I have been recruiting talent for a while (23 years) and been in the tech sector since the 1990s. Due to all of this, I am going to be far more focused on 'fit' than anything else...a fit for you and a fit for the client.

I am actually very good friends with the COO for this firm. He and I have been close personal friends for close to 15 years. The reason I mention this is that I know a little bit about these guys and what creates a good 'fit' here... So, what are those components of a good 'fit'. you might ask? Well here are a few characteristics:

• This is an environment where there is an expectation that you will not just do your best work...but want to do your best work. Everyone that you will interact with are also striving to do their best work as well. So, we are seeking that individual that doesn't just want a 'job' but is looking to elevate their career, learn from others, and share their knowledge.
• This is not a 'drama filled' environment. This role is not for that kind of person that feels like the world revolves around them. We have all meet salespeople that have a sense of 'bravado' (there is a less politically correct term for this)...this is not that kind of environment. So, I think you get what I am saying...confidence is one thing...being an (carefully placed explative) is another.

This particular client manufactures MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Software that is used by firms both large and small (typically their customer base are typically firms with 500 employees or less) and are primarily focused in the Midwest in terms of its install base (these guys are based in Germany...nope it isn't SAP). This clients MIP (Manufacturing Integration Platform) and Advanced Planning and Scheduling System use AI to help complete this client's overall product portfolio. A great way to describe this firm is that they are smack dab in the middle of the "Smart Factory Revolution". With over 45 years of experience and 520

professionals across 13 locations, they empower manufacturing companies to optimize their

production processes through innovative software solutions. Their software is used by over 1,100,000 people in 1,750 manufacturing companies worldwide.

For this role, we are seeking a Account Exec / Account Manager that is already located in Chicago. In addition, I can only work with US Citizens or Green Card Holders for this role.

If you are not located in Chicago, we would need you to be located in the midwest. This role is about 70% outside sales and 30% inside sales. This is a true 'hunter with hunger' role. There is no cap on commissions here as well. This role has uncapped commissions.

If you are anything like me, my eyes get a little buggy when I see job descriptions with a zillion 'must haves', half of which don't exist. So, due to that, I am going to give you the high level bullet points. If you are interested and apply, I can share all of those bullets. However, this should give you a good idea of what we are looking for and what the responsibilities of the role are.

Here are the key responsibilities:

• Lead Sales efforts to the mid-market manufacturing sector.
• Build a sales plan to provide integrated software and service solutions to meet prospect and existing customer needs as a strategic business partner.
• Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including, proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations, etc.
• Develop proven metrics and reporting to drive the team to achieve success with our current and prospective customers

Here is what we are seeking:

• Experience working for either an ERP or MES Software firm as an account executive. This ERP or MES experience is an absolute must have.
• If you have large scale implementation project sales experience with a Cognizant, IBM Global Services, Accenture, PWC, E&Y, etc, that would be great to see.
• Experience in business-to-business sales (especially in the manufacturing space), including prospecting, relationship management and closing complex deals for consulting-intense software solutions in the manufacturing industry, industrial automation, and logistics space (especially at the executive level).
• Strong technology skills, familiarity with value-added processes in the manufacturing industry. This should include the digitization needs of manufacturing companies and their processes.

• Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results.

• Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment

We are seeking an experienced Safety Instructor to develop, deliver, and evaluate classroom and hands-on training in aerospace safety disciplines, with specific expertise in fall protection, confined space entry, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and respiratory protection. The ideal candidate will combine field experience, recognized certifications, instructional skills, and a practical orientation toward compliance and risk reduction.

Position Summary:

• Provide Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) training support for production of Core Stages (CS) and Exploration Upper Stages (EUS) on the NASA SLS program.
• Deliver and evaluate classroom and hands-on technical safety training focused on fall protection, confined space, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and respiratory protection. Use data and assessments to measure training effectiveness, support continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory and program compliance across multiple aerospace sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver classroom, structured on-the-job, and practical training, drills, and demonstrations for fall protection, confined space entry/rescue, LOTO, and respiratory protection.
• Deploy assessment tools to measure training effectiveness; analyze results and provide actionable feedback to participants and management.
• Create and maintain course materials, student guides, checklists, practical evaluation forms, competency assessments, and certification records.
• Maintain auditable training records and certification evidence in prescribed systems; produce clear documentation and ensure data integrity.
• Perform job hazard analyses (JHAs), support written program and permit development/review, and conduct equipment/PPE inspections with recommended corrective actions.
• Coach and mentor team members, supervisors, and contractors using established procedures and observation-based feedback.
• Evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate content, objectives, and course design; participate in training design reviews and stakeholder engagement.
• Research and provide formative feedback during design and development of training projects.
• Support incident investigations by reviewing training records and contributing to root-cause analysis as needed.
• Produce reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing training status, effectiveness, and key safety metrics.
• Work variable shifts or alternate schedules, including weekends/holidays, to meet mission requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on safety experience with demonstrated expertise in fall protection, confined space, LOTO, and respiratory protection.
• Proven experience instructing adult learners in classroom and practical environments.
• Knowledgeable in the safe operation of cranes, scaffolding systems, powered industrial trucks, work platforms (experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop clear lesson plans and assessment tools.
• Competence in risk assessments, JHAs, and corrective action implementation.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient with data collection and analysis (Excel/pivot tables), dashboarding/reporting tools and maintaining auditable training records in prescribed systems.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills and demonstrated capability to create professional reports and presentations.

