The Travis County Attorney's Office provides legal representation to Central Health under Texas Health & Safety Code Section 281.056 (b-1).
The Position
The Chief Legal Officer (Assistant County Attorney) reports to the Executive County Attorney but works onsite with Central Health's executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee legal strategy for Central Health.
- Advise CEO, Board of Managers, and executive leadership on governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
- Manage legal documentation, contracts, and external counsel relationships.
- Lead and mentor legal team members.
- Ensure adherence to governance regulations and fiduciary responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Education: J.D./L.L.B. from accredited law school.
- Experience: 15 years as a licensed attorney, including 5 years in senior management.
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
- Skills: Expertise in healthcare law, corporate law, compliance, litigation, and strong leadership and communication skills.

The Opportunity
AMN Healthcare has partnered with Bassett Healthcare Network (BHN) for a search for a new Chief Financial Officer. The SVP/CFO will provide vision, leadership, planning, consultation, and stewardship to BHN with responsibility for the continuous development and implementation of strategies to increase financial and operational efficiencies with no compromise to quality of care while producing profitable operations.
The Organization
The hub of BHN is Bassett Medical Center which, in addition to traditional hospital-based care such as a birthing center and inpatient medical and surgical care, also offers sophisticated outpatient diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Bassett Medical Center is an affiliate of Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons.
The Bassett Medical Group is comprised of a full-time, salaried staff numbering more than 400 physicians and other advanced practice clinicians who provide primary and specialty care at the Bassett Clinic and staff BMC. In the region, the Bassett Medical Group also staffs over two dozen community-based primary care center throughout eight counties.
In addition to Bassett Medical Center, BHN has four area community hospitals: Cobleskill Regional Hospital, O'Connor Hospital in Delhi, Little Falls Hospital, and A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta provide acute inpatient care and 24-7 emergency care.
The Position
The SVP/CFO reports to the President and CEO of BHN and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. The individual selected will partner with the President and CEO in evaluating strategic decisions and providing advice and counsel, based on experience and sound financial analysis.
The SVP/CFO is responsible for the development, interpretation, coordination and administration of the organization's policies and practices related to financial operations; accounting; treasury management; revenue cycle; payer contracting; budgeting; payroll, practitioners compensation programs; financial and capital planning, cash flow management; supply chain; financing and bank relations; and the lead executive for the Optum partnership and other selected outsourcing arrangements.
BHN seeks a hands on, operational leader able to proactively identify opportunities for cost containment and revenue generation and to drive these changes across the Network, in a thoughtful and collaborative manner and maintain the integrity of the financial reports. The ideal candidate will be a proven healthcare finance executive who can provide expert guidance to the senior leadership team on all financial matters and strategies. The new executive must truly enjoy working with physicians, nurses and hospital staff and be able to translate and streamline financial data into meaningful information that is standardized, useful, and productive for operations.

The role is responsible for promoting student success through accurate and responsive advisement in student finance and service-related areas, providing support and advocacy as needed for students throughout the student lifecycle. This position is responsible and accountable for the advisement of students within their group and serving as a primary point of contact for the student(s) within their assigned portfolio. Responsibilities
- Supports the new student intake process by working with admissions to answer incoming student questions, provide a thorough review of program and student costs, and outline all possible options to fund their education.
- Create and confirm an accurate financial plan by establishing timeframes to complete any application process to be financially prepared to start and stay in school. Continuously reviews student accounts to advise students on their financial eligibility.
- Responsible for maintaining student satisfaction through facilitation of inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and SMS communication with students and internal stakeholders to Student Finance

