The Opportunity:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating day-to-day facility operations and ensuring all scheduled events are executed smoothly and professionally. This position manages event scheduling and booking, monitors facility communications, fields customer inquiries, and ensures all facility spaces are prepared according to client requirements. This position also conducts pre-event walkthroughs with customers to verify that technical and A/V systems are functioning properly and meet event needs. This role involves a high level of comfort and professionalism when working witha military and government customers.

Responsibilities:

Facility & Event Operations


  • Manage the facility's event calendar and oversee scheduling logistics.


  • Coordinate event bookings, ensuring proper documentation and confirmation of customer requirements.


  • Maintain awareness of upcoming events and proactively prepare facility spaces accordingly.


  • Ensure facility readiness for meetings, trainings, and special events.


Customer Service & Communication


  • Monitor and respond to facility email communications in a timely and professional manner.


  • Field incoming phone calls and provide accurate information regarding event availability, policies, and services.


  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding event planning, facility use, and setup needs.


Event Setup & Execution


  • Ensure rooms and event spaces are arranged according to customer specifications, including seating layout, tables, signage, parking reservations, and equipment.


  • Coordinate with staff/vendors as needed to support event setup and breakdown.


  • Confirm all facility resources (keys, access, supplies, equipment) are available prior to event start time.


Technical & A/V Support Oversight


  • Conduct walkthroughs with customers prior to events to verify setup meets expectations.


  • Ensure A/V equipment, presentation systems, microphones, and other technical tools are functional.


  • Troubleshoot or coordinate troubleshooting of technical issues as needed to ensure event success.


Facility Monitoring & Standards


  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility environment.


  • Ensure safety protocols and facility procedures are followed.


  • Identify facility issues (maintenance needs, equipment concerns, supply shortages) and report or coordinate resolution.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience oran equivalent combination of education and experiencepursuant toFla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in program management, event coordination, customer service, or office operations.


  • Experience coordinating corporate, training, or community events.


  • Familiarity with event booking software or scheduling platforms.


  • Working knowledge of basic A/V equipment and event technology and basic troubleshooting knowledge for A/V and technical systems.


  • Comfort and ability to communicate with military and government customers.

Under the leadership of the Vice Provost for OUESS, the OUESS challenges students to become accomplished learners who can make meaningful connections among work, study, and community. We connect curricular and co-curricular offerings to support students in developing a strong foundation for success, during college and after. We do this through the efforts of our faculty, professional staff, and students, and we strive to create and maintain a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive educational and work environment. The JMHP is a unit of OUESS. Currently, the JMHP includes approximately 900 students selected for their curiosity, creativity, and interest in building a scholarly community across disciplinary boundaries. The JMHP offers cohorts of exceptional students the distinctive opportunity to pursue a premier honors experience at a leading STEM-focused global research institution. Students live in a select dorm with their JMHP peers and form a social community while they explore distinguished academic opportunities offered to JMHP students. Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate all administrative services within a small to moderate size campus unit or a part of the services function within a larger unit. Areas of responsibility can include administrative affairs associated with human resources, purchasing, budgets and financial records and general clerical support within the unit. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Risk Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for building an investment risk framework that allows us to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with our investment portfolios. You also will oversee the risk in portfolios related to our reinsurance trusts and other third-party managers.

As the Investment Risk Manager, you'll be required to have a deep understanding of investment risk principles and investment strategies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various departments across Securian Asset Management and its parent company, Securian Financial Group.

  • Collaborate with the investment, data, technology, and leadership teams to build an investment risk monitoring framework that will enable efficient monitoring of identified attributes at defined intervals.

  • Utilize the investment risk monitoring framework to monitor risks within specific asset classes and across the entire client portfolio.

Qualifications:

This role plays a key part in strengthening the small business community by bringing together entrepreneurs, partners, and organizations through programs, events, and collaborative initiatives that expand opportunity and drive business growth.

The role oversees a portfolio of programs designed to help small business owners grow through education, connections, and resources. These initiatives include accelerators, bootcamps, summits, workshops, and other learning experiences delivered from the Phoenix campus while supporting innovation programming across BBB’s Pacific Southwest region.

We’re looking for a results-focused leader who can hit the ground running and drive results, strengthening existing programs, increasing campus engagement and revenue, and building partnerships that bring more small business owners and organizations into the hub. 

This role is responsible for driving growth, engagement, and revenue for the ignite sparked by BBB campus while expanding BBB’s impact within the regional business community. Success will be reflected in stronger programs, increased campus engagement and utilization, and a growing network of partnerships that expand opportunities for small business owners.

Working closely with the Vice President of Innovation, the Director contributes to the strategic growth and long-term sustainability of BBB’s small business program portfolio through partnerships, sponsorship development, earned revenue opportunities, and grant-supported initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Activate and Grow the ignite sparked by BBB Campus

  • Drive revenue generation for the ignite sparked by BBB campus by expanding external events, partnerships, and strategic programming that support the financial sustainability and growth of the hub
  • Develop and maintain a dynamic calendar of events, workshops, educational programs, and community convenings that bring the business community into the campus
  • Increase engagement and utilization of the campus by cultivating partnerships, programs, and events that consistently attract organizations, leaders, and small business owners
  • Lead the planning and execution of workshops, networking events, educational sessions, and community gatherings
  • Oversee event logistics including scheduling, vendor coordination, budgeting, and on-site execution
