Service Engineer

Summary: Location: Texas, TX Duration: 4 Months Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment equipment Perform analytical bench top testing Collect water and process samples Manage chemicals, including forklift operations and chemical transfers Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts Create and maintain site paperwork, providing customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed Conduct mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation Consult with company management and operation teams Ensure contract compliance with volume and quality specifications Perform other duties as required Requirements: High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2 years’ experience in service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment Valid Driver’s License Required Skills: Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to meet all customer site requirements Experience in water treatment equipment maintenance is preferred Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel within the region as needed Preferred Skills: Bachelor's or associate degree in science/engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
