Job Title: Manufacturing/Process Engineer

Onsite Role

Responsibilities:

• Leads clinical build line, own process development deliverables such as process validation documentation, characterize process, support commercialization activity.
• Works cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing on complex projects to ensure project success.
• Consistently generates innovative and unique solutions to meet department goals.
• Successfully completes complex engineering work and contributes to new product development teams and product support, typically including the following activities: technology development, test of materials or products, preparation of specifications, Six Sigma, process study, process improvements, and report preparation.
• Selects process improvement techniques to solve complex problems and make sound equipment and process recommendations.
• Summarizes, analyzes, and draws conclusions from complex test results.
• Designs and prepares complex reports and communicates results to the technical community.
• Designs and coordinates complex engineering tests and experiments.
• Coordinates, manages, and documents project goals and progress and recommends appropriate revisions.
• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment.
• Completes and manages complex Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERA’s).
• Leads in the identification, implementation, and management of production goals.
• Trains, develops, and/or provides work direction to operators, technicians, and engineers.

Education/Experience:

• 5+ years of experience
• BS in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, BioMed)
• Knowledge of electropolishing preferred
• Experience with Keyence and Sensofar measurement technology

CNC Process Engineer

Location: Summit County

Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team and play a key role in improving machining processes and supporting production operations. This role focuses on CNC programming, multi-axis machining, process optimization, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced machining environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to support production and product launches
• Program CNC equipment and generate tool paths using CAD/CAM software
• Support multi-axis machining operations (5+ axis)
• Design and validate tooling, fixtures, and gages
• Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support on the production floor
• Maintain manufacturing methods, bills of materials, and labor standards in ERP systems
• Analyze production data and implement process improvements
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
• Strong experience with CNC programming and multi-axis machining
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
• Experience with AutoCAD Inventor or similar 3D modeling software
• Knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, tooling selection, and fixture design
• Vericut experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred but not required.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to support injection molding operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for mold set-ups, machine start-ups and shutdowns, troubleshooting, and maintaining stable, efficient molding processes.

The Process Technician partners closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently met. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, optimizing processes, and working in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, shut down, and pull injection molds according to established procedures
• Troubleshoot molding processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment to resolve quality or efficiency issues
• Monitor and maintain process parameters, cycle times, and product quality
• Support process validations, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate mold and machine status clearly during shift handoffs
• Partner with Maintenance and Tooling teams to resolve equipment or mold-related issues
• Train and support technicians, operators, and material handlers as needed
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures and standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in an injection molding or plastics manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve molding process issues
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and technologies

• Injection mold set-up and process optimization experience
• Knowledge of hot runner and cold runner mold systems
• Familiarity with scientific or decoupled molding principles

• Architect mission-focused solutions that integrate Iridium Mobile Satellite Services (voice, data, and IoT) with tactical radios, network infrastructure, mission applications, and cloud platforms to meet U.S. Government requirements for operations, cybersecurity, resiliency, and interoperability.
• Work directly with government agencies, partners, and internal cross-functional teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with Iridium’s initiatives
• Identify and integrate innovative technologies into existing systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• Serve as a technical advisor, providing guidance on system capabilities, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring optimal system performance

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the satellite or military communications industry
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues clearly and confidently, and recognize and adapt to different communication techniques
• Comfortable speaking in front of audiences (small working groups and at industry conferences)
• Can easily build meaningful relationships with others, including senior leadership outside of your own department, and is comfortable providing constructive feedback to your team members and management
• Ability to support relationships and network internally and externally to facilitate business objectives
• Be able to analyze a situation or problem, generate effective solutions, and see those solutions through to completion

Work Environment:
