Job Description

Sika is looking for an experienced shipping and receiving lead, to join our growing team. At Sika, the shipping and receiving employees perform various Shipping and Receiving tasks, pick material for internal process orders, and perform cycle counts as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.

    • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting,

    accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.

    • Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.

    • Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or

    nonconformance to specifications.

    • Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or

    • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and

    complete delivery.

    • Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other

    transport vehicles.

    • Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for

    transport to designated areas.

    • Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.

    • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging

    batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.

    • Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between

    loading, processing, and storage areas.

    • Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.

    • Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials.

    • Complete cycle counts daily or as needed.

    • Support other areas of production as designated by Manufacturing Manager.

    • Pull and put away all material needed for production.

    • Organize and keep all materials together in the same locations.

    • All other duties as assigned.

The Strategic Sourcing Intern will support the sourcing and procurement of high-value equipment—such as inverters, transformers, and other critical components—for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Primary Responsibilities


Supplier & Market Research

Data Analytics & Reporting

Your responsibilities

The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for loading and unloading product that is shipped and/or received at the Central Distribution Center. As a Clamp Truck Operator, it will be your responsibility to follow and abide by all BSH and CDC rules and procedures to the best of your ability.

Safety:

  • Safely operates industrial clamp/lift truck, manual pallet jacks, and other forms of materials handling equipment on the distribution floor.
  • Adheres to BSH guidelines by wearing and utilizing required PPE.

General:

  • Maintains material handling equipment including electronic computers, mechanical scales, doors, door locks, door levelers, battery chargers and related equipment.
  • Loads materials into vehicles, containers, and other forms of transportation installing strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Conveys materials from storage to designated staging areas and records serial numbers using the correct lifting apparatus for the designated product.
  • Follows written or oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved in a timely, scheduled manner to the customer.
  • Unloads and sorts materials from trailers and locate in the Distribution Center, either by directed put away or open location.
  • Order picks and records number of units of materials moved or handled on a pick ticket.
  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, boxes or other containers.
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with handling equipment and cleans work area, machines and equipment.

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. Responsibilities

* Conduct market research and analysis; collaborate with the Corporate Energy Market Leader and regional leadership to define vision and strategy for the Mid-Atlantic energy market