The Training Specialist supports Institutional Support Services (ISS) by designing, delivering, and maintaining effective training programs that enable colleagues to perform their roles efficiently, accurately, and in compliance. This position will deliver initial and ongoing training to ISS Colleagues. This role partners closely with ISS leaders and functional SMEs to support onboarding, role‑based training, process changes, and continuous skill development across ISS teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meeting financial metrics set by owners and/or leadership including but not limited to revenue targets, cost of goods sold %’s (wine, liquor, beer, food, etc.), labor costs, and budgeted operational expenses.
- Identifying and implementing revenue generating, cost savings and operational efficiency opportunities.
- Ensuring NOMAD is operation ready during all standard hours of operation while implementing and enforcing established service standards and procedures.
- Manage the dining room/patio, including setting up and breaking down tables, ensuring cleanliness and order, maintaining an organized work environment, and resolving guest complaints.
- Oversee the bar, including ordering and maintaining inventory (wine/liquor/beer/etc.), making certain that drinks are served accurately and promptly.
- Ordering of all disposable and approved misc. items needed for daily operation of the restaurant.
- Development and training of all front-of- house staff, including, but not limited, to ambassadors, support, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses.
- Work closely with Chef and direct kitchen operations in their absence.
- Coordinate staff availability and prepare weekly FOH/BOH schedules to ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed for each shift.
- Schedule, screen and perform initial round of interviews for hiring needs.
- Onboarding of new hires confirming all pertinent payroll information is obtained and provided to Company Controller/Payroll Admin in a timely manner.
- Perform and/or oversee opening and closing procedures, including nightly close out and cash deposits.
- Support in preparation and execution for all major holiday weekends and events including but not limited to, restaurant buy-outs, Dart for Art, rehearsal dinners/parties etc.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Student Accounts in a fast paced and goal-oriented contact center environment, this role is responsible for assisting in student success through proactive and accurate account assessment and student assistance on past due balances for inactive students. This position manages a portfolio of multiple institutions under Financial Account Management. Colleague participates in servicing out of school student accounts, negotiating mutually acceptable payment plans and performing delinquency management on an assigned portfolio of accounts. Ensures that all students have the appropriate guidance to make informed financial decisions to resolve outstanding balances on their account and provides accurate information for students looking to resume. Ensures team members are identifying trends and providing a thorough, holistic customer experience to internal and external customers. Works closely with academic partners and other departments to research and resolve any student issues. Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant II provides strategic administrative and operational support to two Vice Presidents leading critical functions in Investor Relations and Alumni Engagement. The position provides a wide range of administration, general support and analysis duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature. The position will have regular exposure to confidential material and requires a great deal of professionalism, discretion and integrity in dealing with internal and external contacts.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate the needs and use discretion when setting priorities to keep the vice presidents updated and aware of meetings, agendas, travel, upcoming events, incoming emails and letters, situations relating to the administrative office, campuses, employees and visitors.
- Manages the leader’s calendar and contact database to schedule meetings, make travel arrangements (airline, car service, rental car, hotel, etc.), order office supplies/equipment, prepare expense statements, reserve and prepare facilities and catering.
- Act as a liaison between the leader and employees, clients and all external contacts, by utilizing good judgment in determining when to act independently and when to refer matters for further attention.
- Handle a wide variety of complex situations and time conflicts involving the business/administrative functions of the office and is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material on a regular basis.
- Maintains accurate records and files; develops and maintains filing systems to include electronic and hard copy, computer diskette and network systems; ensures filings are in proper format and filed in a timely manner; supplies information upon request.
- Coordinates travel arrangements for external stakeholders, including flights, lodging, ground transportation, meeting locations, and on‑site schedules.
- Oversees reimbursement processes for external partners, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant expense submissions.
- Conducts venue research for meetings, retreats, alumni events, and leadership gatherings, evaluating location options, availability, capacity, pricing, and amenities.
- Assist in preparing the budget and tracking expenses
- Organize large meetings which may include multiple departments of the organization.
- Offer support and assistance to other departments and employees as needed for special projects and/or events.

The Quality Assurance (QA)Learning Experience Designer actively engages in the review, design, development, and implementation of learning products (e.g., academic programs and courses, short courses, micro-credentials), working closely with strategic partners and vendors; this includes the quality review of new learning content, as well as the search for suitable existing learning content within Covista's owned content repositories and learning content management systems.
The QA Learning Experience Designer has a working knowledge of digital learning product design and development theories, processes, best practices, and trends, integrating that knowledge to enhance the student learning experience by leveraging contemporary learning design principles, applying flexible approaches, and driving strategic innovation to anticipate, meet, and exceed partner needs.
TheQA Learning Experience Designer manages multiple reviews during different stages of development, each with varying requirements and milestones. The QA Learning Experience Designer works with a range of internal and external academic experts, product development staff, vendors, and institutional representatives to ensure adherence to quality standards,product design decisions, business requirements, and academic expectations.
- Ensures the learning content developed for online/hybrid course delivery is of the highest quality possible and supports student mastery of learning outcomes.
- Ensures learning content adheres to quality standards, program/product design decisions, business requirements, and academic expectations; ensures that relevant internal and partner reviews occur and that feedback/required changes are incorporated.
