We are recruiting for a fellow in our new Global Women's Health Fellowship program. This is a two-year fellowship that incorporates clinical, teaching, and research responsibilities at Stony Brook Medicine and Hospital Central de Maputo in Mozambique. The fellow will graduate with an advanced degree in public health and will graduate equipped to run a global health program that focuses on capacity building in women's health, clinical education, program development and/or program implementation. The overarching goal of this fellowship is to create OBGYN professionals who are world ready and skilled leaders in Global Women's Health on the International stage. Graduates of this program will be experts eligible to apply for leadership positions in academic medicine, public health, international development, and government roles.

The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Pediatrics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is recruiting a candidate for a one-year long Pediatric Acute Care Fellowship program. Ideal candidate should either be someone who has completed or will complete a pediatrics, family medicine, or emergency medicine residency program in the United States.

One of only a handful of Pediatric Acute Care/Urgent Care fellowships in the country, our Pediatric Acute Care program is a one-year fellowship designed for clinicians interested in both community and academic medicine. To meet national core competencies, fellows will gain necessary clinical skills such as performing basic procedures common to urgent care and will gain experience with POCUS first-hand from top leaders in the field. Fellows will also be exposed to urgent care administration, telehealth, research, and education. A unit of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts (IAC), WCP teaches over 6,000 students a year in first-year composition, business/technical communication, research writing, and learning support. • A 455-bed regional referral center is presenting an excellent opportunity for a fellowship trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist who is certified in Advanced Perioperative TEE.
• The hospital-employed physician will receive an annual salary of $675K, signing bonus to start at $50K, student loan repayment, possible stipend, and full benefits
• The successful candidate would join two other full-time Cardiac Anesthesiologists and a team of five cardiac-dedicated CRNAs.

UPMC is recruiting a Heart & Lung Transplant Fellow to participate in advanced training across two high?volume services. The fellow will facilitate the Heart and Lung Transplant services with graded responsibility toward independence under the direction of the heart and lung division co-chiefs. The structure of the fellowship is rotation-based. In addition to surgical management, the fellow will serve as a teaching assistant for junior cardiothoracic fellows and residents, contributing to bedside teaching, case?based education, and structured didactics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day?to?day management of heart and lung transplant inpatients, including pre?, intra?, and post?operative care, ICU rounding, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with transplant cardiology, pulmonology, advanced heart and lung failure teams, ECMO/VAD services, infectious diseases, pharmacy, PT/OT, social work, and care management.
• Participate in organ offers/list management, selection conferences, operative planning, and OR participation for transplant and related procedures.
• Engage in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives within the transplant programs.
• Participate in call as assigned.
