The Division of Geriatrics, Hospice, and Palliative Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is recruiting for one full-time faculty member in the Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in Geriatric Medicine and as Co-Director of the Healthy Aging in a Digital World Initiative. Faculty in the Clinical X series is expected to engage in professional competence and activity, teaching, research and creative work, and University/public service. Faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series are expected to engage in teaching, professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and University/public service.

The Co-Director of the Healthy Aging in a Digital World Initiative from the School of Medicine will work in partnership with the Co-Director of the Healthy Aging in a Digital World Initiative from the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, and will build upon strong connections with the Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC), Family Caregiving Institute (FCI), the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC), and the College of Engineering (COE) to advance research discerning optimal supports for older adults with dementia and other complex health care needs. The primary purpose of this is to build capacity and advance research and collaborations that improve the health and well-being of older adults. Healthy Aging in a Digital World (HADW) is a major research effort promoting health and independence for older adults through accessible and age-friendly innovative technology solutions. These initiatives bring together an array of transdisciplinary collaborators across the UC Davis comprehensive university and engage a wide variety of community groups and individuals, offering valuable connections for investigators associated with HADW.

Geriatric Medicine Faculty responsibilities include inpatient and/or outpatient clinical care; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; university/public service; and regular attendance at scheduled meetings and CME activities. The incumbents should be able to provide expert clinical care in the field of geriatric medicine. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a diverse group of colleagues depending on their clinical area of focus. Multidisciplinary collaboration is expected for consultative ambulatory practice with support from physical therapy, pharmacy, nursing and social work. Inpatient geriatrics consultative work to support orthopedics, trauma service and hospital medicine is also available.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications  (required at time of application)

  • Must possess and maintain a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree or equivalent degree.

Additional qualifications  (required at time of start)

  • Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and board certified in Geriatrics

  • Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in California

  • Demonstrated experience in outpatient and/or inpatient geriatric medicine, with strong skills in symptom management, serious illness communication, and complex care coordination

  • Interest or experience in medical education, quality improvement, and/or clinical research, especially within an academic health system

  • Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive care and improving access and outcomes for diverse patient populations

  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative, technology-enabled solutions that promote health, independence, and quality of life for older adults, including those living with dementia and complex health care needs which could include smart homes, wearables, telehealth/telemonitoring.

  • Ability to foster and sustain partnerships with community stakeholders, including health systems, post-acute care providers, skilled nursing facilities, and memory care organizations, to strengthen translational research and real-world impact.

  • In coordination with the Development team, must have the ability to secure and steward extramural funding from philanthropic gifts, competitive grants, and industry partnerships to ensure the growth and sustainability of Healthy Aging in a Digital World.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager will be responsible for two primary functions: Capital Raising and Sponsor Servicing/Delivery.


I. Sponsorship Sales & Capital Raising

  • Strategy & Prospecting: Develop and execute a comprehensive global sponsorship strategy targeting large multinational corporations, financial institutions, technology leaders, investors and service providers
  • Outbound Sales & Pitching: Conduct aggressive outbound sales activities to identify and qualify high-potential sponsors whose strategic goals align with the SWC platform.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling, customized sponsorship proposals and pitch decks tailored to specific corporate objectives (e.g., brand awareness, executive networking, corporate innovation, deal flow access).
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiation and contract finalization processes to close sponsorship deals, achieving regional targets.


II. Sponsor Servicing & Delivery

  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for committed sponsors, nurturing long-term relationships and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Asset Delivery & Fulfillment: Oversee the flawless execution and delivery of all contracted sponsorship assets, including on-site branding and signage, executive speaking slots, etc. for the regional events & at the Grand Finale
  • Logistics Coordination: Work closely with our executive team to manage sponsor needs, production schedules, and logistical requirements before, during, and after the event.
  • Post-Event Reporting: Prepare comprehensive ROI and recap reports for sponsors, documenting the fulfillment of entitlements, brand impressions, and measurable value delivered to secure renewals for the following year.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of successful experience in sponsorship sales, business development, corporate partnerships, or fundraising, preferably within the events, media, technology, or finance sectors.

You will support the Venue Operations & Catering teams in the day-to-day operation by performing certain tasks, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of premium lounges, ensuring all catering services are executed to the highest standard.
  • Complete and maintain daily KPI tracking worksheets, capturing product movement, service metrics, and operational notes for reporting.
  • Serve as the primary on-the-floor contact for lounge clients, responding quickly to service needs, resolving issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Mitigate operational challenges by coordinating with catering teams, runners, and back-of-house support to ensure smooth service throughout each match day.
  • Communicate key updates, challenges, and insights to the Venue Catering Manager, providing clear and timely reporting.
  • Ensure lounge setups meet premium standards, including product presentation, cleanliness, and readiness prior to each event.
  • Uphold all venue, tournament, and safety policies throughout operations.



Experience/Qualifications Needed:

  • 3–5 years of experience in the catering or hospitality industry, with a focus on multi-unit operations, and staff leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, Food Service, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and hands-on experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, DocuSign, and Smartsheet, with the ability to manage administrative and operational workflows efficiently.
  • Exceptional organizational and process management skills, with a proven ability to follow structured procedures and maintain operational consistency.
  • Maintains composure under pressure, consistently delivering high performance and sound decision-making in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience resolving conflicts and collaborating across diverse teams.
  • Highly reliable with excellent time management, a strong work ethic, and a proactive, motivated approach to responsibilities.
  • Flexibility and positive attitude to work long days, evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation (modify based on country form of measurement)

We are seeking a highly organized and service-focused Guest Experience Supervisor to support the delivery of the hospitality program at AT&T Stadium for the FIFA World Cup™. This role will report to the Guest Experience Manager, and will focus on on-site execution, staff supervision, and vendor coordination to ensure a seamless and premium guest journey.



The Guest Experience Supervisor will play a key role in implementing hospitality operations, supporting access control procedures, assisting with guest services execution, and ensuring readiness across hospitality areas at the assigned venue.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Venue Manager and Guest Experience Manager with on-site execution of the Hospitality Program.
  • Supervise assigned Guest Experience staff during match days and event operations.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors and suppliers to ensure services are delivered according to established standards.
  • Assist with implementation of hospitality services across lounges, VIP areas, and designated hospitality spaces.
  • Support access control procedures, including guest tier verification and zone monitoring.
  • Ensure hospitality areas are operationally ready prior to match kick-off.
  • Assist with the distribution of hospitality gifting and staff uniforms.
  • Support execution of approved entertainment activations within hospitality areas.
  • Serve as an on-site point of contact for Guest Experience staff and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Support guest feedback collection and post-match reporting.
  • Maintain alignment with FIFA brand standards and established hospitality service guidelines.
  • Participate in cross-functional coordination meetings to ensure operational alignment.



Experience / Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, event operations, or guest services (experience in sports or live events preferred).
  • Experience supervising small teams or leading front-line staff.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with vendors or service providers is an asset.
  • Comfortable working long hours during event operations, including match days.
  • Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Must have existing right-to-work in the country in which the venue is located.
