- Call Schedule: Weekends; 24-hr call - Fri(730a) - Mon(530a) including surgeries in OR
- Patient Volume: 14-16 (OP)
- No. of Surgeries: 500 per year/10 per week
- Admissions: 2 per week (IP)
- Support Staff: Complete staff in the hospital & typical support medical assistants & RN (as necessary) in the clinic.
- Duties/Required Skills: Able to respond to traumas in the ED; Willing to work in a clinic office setting in addition to taking hospital call.
- Required Procedures: - Diagnostic Colonscoples, Screening Colonscoples, Cholecystectomy, Hernia repair w/ mesh, Diagnostic EGD, Excision of breast, Repair abdominal wall w/ synthetic substitute, Appendectomy, Skin Excision & Hemorrhoidectomy.
- EMR: Meditech (IP), eCW (OP)
- Other Info: Will accept for May/June start if OR license is ALREADY in process.
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements:
- Active OR License/In-process
- BC
- ACLS, BLS
- DEA
- Fellowship
- Self-Query NPDB report (obtained in the last 30 days)
- Willing to work in a clinic office setting in addition to taking hospital call.
