RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

/n

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
/n• Every other weekend schedule with holidays as needed
/n• Patient ratio of 6:1 for all shifts
/n• Float required when census is down across all Cone Health facilities
/n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
/n• First time travelers accepted
/n• BLS certification required
/n• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
/n• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
/n• EPIC charting system experience required
/n• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
/n• Care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients
/n• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV management, wound care, feeding tube care, blood product administration, and various medical equipment management
/n• 48-hour orientation period
/n• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
/n• Must complete compliance requirements by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
