3. What you’ll do
You'll own the full sales cycle at Peerbound, from first touch to signed contract. You'll work directly with our CEO and Head of Sales to build the enterprise motion from the ground up. This is not a role where you inherit a book of business; this is a role where you create one.
Build pipeline from scratch. Prospect into Marketing leaders at B2B SaaS companies. Generate your own opportunities through outbound, events, and relationships. While you will have SDRs helping you, you will not be successful if you can’t fill your own pipeline. You'll also have a great product built by a world-class engineering team, strong positioning, and the freedom to be creative about how you fill the funnel.
Run and close complex deals. Lead executive-level discovery. Tell a compelling story about why customer proof points are the next competitive battleground. Articulate clear value and ROI to every buyer you sell to. Navigate multi-threaded procurement cycles across security, legal, procurement, and finance. Close real contracts with real urgency.
Shape the playbook. Every process, every template, every lesson learned will have your name on it. Feed buyer insights back into product, marketing, and GTM strategy. Our sales team will be built on the foundation you lay.
4. Who you are
5+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales, with experience closing five-figure and six-figure deals. You've carried a $1M quota and you know the difference between forecasting a deal and actually closing one. You can sell to VPs and C-suite buyers and you can sell change, not just software.
You have a quantifiable, consistent track record of outperformance in your career. You can build pipeline without relying on inbound or SDRs. You know how to create urgency, build relationships, and stay disciplined operationally. You crave the pace, ambiguity, and autonomy of a startup-up where you have to figure things out yourself.

- Follow and meet the manufacturing schedule as defined by Scheduler. Adjust personnel to maintain schedule priorities.
- Strive to manufacture all products to meet specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues. Stop production if solution cannot be found.
- Support data accuracy and input for production analytics. Use data to analyze productivity to manage production and personnel. Make recommendations to management as appropriate.
- Identify process and procedure problems that negatively affect quality and efficiency. Work with team, other shifts, Engineering, and Quality to resolve problems and continuously improve process.
- Communicate issues and solutions across all shifts. This ensures solutions are leveraged and problems are not repeated.
- Ensure team has resources, tools, and materials to keep machines running efficiently and without quality defects.
- Identify training needs for personnel on shift and schedule training.
- Develop/implement growth and development plans for personnel. This includes daily feedback and annual reviews.
- Verify that orders are complete, documentation is complete and accurate, parts are packed and labeled, properly report time and quantity correctly, and ready to be shipped (all paperwork is filled out completely and correctly).
- Assure production team is performing line clean out and work cell clean up prior to next job or shift.
- Responsible for meeting all SQF (Safe Quality Foods), quality, and customer requirements for this position.
- Responsible for facility lock up and shutdown of unused laser systems.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role utilizing automated production equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or coursework in Management, Business, or Leadership.
- Working knowledge of quality management system (QMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and SQF.
- Exposure to or completion of formal business courses beyond the high school level.

Key Responsibilities
Sales, Quoting & Customer Support
• Prepare and issue quotations for gear manufacturing, gearbox repair, and related machining services.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding gear manufacturing, gearbox repair, and machining capabilities.
• Communicate pricing, lead times, and scope of work to customers.
• Follow up on quotations to secure orders and maintain customer relationships.
• Coordinate with customers regarding project requirements, schedules, and technical questions.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with customers and support repeat business.

Technical Review
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and gearbox assemblies to determine scope of work.
• Advise customers on manufacturability and repair options.
• Assist customers in identifying replacement gears or gearbox repair solutions.
• Evaluate gearbox failures and recommend repair approaches when required.

Estimating & Job Planning
• Develop manufacturing routers and job travelers for production.
• Determine machining processes required (turning, hobbing, shaping, grinding, heat treat, etc.).
• Estimate labor hours, materials, and subcontract services.
• Work with engineering and production to confirm manufacturing feasibility.

• Prepare gearbox inspection and failure analysis reports when required.
• Maintain records of quotes, job specifications, and technical communications.
• Ensure proper documentation is available for production and quality control.
