JOB OVERVIEW:

The Production Supervisor takes responsibility for supervising the production for the designated shift. The Shift Supervisor will either make decisions on their own or have the judgment to call the appropriate support personnel if needed. In addition to supervising the facility, the Supervisor works hand-in-hand with the Production Manager, Inventory Control Specialist, Warehouse team, Maintenance and the broader team, as appropriate, to keep the departments running efficiently. This position requires organizational and detail skills, a problem-solving approach, and a firm grasp of production & packaging processes. This position will interface with a highly controlled and automated production line, so understanding systems, HMI’s, and quick-decision-making is important.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee production operations at the facility, ensuring that all production goals are being met.
  • Manage operational activities to maximize production and decrease down-time.
  • Continually monitor procedures to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are followed, providing feedback on deviations.
  • Serve as point of contact for health and safety concerns and incidents during shift.
  • Continually monitor procedures to ensure that all safety procedures are followed and identify new hazards as operations change. Report any safety issues to the Safety Coordinator or Production Manager.
  • Coordinate with Quality to ensure that all sanitation and pre-requisite activities are performed correctly before, during, and after production runs.
  • Continually monitor that all HAACP and GMP’s are being followed. Investigate and escalate any quality issues with on-shift Quality team and escalate to the Quality personnel or Production Manager as appropriate.
  • Work with the on-shift maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues that could impact production.
  • Ensure that all production and quality related paperwork is being filled out correctly with accuracy and on-schedule.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities which include developing team members, building an effective shift team, coaching staff and evaluating performance of shift employees.
  • Responsible for the day to day direction and coordination of the shift employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws including approving vacation time and filling out transaction forms.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.


JOB EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+years of supervisory experience.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Bi-lingual preferred but not mandatory (English and Spanish).
  • Must have manufacturing experience, food manufacturing and automation a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Must be a problem-solver who uses good judgement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook

EDUCATION:

Position Purpose: Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers’ products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company – building lasting relationships with our customers! The Driver, Formula CDL-A is responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive and drop routes for the purpose of delivering and/or unloading food and food related products to customers in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
  • Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspects tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Reports all safety issues and/or repairs required.
  • Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Immediately reports all safety hazards. Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
  • Performs count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded.
  • Checks and completes in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight.
  • Moves tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
  • Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
  • Unloads products from the trailer, transports items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy.
  • Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
  • Collects money (cash or checks) where required. Loads customer returns on to trailer and secures trailer doors.
  • Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.
  • Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork. Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
  • Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
  • At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
Six (6) months commercial driving experience
Valid CDL-A
Must be 21+ years of age
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location

Machine Programming & Production Support

  • Program SMT pick-and-place machines (component libraries, feeder setup, placement files)
  • Generate and optimize solder paste printer programs (alignment, offsets, stencil parameters)
  • Program 3D SPI inspection parameters and board models
  • Develop AOI inspection programs and tuning criteria
  • Support X-ray inspection programming for void analysis and BTC/QFN inspection
  • Create and validate Flying Probe test programs for electrical verification
  • Assist in NPI builds by debugging programs and optimizing cycle time
  • Maintain component libraries and machine databases
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering to optimize placement strategy and throughput

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in PCB CAM and SMT manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with CAM350, Genesis, or equivalent CAM software
  • Hands-on experience programming SMT equipment (printer, pick-and-place, AOI)
  • Familiarity with X-ray and Flying Probe programming environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of PCB stack-ups, thermal materials, heavy copper routing
  • Experience with high-mix / low-to-medium volume production environments
  • Strong documentation and attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine programs and support production ramp-up

Job Summary

The role of our Air Logistics Manager on Duty involves directly supervising a busy team of 50+ Airport Logistics and Airport Ramp associates who move packages by hand and pushcart in and around our indoor/outdoor facility that is located on airport property. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves job that supports a talented team of professionals who ensure packages arrive on time to destinations across the United States. This is a cross-dock operation; our role is to facilitate the daily flow of packages from aircraft to warehouse to trucks with no/minimal storage. Our indoor facility is an open-air environment and not temperature-controlled, and you may work in or around aircraft. The ALM leads the team following our structured processes and guidelines, keeping the safety of all our team members first. The ALM is a hands-on role in moving packages throughout the facility and works with the team to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, and quality exceed standards for their assigned shift. Our ALMs also maintain and control all required aspects of the operation during their shift in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation.

  • Lead a diverse workforce in the sorting, scanning and movement of small packages and containers in both a warehouse and airport ramp environment
  • Supervise the unloading and loading of aircraft and trucks in a widely dispersed area
  • Ensure the removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading
  • Lead the preparation of packages for sortation and load onto containers
  • Oversee the weighing, labeling, or make/break-down of gaylords or air-containers
  • Provide clear, direct instruction to team members in order to maintain strict guidelines in regards to process in a positive manner
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, and customers.
  • Interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to operate warehouse/ramp equipment and hold necessary licensing (if applicable).
  • Ability to perform additional assigned tasks as needed
  • Minimum Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED or international equivalent.
    • Two to five years of previous operations management or supervisory experience in a warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environment.
    • Must be comfortable managing execution and adherence to standardized work processes
    • Proven leadership experience and responsibility of teams consisting of 30 – 50 personnel.
    • Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off. We have a Peak Season that may require longer hours.
    • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
    • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable.

    Preferred Skills

    • Previous logistics, manufacturing, warehousing experience that relied heavily on managing a structured process with strict deadlines
    • Familiarity with personal computer software is helpful.
    • Independent judgment and decision-making skills are required.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
