Quad is seeking Distribution Technicians (Forklift Operators)3rd shift to join our  Midwest Commingle Center in Waukesha, WI ! 

The wage range is $17.50 - $19.00+ depending on experience.

Distribution Technicians are responsible for the following:

• Freight -loading and unloading of finished products and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrappers using a forklift.
• Inventory control- maintaining accurate inventories with the use of a PC and RF bar code scanning system.
• Warehousing - supplying machines with materials needed

Required Qualifications:

• Good verbal and reading comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Candidates must have average to above-average computer skills and/or prior forklift experience in a manufacturing setting 
• Ability to work 3rd shift (12 am-8am)  
• Ability to work a split shift; this is not a Mon.- Fri. schedule, you will have 5 scheduled work days and 2 days off per week – options will be discussed during the in-person interview

We are currently seeking part-time General Manufacturing employees to grow with us! A general manufacturing position includes the opportunity to learn the printing process from the ground up and advance in a progressive environment.

Shift Schedule: Days/Nights minimum of 8-hours and max of 12-hours 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * The ability to take stacks (average 10-30 lbs) using repetitive hand/wrist movement, off of the end of a machine (2-4 feet high) and stack product on skids from floor level to 5 feet high using repetitive bending and twisting.
* The ability to remove skids (weighing up to 2400 lbs) by using a Big Joe and Hand Truck
* Ability to lift stacks of end boards (30 lbs) as needed
* Lift rolls of banding strap (60 lbs) as needed
* Moving logs as needed without lifting them (stand them up or lie them down)
* Ability to adjust stacker using a touch screen
* Ability to use a vibrating jogging table
* The ability to take stacks of loose signatures ranging (5-30 lbs) off a pallet of up to 48" in height and transfer to table top work surface 42", and then place into a collator hopper.
* Ability to transfer completed bundles of product (10-30 lbs) off machine conveyor and stack onto pallets or into mail bags that potentially weigh from 5 to 75 lbs. Then place mail bags onto pallet.
* The ability to use a hand jack or motorized Raymond or Big Joe lift.
* The ability to use a computer, scissors, and tape gun.
* At least 18-years of age or older

Shift Schedule: Rotating Days/Nights 12-hours 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am

* The ability to take stacks (average 10-30 lbs) using repetitive hand/wrist movement, off of the end of a machine (2-4 feet high) and stack product on skids from floor level to 5 feet high using repetitive bending and twisting.
* The ability to remove skids (weighing up to 2400 lbs) by using a Big Joe and Hand Truck
* Ability to lift stacks of end boards (30 lbs) as needed
* Lift rolls of banding strap (60 lbs) as needed
* Moving logs as needed without lifting them (stand them up or lie them down)
* Ability to adjust stacker using a touch screen
* Ability to use a vibrating jogging table
* The ability to take stacks of loose signatures ranging (5-30 lbs) off a pallet of up to 48" in height and transfer to table top work surface 42", and then place into a collator hopper.
* Ability to transfer completed bundles of product (10-30 lbs) off machine conveyor and stack onto pallets or into mail bags that potentially weigh from 5 to 75 lbs. Then place mail bags onto pallet.
* The ability to use a hand jack or motorized Raymond or Big Joe lift.
* The ability to use a computer, scissors, and tape gun.
* At least 18-years of age or older
* A solid work history
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently
* The ability to read and write; possess good verbal and written comprehension
* The flexibility to work including days, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays

Processing gravure cylinders, General maintenance and cleanup of the production areas.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO
* Load and unload platemaking materials to and from equipment to bend all size plates for press
* Maintain platemaking equipment ( Including but not limited to daily and weekly processor maintenance, loading or trouble shooting errors.
* Check plates / Cylinders for Quality
* Track or move job components through production using Smart tools
* Cylinder stripping, electro-plating , engraving
* Load & unload, store and retrieve gravure cylinders using automated Work in Progress (W.I.P.) & Long Term Storage (LTS) systems and overhead cranes following appropriate work instructions
* Misc production duties, including cleaning and inspecting cylinders
* General cleanup of the area ( 6's )Experience:

Quad is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to work at our Sussex, Wisconsin location!
Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various pieces of manufacturing equipment using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments. This position will visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions and keep equipment operational. The Maintenance Mechanic plays an essential role in providing safe and reliable equipment for manufacturing that produces quality products for our customers.
Safely and properly perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance procedures on all manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing of precision machinery and auxiliary equipment, utilizing blueprints, schematics, manufacturer specifications, and manuals.
Emphasize proactive measures to minimize reactive maintenance.
Maintain and repair mechanical systems including but not limited to: Gear Boxes, Drive Shafts, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Belt Drives, Bearings, Gas Trains, and Clutches.
Follow safety instructions while performing tasks and effectively communicating with operators, crew members, and management.
May also perform some basic welding, machining, and other mechanical tasks.
Experience in safety practices such as LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Works, Ladder & Lifts, and PIV operation.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment, with an understanding of the urgency of equipment downtime.
Basic knowledge of precision test and calibration equipment to perform preventative maintenance.
Basic understanding maintenance tooling, best practices, predictive tooling, greasing and lubrication practices.
Ability to understand and follow instructions, troubleshoot effectively and respond quickly to solve equipment malfunctions.
Must be able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. 
Paid relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates 100+ miles from the plant.  Maintenance Mechanic – Wage ranges from $24.75- $40.00 / hour