Certifications (preferred):

• Certified/Authorized Fall Protection Instructor.
• Confined Space Entry/Rescue Instructor or documented rescue experience.
• Lockout/Tagout Trainer or documented energy control program experience.
• Respiratory Protection Program Administrator or respirator fit-testing credentials (qualitative and quantitative).
• First Aid/CPR/AED and, where applicable, advanced rescue certifications.
• Preferred: CSP, CIH, or other professional safety certification.

Core Competencies:

• Adaptable instruction for varied audiences (craftspeople, supervisors, contractors).
• Strong observation, coaching, and constructive feedback skills.
• Familiarity with LMS and training record management; maintain auditable certification evidence.

GP Strategies Corporation has an opening for an Aircraft Instructor with aircraft systems experience to support a large aerospace client in San Antonio, TX. This is a full-time, benefitted, exempt position.

Job Summary:

Conducts and performs training or solutions using the appropriate medium and method (classroom, computer-based training [CBT], simulations, on-the-job [OJT], coaching, job-aids) to satisfy business needs and requirements related to aircraft systems installation and repair requirements. Conducts training covering a broad range of aircraft subject matter.

Responsibilities:

• Instructs in the performance of aircraft installations, repairs, and modifications on commercial and military aircraft Airframe and Flight Control systems.
• Assesses and tests the competence of employees/students in performing tasks requiring certification or qualification to comply with government and organizational standards and specifications.
• Confers with management/client to understand work situation.
• Delivers training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty.
• Evaluates training programs and reports on trainee progress.
• Maintains training programs and materials.
• Prepare training areas to be teach ready.
• Travels for work 10-15% of the time.

Qualifications:

• Experience in general aircraft systems such as mechanical, electrical, and structures.
• Experience conducting training in a classroom environment
• Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in-house systems.

GP Strategies has an opening for an Aviation Instructor to support a large aerospace client in San Antonio, TX. We are seeking candidates who are able to conduct training covering a broad range of Aircraft electrical, mechanical, structural and systems subject matter including, but not limited to, shield terminations, crimping, bond & ground, soldering, seal, hole drilling, fastener installation/removal, and more. This is a full-time, benefitted position and will involve 50% travel Internationally and throughout the U.S. Background/Experience with heavy aircraft is required.

Job Summary:

• Confers with management/client to understand work situation. Performs needs, job and task analysis to determine training required for trainees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
• Recommends an implementation plan for development of instructional methods and delivery of individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
• Designs and develops teaching outlines and specific training to address the client needs by incorporating methods and requirements of instructional systems such as Instructional Systems Development (ISD), Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) or Training Systems Development (TSD) process.
• Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
• Delivers training sessions covering specified areas of technical specialty.
• Designs and develops exams to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of recommended training.
• Evaluates training programs and reports on trainee progress.
• Maintains training programs and materials.
• Travels to client sites as needed.
• This role may require work on multiple shifts.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years education, training and/or prior experience in electrical, mechanical, or structures systems
• 2-5 years prior teaching/instructor classroom delivery experience
• Ability to travel up to 50% to various client locations throughout the U.S and Internationally
• Background/Experience in one or more of the noted platforms: C-17, 747 or KC46

• Engineering Drawings/Interpretation Experience (B/P, Drawings, Specifications, Repair Manuals)
• NACES School Ejection Seat Experience

Opportunity

Skybound is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Systems Designer to help build a thrilling new game franchise. The Senior Systems Designers create rewarding loops that help players set goals, progress, and stay engaged over multiple play sessions. They craft and tune player advancement and rewards across the entire game.

You will collaborate closely with the Game Director, department leads, and cross-disciplinary teams to define and drive the strategic vision for player progression and meta systems. You’ll mentor other designers, establish best practices, and ensure the systems design team delivers high-quality, scalable solutions that support both gameplay and business goals.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the vision and execution of player progression, meta systems, and engagement loops across single and multiplayer experiences.
• Define and drive KPIs for progression systems that align with player satisfaction and business goals.
• Mentor and guide systems designers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
• Own major feature areas from concept through implementation, ensuring quality and consistency across the game.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, art, UX, and production to ensure systems are well-integrated and technically feasible.
• Establish and evangelize best practices for systems design, documentation, and tool usage.
• Anticipate and resolve design challenges, proactively improving workflows and pipelines.
• Playtest and iterate on systems regularly, using data and player feedback to refine and optimize.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the games industry, with a focus on systems design and progression.
• Proven leadership experience, including mentoring designers and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Shipped at least one AAA title with significant ownership of progression or meta systems.
• Deep understanding of player psychology, engagement strategies, and content pacing.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex systems into clear, actionable designs.
• Experience collaborating with engineering on tool development and pipeline optimization.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with fluency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.
• Strategic mindset, balancing creative vision with technical and business constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Unreal Engine, including scripting and integration into production pipelines.
• Strong technical scripting skills and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Passion for combat-oriented games, player progression, and Skybound’s unique properties.

Job Type: Regular, Full-Time

Salary Range: $125,000 - $165,000

• Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to: market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc.
