Attends training session on imaging equipment maintenance and technology in order to keep up-to-date on technological and medical equipment advances.  Conducts in-service training sessions to radiology clinical/professional staff on proper use and safety of advanced radiology equipment.  Also, provides assistance and training to Biomedical Equipment Techs I, IIand  Senior Biomed as assigned.

Provides on-call service coverage after normal business hours on a rotating basis, as assigned.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

Minimum of Associates of Applied Sciences Degree in related field of medical electronics, electronic technology, imaging service technology or equivalent related military training and experience.  Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) preferred but not required.

Five or more years of equivalent experience performing corrective and planned maintenance on nuclear medicine, diagnostic x-ray, therapeutic x-ray, ultrasound, or radiation therapy equipment, including but not limited to, R/F, Vascular/Specials, CT SIM, Mammography Units, PACS, Nuclear Cameras, Cath Lab, CT, etc.  Related experience operating complex testing equipment, including but not limited to high Voltage Bleeder or Dynalyzer, Densitometer, Non-Invasive KVp meter, etc.

Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair in such areas as CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, diagnostic x-ray, therapeutic x-ray, ultrasound, or radiation therapy equipment.

Must possess working knowledge of radiation physics, medical terminology, medical instrumentation, anatomy, physiology, imaging service techniques, 21 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations).

Must possess broad knowledge and understanding of OSHA, NFPA, The Joint Commission, EOC, FDA and other specific regulations and standards pertaining to clinical and radiology equipment service and repair.

Maintain up-to-date understanding of The Joint Commission and NFPA standards as well as state and federal regulations.

Ability to analyze and interpret complex information related to malfunctioning imagining equipment as described by clinical staff, then determines equipment operational condition.  Follow complex written instructions, perform tasks and document actions taken to restore service.

Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

The SBA must possess excellent communication skills, a proven record of delivering meaningful results, and the ability to work in an Agile environment. Furthermore, the SBA should be familiar with the data systems commonly used by Child Protective Services.



Key Responsibilities:


• Ensure the Objectives of the Project are Satisfied

o The SBA will ensure the State’s objectives of protecting children and reducing the use of State resources are maintained throughout the proof-of-concept.

o The SBA will add to the project objectives based on requests from the State.

• Lead Exploratory Interviews, Discovery Sessions, and Workshops

o Organize exploratory interviews, discovery sessions, and workshops with State representatives to understand and document current workflows and shortcomings.

o Identify key stakeholders and document their specific views on the current intake process.

o Work with technical team members to capture the technical implications of the shortcomings.

• Contribute to the Development of a New Intake Process

o Participate in discussions related to the development of the new intake process to ensure the objectives of the State are being met.

o Provide workflow insight; Reconcile the current workflow with the proposed revised workflow. Identify issues and benefits from the user’s perspective.

o Contribute to the development of key metrics associated with measuring the prototype’s efficacy.

Required Skills/Experience:


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.

• Proven expertise delivering CCWIS solutions, including but not limited to, intake processes, call center operations processes, and case actioning.

We are looking for 1–2 Lab Technicians to support mechanical and thermophysical materials testing as we accelerate hardware development.


What You’ll Do


You will support hands-on testing of structural and high-temperature materials critical to reactor performance.


Mechanical Property Testing

  • Tensile testing
  • Compression testing
  • Friction testing
  • 3-point and 4-point bending


Thermophysical Property Testing

  • Thermal conductivity testing (Laser Flash Analysis – LFA)
  • Coefficient of thermal expansion (Dilatometry – DIL)


Lab Operations

  • Operate and maintain Instron and other high-value testing equipment
  • Perform precision sample preparation and measurements
  • Follow detailed lab procedures and safety protocols
  • Ensure high data quality and documentation standards
  • Support fast test turnaround while maintaining rigor


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering discipline
  • OR
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a materials testing laboratory
  • Experience running mechanical test equipment (e.g., Instron or equivalent)
  • Comfort working with high-value, sensitive lab instrumentation
  • Strong attention to detail in measurements and documentation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hardware environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting both mechanical and thermophysical testing
  • Familiarity with LFA and dilatometry equipment
  • Ability to analyze test data and write clear, structured test reports

This position plays a key role in supporting our engineering, fabrication, and sales teams by producing accurate technical drawings, assisting with product development, and supporting manufacturing processes.

Position Responsibilities

· Create accurate AutoCAD drawings and layouts from sketches, parts, assemblies, and machinery.

· Reverse engineer components and assemblies by measuring physical parts and translating them into detailed CAD drawings.

· Generate manufacturing drawings and documentation to support fabrication and production.

· Work closely with Sales, Drafting, and Fabrication departments to clarify design requirements and resolve technical questions.
