supervision. This would include market research, RFP development, internal and external communication management, stakeholder alignment, etc.
  • Conduct detailed market and vendor research to communicate findings through research summaries. Evaluate vendor core competencies and competitive positioning using open-source data and industry benchmarks.
  • Proactively identify alternate sourcing opportunities across multiple Construction and Facilities Engineering material, equipment, parts and service categories. Analyze market trends and cost drivers to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives through value engineering, competitive bidding, and strategic negotiations.
  • Create presentations to communicate findings and vendor recommendations to stakeholders, to help with decision making.
  • Serve as an escalation channel for internal stakeholders, to improve vendor service levels. Maximize Ross' position of leverage in any negotiation scenario.
  • Support the Facilities Engineering team with sourcing requirements for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) repair, refurbishment and replacement.


Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Business, Economics, Finance or Engineering (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years category management / strategic sourcing experience in Industrial Construction and Facilities Engineering. Multiple Construction and Engineering sourcing category experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of program or project management experience in a cross functional environment (technical and non-technical teams).
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance - budgeting, cash flow, P/L statements, balance sheets.
  • Strong experience with construction cost estimating and budgeting as well as working with raw material / market indices and determining fair purchase prices.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with Construction Management Software such as Procore, as well as Sourcing / Contract Management Software such as Coupa.
  • Familiarity with LEED, OSHA, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Certifications preferred - CCPS, CCM, CPSM.
  • Consulting experience strongly preferred; experience in retail is a plus.
  • Proficiency with contract writing and management strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of DC Operations (e.g. Receiving, Sorting, VAS, Pick/Pack, Shipping).
  • Strong Excel (Pivots, VLookups, Data Tables) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in working with raw material / market indices and determining fair purchase prices.
  • Must have a data driven approach to solving problems.
  • Must be inquisitive to learn the business and "ways of working" before recommending improvements.
  • Requires very strong quantitative skills and experience structuring ambiguous problems.
  • Must have very close attention to detail and the drive to achieve accurate results with minimal supervision. Must evaluate all vendor material and contracts with a critical eye to identify risks to Ross.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work independently and keep a high level of focus.
  • Must be able to listen, understand, and communicate with employees at all levels of the company. Requires strong written and verbal business communication skills.
  • Needs to be able to build effective working relationships within Ross and drive continuous improvement.

Pay range and compensation package

The base salary range for this role is $108,800 - $165,950. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

Job Description

The Training Specialist supports Institutional Support Services (ISS) by designing, delivering, and maintaining effective training programs that enable colleagues to perform their roles efficiently, accurately, and in compliance. This position will deliver initial and ongoing training to ISS Colleagues. This role partners closely with ISS leaders and functional SMEs to support onboarding, role‑based training, process changes, and continuous skill development across ISS teams. Primary duties include implementation, delivery, and auditing training programs, as well as working with stakeholders to build, enhance and maintain training plans for their respective teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver onboarding and role‑specific training for new hires and internal transfers within ISS.
  • Evaluate and leverage emerging technologies and innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and quality of training and learner experience.
  • Develop and implement a unified training framework across ISS, ensuring consistent quality, oversight, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with ISS leaders, business partners and functional teams to identify training needs and gaps.
  • Design, develop and deliver training material in multiple formats including CBT, Webinars and instructor led materials across teams.
  • Analyze and interpret user requirements, technical specification and application features and functions and translate into appropriate training formats.
  • Assist Managers with the implementation of new training programs, processes and procedures.
  • Support change initiatives by developing training plans and communications tied to new processes or tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement of ISS training programs by evaluating effectiveness, partnering with managers and senior leaders, and incorporating feedback from learners and leaders to enhance training quality and impact.
  • Regularly review and update training content to reflect process changes and system updates.
  • Develop and send student communication campaigns as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering training programs required.
  • 3 years of experience supporting shared services, financial account management, student finance operations and/or registrar operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Title IV Policies and Procedures is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual learning tools.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and tailor learning for diverse audiences
  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training in a professional or operational environment.
  • Delivers practical, high‑quality training solutions that meet the needs of internal customers.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $50,000.00 - $80,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
