Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) - CFY Program Available
RCM Health Care Services are hiring Clinical Fellows (CFYs) that can work in a pediatric setting in all 5 boroughs of NYC to provide speech-language therapy. Our pediatric settings consist of DOE Schools and Therapy Clinics. We have full-time, part-time, and weekend work for all settings. We also have ongoing, contract, and coverage assignments available.
Experienced and new graduate providers, and providers that need sponsorship are welcomed. We have a wonderful mentorship program and clinical supervisors that are eager to assist you.
Clinical Fellowship Year Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy in a pediatric setting.
- Document session notes manually or in an electronic format.
- Complete IEP and end of the year process reports.
- Communicate therapy plan to staff members and all other necessary parties.
Clinical Fellowship Year Experience
- No experience needed - mentorship and supervision available!
- Provider needing sponsorship are welcomed.
Clinical Fellowship Year Salary
- $56-$68/hr. (depending on setting and location)

/nHours: caseload building position, In Person Services,
/nFrequency/duration: Student = 2x/45 min each per week + 30 min per month consult
/nPaid 30 minutes TOTAL for pre case review same week 1st session takes place, per student
/nPaid $60/hr direct + indirect services
/nCancellations less than 4 hours notice and no shows are compensated for full session
/nPaid $60/hr for IEP Meeting attendance (done virtually)
/nProgress notes paid (quarterly) per student
/nRound trip mileage reimbursed at IRS federal rate
/nPaid $60/hr for meetings scheduled with Special Education staff

/nSessions cannot be held on the weekend or during school holidays, breaks, or any other non-school day for students. Sessions must conclude by 8:00 p.m. Sessions MUST be held in person, at students home or mutual meeting location.

The APRN/Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive primary health care including health promotion and disease prevention activities for patients. The incumbent provides specialized care in collaboration with department physicians and refers patients to consultants for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment procedures as appropriate.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have successfully completed an approved nurse practitioner program.
- Possess valid State of Connecticut licensure
- Have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration
- Have a deep knowledge of nursing theory and practice or physician assistant theory and practice coupled with a record of providing high quality, comprehensive, professional clinical care to patients according to established standards, protocols and practices.
- Possess the ability to provide cultural competent care to a diverse patient population in a collaborative environment.
- Have skill taking medical history, assessing medical conditions and interpreting findings.
- Have a track record of proven success communicating effectively with patients, peers, and other stakeholders both orally and in writing.
- Have demonstrated ability to maintain timely, thorough and accurate written clinical documentation
- Be able to make evidence-based clinical decisions and comply with department and organizational quality measures
- Be comfortable using electronic health record and other computer systems
- Be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
