Job Summary
Under administrative direction of the Deputy Director, Administration Finance and Information Technology Services Division, the Accounting Administrator III is the Chief Accounting Officer of the department. This position plans, organizes, and manages the activities of the accounting sections. This includes management and oversight of the development of the preparation of year‑end financial statements, coordination with Department of Finance and State Controller’s Office staff, and review and adjustment of internal financial controls.
As the Chief Accounting Officer of the department, this is the primary fiscal policy and decision‑maker for the areas under its purview, including accounting and compliance review. This position is responsible for ensuring overall financial program delivery, while maintaining fiscal accountability, compliance with control agencies, stakeholder expectations, the department’s mission, and policy directives.
This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program need. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the position’s designated headquarters location, as indicated on their duty statement, at their own expense. Description
- Assist with creating, implementing, and improving the plant's future state EHS management system. Support behavioral-based safety programs and processes.
- Incorporate new EHS regulations, directives, and standards into the plant's management systems. Conduct regular internal EHS auditing to ensure compliance, including follow-up on incident/accident investigations through the internal EHS system, corporate audit, and compliance inspection actions.
- Interact with the production and maintenance team to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Train, audit, instruct, and correct where necessary.
- Chair, conduct, and report on the actions of the Plant Safety Committee.
- Assist with preparing and executing the necessary air, water, and solid waste management activities, reporting and permit requirements.
- Assist with managing and coordinating safety training for the entire facility.
- Ensure that Federal, State, and local EHS laws, regulations, codes, and rules are followed.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, QC Laboratory, Sourcing, and Engineering to institute EHS controls and remedial measures to reduce risk due to EHS conditions, behaviors, procedures, or equipment.
- Maintain safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene programs, including PPE and ergonomic assessments that align with corporate goals and programs.
- Create ways to keep workers, contractors, and visitors safe from harm by working with peers to identify and resolve unsafe acts and conditions.
- Inspect machines for safety devices and guard compliance.
- Evaluate current and future equipment, products, facilities, or processes and those planned for future use through a Management of Change process.
- Utilize and enhance corporate programs identifying, eliminating, and mitigating hazards found on site.
- Review injury data to identify trends and implement programs and practices to address identified hazards.
- Documentation/Records Management — Capturing, storing, and maintaining information in written or electronic form as required by policy/regulations.
- Evaluate the probability and severity of accidents by completing risk assessments. Provide specialized technical advice and support on all aspects of tool design, machining, manufacturing, and estimating.
- Engage site leadership in making decisions and solving problems. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Knowledge of Six Sigma/LEAN is a plus.

Requirements

Experience And Training

Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the process of ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulatory operational requirements, environmental permit conditions, and project specific safety requirements for the Port Miami Tunnel. This role provides direct support to the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager with project-level monitoring, reporting and compliance related to the Quality Management Plan (QMP), Safety and Environmental programs, regulatory reporting, and training.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The HSEQ Professional will work in conjunction and support the HSEQ Manager in:
• Developing and implementing innovative HSEQ programs and strategies and in maintaining compliance to OSHA and environmental standards along with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Implementing the Port Miami Tunnel HSEQ initiatives, performing process and regulatory gap analysis, and in developing key performance indicators and metrics.
• The development and implementation of general safety policies, programs, procedures, delivering trainings and updating training matrices to maintain compliance.
• Conducting random HSEQ observations and process quality audits during regular operations and selected tunnel closures to ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal Safety and Environmental regulations and company, project, and site requirements.
• Assisting in the execution of site COVID-19 protocols.
• Performing and/or coordinating regulated, scheduled and unscheduled Environment, Health and Safety inspections including, but not limited to: hazardous waste areas, satellite waste areas, safety showers and eyewashes, fire extinguishers, fire suppression system, fall protection equipment, confined spaces, powered industrial trucks, etc.
• Setting requirements for the management of the site’s hazardous, non-hazardous and universal waste in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Actively participating as a member of the site Safety Committee, the Hurricane Emergency Response (HER) Team and the Florida Life Safety Committee (FLSC).
• Improving the new employee orientation programs and contractor safety inductions in collaboration with the closure supervisor.
• Collaborating with Operations and Maintenance teams to effectively implement assignments, as well as to monitor Contractor’s Safety and Health Programs, Job Hazard Analysis, and Project specific Safety and Quality Plans.
• Supporting the implementation of corporate programs at the project site.
• Implementing and coaching others in conducting Job Safety Analysis (JSA), safety meetings, safety stand-downs and lessons learned reviews.
• Supporting the facilitation of crucial conversations with operations and HSEQ leaders when deficiencies are not appropriately corrected. Ensure jobsite observations are documented in the company-specified safety management system.
• Assisting in the investigation and analysis of good catches, close calls/near misses, and incidents.
• Collaborating with the Port Miami Tunnel team to determine root causes, contributing factors, and developing and communicating lessons learned through incident reports and safety meetings.
• Providing subject matter expert support under the direction of the HSEQ Manager to Operations and Maintenance.
• Providing emergency care evaluation and first aid, when required, ensure injured worker is medically evaluated and treated (if needed), facilitating the coordination of post incident drug and alcohol testing, and assisting the HSEQ Manager in overseeing return to work and restricted duty programs.
• Collaborating with planning/procurement in the specification of appropriate PPE and first aid supplies.
• Monitoring site performance to ensuring compliance and sustainability of the site’s Quality Management Systems.
• Assisting in interpreting laboratory sampling results and preparing regulatory reports.
• Coordinating and implementing QC standards, policies, process standards, initiatives, performing scheduled internal/external audits, quality reviews and approvals to ensure the application of QHSE standards and ensuring the documents are accurate and consistent.
• Implementing sustainable corrective actions/preventive actions (CAPAs) and in verification of effectiveness and sustainability.
• Ensuring the continuous improvement to quality and safety processes, policies and systems and participates in the development and implementation of short- and long-term site continuous improvement HSESQ strategic plans.
• Performing other tasks and duties, as required and assigned by the HSEQ Manager and other Project Management.

