Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the Director of Finance in directing the activities of the Accounting Department, including direct responsibility for the financial and cost accounting functions.
What you will do:
- Direct and supervise the Accounting Department to include Accounts Payable, Subcontractor Payables, Payroll, Housing Receivables, job cost and general ledger accounting to ensure adherence with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls and company policies and procedures.
- Assist the Controller in preparing the annual Departmental Operating Budgets, Housing Budget, Capital Asset Budget, Land Development Budget and Cash Flow Budget.
- Assist the Controller in preparing financial forecasts of projected revenue and profit in conjunction with financial analysis of budget vs. actual operating results.
- Assist the Controller in meeting all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements of internal and external users.
- Assist the Controller in directing and overseeing the preparation of Personal Property, Sales and Use, and Real Estate Tax returns.
- Assist the Controller in designing, implementing and supporting procedures that will assure compliance with corporate policies.
- Work with and provide financial information to internal and external auditors and responds to the audit reports, as required.
- Approve expenditures and invoices within established company guidelines.
- Works with department managers to ensure consistent application of general ledger accounting and cost coding.

Responsibilities:
- The Lead Superintendent oversees the construction effort on complex, large healthcare projects or multiple healthcare projects to ensure it is constructed safely in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

- Partners with Project Executives with management of overall budget and forecasting of usage, by helping to control cost and monitoring potential changes from contractors, including time and materials.
- Attends internal and external (with owners and designers) project meetings to provide field progress reports, awareness of challenges faced, and help problem-solve on construction activities.
- Manages the installation of the work in the field to the quality standards required for the project.
- Supports the success of the project team, specifically upcoming Superintendents, by sharing lessons learned and training/mentoring; acts as a career advocate.
What you will need:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in the healthcare construction industry on large and complex projects
- Experience leading large healthcare projects greater than or equal to $500 million
- Minimum of 8 years of direct supervision of projects teams including trades
- Willing to travel throughout the Southeast region

What you will do:
- Maintain knowledge of local markets, competition, Real Estate laws/rules, public opinion, local and national trends and any government proposed regulations related to the home-buying industry. Complete competitive studies for management upon request.
