This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of ready-mix trucks. Deliveries will be made in both industrial and residential areas. The driver is responsible for the efficient working condition and cleanliness of equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations and GFI procedures and protocols.
- Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications.
- Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
- Verifying delivery of items with the customer and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money (cash or checks) when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid CDL license.

The microbiology Lab Tech II supports the plant by promptly plating and reading samples all throughout the cheese-making process in a high-volume environment while maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked lab.

* Pick up samples at various locations throughout the plant and sort them for plating.
* Prepare samples for plating: weighing, diluting, stomaching, heating, etc.

* Read and accurately record various types of plates.
