- Load solid waste, yard waste and/or recyclables into the rear or side of waste collection vehicle.
- Operate equipment on truck to compact trash into vehicle.
- Operate truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-induced mechanical failures.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor daily.
- Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately.
- Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
- Follow all safety standards and equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all federal, state/provincial, local and company rules on safety and vehicle operation.
- Maintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle.
- Identify, and tag prohibited waste items and remove the items from the waste cart or can.
- Manage assigned Helper(s) if applicable.
- Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
- Ensure that all required personal protective equipment be worn at all times (i.e., gloves, reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.)
- Report all accidents or incidents to supervisor(s) immediately
- Exhibit a professional demeanor, manner and appearance at all times (i.e., meeting customers and/or the general public while on route or in uniform.)
- Maintain accurate records of services performed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drives a rear-load, split body, Curotto, or automated-side load truck along designated routes to collect waste and take to post-collection facilities.
• As route conditions require, driver will assist helper(s) in loading solid waste into truck hopper.
• Utilize helpers while backing up according to Company policy.

• Maneuver truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces, using mirrors to back up.
• Uses a key map and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follows safe operating practices, including lock out/tag out procedures to ensure proper operation of the truck.
• Monitors operations to detect loose debris, using mirrors or direct sight and/or listening for debris falling onto truck during dumping operation; visually scans customer site before and after dumping.

Complete required route/productivity sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports and other reports, as required. Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner. This position will work closely with internal Subject Matter Experts from the Elections, Commercial Recordings, and Securities divisions to ensure the public receives timely, accurate, and Elections compliance information.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience with Granicus govAccess or a similar enterprise-level government CMS.
Familiarity with Nevada-specific election procedures, such as the Effective Absentee System for Elections and Voter Roll Maintenance protocols.
Proven ability to manage content under Nevada State Web Style Standards and federal ADA laws.
Absolute accuracy in handling important candidate dates and disclosure reporting requirements where errors could have legal implications.
Minimum of three (3) years proven experience with a strong understanding of user research, interaction design, and visual design principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES Election Cycle Support: Execute rapid updates for the 2026 Election Cycle, including posting candidate filing locations, voter registration deadlines, and polling place data.
Granicus Platform Management: Perform hands-on configuration and content entry using the Granicus govAccess CMS, ensuring all pages utilize standard Nevada government templates.
SME Liaison: Translate complex legislative updates and election regulations provided by the Elections Division into voter-friendly web content.
ADA and Language Access: Maintain strict adherence to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and ensure the availability of information in required languages (Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Korean).
Portal Integration: Coordinate content updates related to the project to ensure a seamless user experience between the main site and specialized applications.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Minimum of eight (8) years Microsoft SQL Server experience with strong knowledge and experience on Microsoft SQL Server technology architecture including high availability, encryption at rest, and log shipping.
Skilled in the installation, setup, patch administration, maintenance, and upgrading of SQL Server databases.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and Microsoft SQL Server 2022.
Proficiency in performance monitoring, instance optimization, and SQL query tuning.
Experience performing hot and cold backups.
MUST have strong understanding of database hardening, security administration, and security-related tools.
Practice reviewing and implementing monthly security updates.
Active management of production database environments and risk reduction.
Strong communication and analytical abilities with readiness to provide future guidance on database technology implementation.
Ability to collaborate with multiple development teams and software vendors for issue resolution and planning.
MUST have the capability to conduct root cause analysis of issues and deliver solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES Primary responsibility is for the day-to-day management of numerous SQL server databases and instances on Microsoft Windows environments including Microsoft SQL server 2019 and 2022.
Research, plan, recommend, and implement patches, upgrades and installations for Microsoft SQL Server technology products, including PSU patches.
Responsible for monitoring database availability, statistics and other application specific parameters to maintain performance of the system.
Responsible for capacity planning.
Develop and tune database environments to ensure performance and service delivery expectations are met.
Participate in the resolution of critical and complex design and implementation issues across projects.
Write shell scripts, PL/SQL, and Perl scripts as needed.
Provide advanced database services to meet the needs of the business.
Provide mentoring to less experienced DBAs.
Ability to support linked servers for other data sources, Oracle for example.
