Summary: The Financial Analyst is responsible for cost accounting activities with an emphasis on inventory management and cost analysis. This role includes preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting, as well as supporting FP&A activities such as budgeting and forecasting. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Director of IC in the ownership of enterprise financial oversight of inventory investment and stock integrity risks.
- Help lead financial governance for inventory accuracy, shrink exposure, and provisioning strategy.
- Prepare financial modeling for inventory provisions, shrink accruals, and GRNI exposure.
- Provide executive-level reporting and analytics on inventory trends and risk.

Qualifications:

The Asset Protection Financial Analyst will serve as support for the Asset Protection Department in the monthly and annual budgeting processes, performing closing and accrual analysis and preparing monthly financial forecasts, preparing other recurring monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis for distribution to departmental and executive management and identifying profit improvement opportunities