Knowledge
• Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant federal, state/provincial, local, company, and client HSEQ standards.
• Must be knowledgeable of general industry OSHA 29 CFR 1910, 40 CFR and 49 CFR requirements with subject matter expertise in the following: Fall protection, Control of Hazardous Energy, Power Industrial Trucks, Electrical Safety, Machine guard, Confined Spaces, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Prevention, Spill response, Respiratory Protection, Air quality instrumentation.
• Must be knowledgeable on environmental requirements for: Environmental permitting, Industrial waste, storm water, air pollution controls, above ground tanks, hazardous waste management, HAZWOPER.
• Must be familiar with CDC guidelines for COVID-19 prevention.
Communication

• Hazwoper certification (required).
• Experience in conducting audits and in the management of the internal audit processes.
• Must obtain the following within three to six (3-6) months of hire: OSHA 10-hour, Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) certification, National Incident Management System (NIMS) training.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 10-hour instructor (Desired).

Work Conditions/ Physical Demands
Work Environment:

Position Summary
The Field Service Specialist is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and modernization of highly specialized decoking systems at refinery sites worldwide. This role combines advanced technical expertise, hands‑on mechanical and electrical work, system integration, customer support, and professional communication. The specialist represents the company as a system expert and ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of complex decoking equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & System Assembly
- Install pump units and all related subsystems, including motors, gearboxes, turbines, coolers, lube oil units, mechanical seals, and oil supply systems.
- Install and align decoking control valves, piping, pump control panels, and soft starters.
- Assemble complete decoking equipment: winches, pulley blocks, crossheads, drill stems, drill stem drives, guide devices, cutting tools, enclosures, and instrumentation.
- Inspect and verify customer equipment such as coker tower beams, guide rails, latching systems, and position switches.
- Perform site-specific modifications, especially for non‑standardized or customer‑dependent decoking equipment.
2. Pre‑Commissioning & Commissioning
- Perform mechanical and electrical inspections of all installed components.
- Execute functional tests of pump units, lube oil systems, control valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and complete decoking equipment.
- Conduct full system commissioning, including pump performance testing, vibration and temperature monitoring, and parameter adjustment.
- Guide and instruct control system programmers, including parameter optimization and troubleshooting.
- Train customer personnel under real refinery operating conditions.
3. Maintenance, Repairs & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair pumps, valves, winches, gearboxes, crossheads, pulley blocks, cutting tools, and other decoking components.
- Perform damage analysis, component measurement, refurbishment, reassembly, and functional validation.

General Position Summary & Responsibilities
This position reports to the Regional Accounts Manager. This role will continually seek new opportunities to buy scrap and develops relationships leading to the acquisition of all grades of metals.
This position will focus on developing and building customer/supplier relationships and negotiating prices and long-term contracts that build, grow, and retain the supplier base. Incumbent must be knowledgeable of all different types of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous scrap grades to assess the value, quality, and the required processing to maximize profit for the company. This position will work with several cross-functioning teams within the organization to successfully maximize volume and margin requirements based on the commercial strategy.
This buyer will be knowledgeable about the transportation, grading, handling, and processing costs for all commodities and possess a thorough understanding of the current pricing strategy. This position will understand current market conditions and be cognizant of customer’s and competitor’s pricing.
Essential Functions
Environmental and Health & Safety (H&S)
- Ensures safe work practices and equipment are always used and that documentation and current practices are in accordance with company safety policies, OSHA, and other regulatory guidelines. In addition, provides a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs is a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for establishing and leading the company’s quality and regulatory function, as well as the champion for Moximed’s total quality management system for orthopedic implants and single-use instruments.
This leader oversees all aspects of quality assurance, quality control, regulatory affairs, compliance, and post-market surveillance. They will also guide the regulatory strategy needed to support current commercial products and future pipeline innovations in conjunction with senior management.
The Senior Director will define organizational structure, hire key roles, and foster talent development within the QA and RA department to help ensure successful completion of projects and company milestones in close collaboration with Research and Development, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Clinical Affairs.
This role includes being the Regulatory Affairs team representative for interactions with regulatory bodies, primarily the US FDA and as such will oversee activities related to submissions, registrations and listings, and Medical Device Reporting in cooperation with multiple departments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Quality Assurance:
- Provide leadership to the existing Quality Assurance team including managers and individual contributors.
- Assume primary responsibility for implementation and maintenance of all aspects of the company-wide quality management system. Determine and enforce (through functional groups) quality requirements in accordance with FDA QMSR and ISO standards.
- Lead preparation and planning for quality programs to support commercial activities and ongoing compliance, including complaint tracking, investigation, trending and reporting program.
- Direct quality program development with multiple functions (Operations, R&D, Sales & Marketing, external vendors) to assure adequate resources are available to meet project timelines.
- Organize and promote company-wide quality improvement efforts, including setting annual quality objectives.

ABOUT YOU
