Qualifications You Must Have

relevant experience
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with linear converters.
Experience with any of the following non-isolated converter topologies: buck, boost, buck-boost.
Experience with design, analysis, and test with analog electronic design and analysis, including FET, BJT, and/or Op-amp circuits.
Qualifications We Prefer
Lab experience specific to power electronics and/or controls electronics
Demonstrated use of software tools for electrical circuit simulation and/or printed circuit board layout
Demonstrated ability to document designs and circuit performance verification
Understanding of fundamental power conversion concepts, components, and techniques
Demonstrated understanding of linear controls and motor drive techniques.
Basic understanding of commonly used power converter and/or motor drive control schemes
Design, analysis, and/or test experience with any of the following isolated converter topologies: flyback, half-bridge, full-bridge, and/or push-pull. Design scope will ideally include stability.
Experience with performing circuit card assembly-level power architecture trades, and/or with system-level power architecture trades, including power converter specification development experience.
Professional experience guiding Electronic Computer-Aided Design (ECAD) personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation (direct experience with such tools is adequate to fulfill this requirement).

Job Summary
The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a Research Engineer II position. This role supports sponsored research in the modeling and simulation of turbulent reacting multiphase flows in propulsion and power systems.
The successful candidate will conduct high-fidelity computational research using Large Eddy Simulation (LES) and Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) to investigate complex turbulent reacting flows in aerospace propulsion applications, including gas turbines, scramjets, and liquid rocket systems. Research activities are closely aligned with externally funded projects and include simulation development, model validation, data analysis, reporting, and dissemination of results.
This is a full-time research faculty appointment contingent upon sponsored funding.
Responsibilities
Research Engineer II
ResponsibilitiesConduct high-fidelity LES and DNS simulations of geometrically complex turbulent reacting flows relevant to propulsion and power systems
Develop, implement, and validate computational models and numerical methods within specialized research codes
Optimize and execute simulation cases on advanced high-performance computing platforms
Process, analyze, and interpret large simulation datasets
Support sponsored research deliverables, including milestone reporting and technical documentation
Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at technical conferences
Contribute to proposal development and expansion of externally funded research programs
Assist in mentoring graduate students and supporting broader research program activities
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
- A Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering , and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
- A Doctoral degree.

What will you do?
- Create weekly dining room menus from personal or established recipes.
- Supervise food prep maintaining quality, presentation, and sanitation standards, while verifying portion sizes, department rules and ensuring policies and procedures are maintained.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is working efficiently, supervising team members with cleaning and food production in their areas, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers, as well as supervising proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food.
- Actively maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership and assist in ordering and stocking supplies.
- Perform opening, closing and side work duties as instructed according to proper guidelines and all other duties assigned.
- Maintain professional communication with management and supervise, train, direct/lead all hourly and kitchen staff.
More about you
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor.
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or service environment preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity.
- Attentive and detailed oriented with basic math skills to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

The RoleAs a CAM Programmer, you will have direct responsibility for producing CAM packages and CNC Programs for highly complex, close-tolerance components. Internal Product Development:

CAM Process Optimization through Internal Feedback Integration:
- Actively seek out and incorporate feedback from team members and technical staff to boost productivity and refine machining programs and overall CAM process procedures.
- Create repeatable output across the production of hundreds of units, utilizing partner teams' feedback in the pursuit of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Rigorously identify gaps and communicate these findings to CAM Process Designers for integration or revision
Fixture Design and CAD Modeling:
- Design and model 3D fixtures conforming to Hadrian's fixture design standards with the Siemens NX CAD platform. Embrace advanced fixture design processes (e.g., 3-2-1 locating, Poka-Yoke error-proofing, equation-driven design) for creating efficient and robust fixtures.
- Adhere to industry-standard CAD design-tree practices and follow internally developed workflows
Software Proficiency:
- Operate efficiently within the hyperMILL and NX environments, utilizing best practices while fully leveraging Hadrian's automation suite for effective design and program creation.
- Maximize the use of Hadrian's Co-Pilot CAM integration throughout the CAM Programming process, fully leveraging it on a daily basis.
- Effectively utilize a variety of communication tools such as email, messaging applications, Microsoft Office suite, etc.
- Proven experience in programming 3 and/or 5-axis CNC machine tools within a production environment of high-tolerance precision components.
- Prior involvement in the aerospace sector or similar industries with stringent requirements.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, quality standards, and tool selection is essential.
- Average understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T).
- Capability to interpret data (such as CMM reports), identify trends, or tools needed to gather understanding of dimensional instability, and apply insights to enhance the manufacturing process.

For this role, the target salary range is $110,000 - $165,000 (actual range may vary based on experience). This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
