The Plant Manager at Stella-Jones in Arlington is responsible for managing daily plant operation functions in a safe manner to ensure production schedules and requirements are achieved on a quality, timely and cost-effective basis. Key Responsibilities

Safety, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

  • Drives a positive safety culture by setting a strong example and continually improving the effectiveness of safety training and programs.

Quality Assurance: Product Inspector (Produce) track:

This internship goes beyond a typical desk job, you’ll be immersed in the core of our supply chain operations. The QA (Produce) Intern plays a hands-on role in inspecting fresh produce and other perishable items to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with Wakefern standards. This position involves physically examining inbound deliveries for grade, freshness, proper labeling, and packaging integrity, as well as monitoring temperatures and verifying weights and counts. Interns will gain first-hand experience with Wakefern’s Food Safety and Quality Practices, USDA and FDA guidelines. Interns will be learning leadership skills mentored by supervisors to understand all skills required in a Quality Assurance Product Inspection department.


What you will do

  • Work in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
  • Inspects all inbound deliveries to ensure the purchased goods conform to all established product specifications, standards, and grade requirements.
  • Performs random organoleptic inspections of inbound goods to assure the quality, grade, and wholesomeness of the product.
  • Inspects all inbound deliveries for cleanliness and soundness of the transportation vehicle and the absence of cross contamination.

The Effectors PG&C Center is currently hiring for a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, & Control Engineer position in Tucson, AZ to support execution of the portfolio of current and upcoming missile programs. As a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, & Control Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping with the evaluation, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software algorithms. You will collaborate with a team of engineers in an integrated product team that will be responsible for tactical embedded software, firmware, and integrated flight software 6 Degrees-of-Freedom simulations to achieve overall system performance requirements.  This position is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ. 

What You Will Do

  

  • Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code

  • Definition and execution of system level performance studies and analyses to inform the development and integration of new capabilities, refinement of existing capability, or to address obsolescence

  • Work within an agile framework to lead development of backlogs, plans, and metrics

  • Provide experience and guidance to help the program train new engineers and execute efficiently and effectively

  • Support missile performance analysis including model development, system optimization, and Monte Carlo assessments with expected system disturbances.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience

  • GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling / Simulation experience

  • Engineering experience in missile system applications to include at least three of the following or subject matter expertise in at least one:

Position Summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Fabrication Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee and manage quality control and assurance processes for fabrication operations supporting industrial and process piping projects. Key Responsibilities

Quality Control Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards and procedures aligned with industry codes, project specifications, and client requirements
  • Oversee daily inspection of machinery, equipment, fabrication processes, and working conditions to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
  • Prepare daily inspection reports and provide recommendations for corrective actions when quality issues are identified

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all quality control activities comply with industry regulations, codes, and project standards

Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze quality metrics, trends, and performance data to identify opportunities for process improvement and defect reduction

Estimating & Bid Support

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Training & Team Development

  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to quality control personnel and fabrication staff on quality standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quality control experience within pipe fabrication, industrial/process piping, or mechanical subcontractor environments
  • Experience working in a fabrication shop environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and fabrication documentation
  • Experience with cost estimating related to fabrication and piping work
  • Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods, materials, and project specifications
  • Familiarity with process piping unit rates and estimating references such as ’73 Price Book or Page & Nations
