We are currently seeking a Process Engineer to support and lead high-volume assembly operations with a strong emphasis on process optimization, automation, and Lean manufacturing. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:

As a Process Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and sustain assembly processes aligned with quality, productivity, and cost targets

• Identify and implement automation opportunities including robotics, vision systems, and material handling solutions

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, SMED, and Value Stream Mapping

• Partner cross-functionally with Design, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to launch new products and processes into production

• Analyze manufacturing KPIs (cycle time, OEE, scrap, downtime) and drive corrective actions

• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (DMAIC, 8D, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis) to resolve process issues

• Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions, PFMEAs, control plans, and process flow diagrams

• Evaluate new equipment and technologies; build business cases and support capital projects from concept through implementation

• Champion Lean culture by training, mentoring, and engaging team members at all levels

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across all process engineering activities

Qualifications / Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume assembly environment

• Proven experience with automation integration and Lean manufacturing principles

• Strong knowledge of assembly tooling, fixtures, and workstation design

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with statistical analysis tools (Minitab or similar)

• Solid understanding of manufacturing KPIs, Six Sigma fundamentals, and process validation

• Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred:

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification

• Experience with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, or MES platforms

• Exposure to multi-site or cross-cultural manufacturing environments

Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is hiring Gastroenterologists to join their growing employed physician group in Venice and North Port, Florida . We are looking for Fellowship-Trained physicians in General GI, Interventional Endoscopy and GI Hepatology.

The Gastroenterology practice was developed in 2020 and has expanded to 13 Board-Certified Gastroenterologists and 15 Advanced Practice Providers along with a dedicated team of clinical and administrative staff at each location.

The group currently has two practice locations in Sarasota and Venice, and the Sarasota location includes a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center and an outpatient clinic. The Venice office is located in the Medical Office Building on the campus of SMH-Venice hospital, and we are opening a $12 million Endoscopy and Digestive Health Outpatient Center in January 2028. The new 17,000 sq. ft endoscopy center will include 24 exam rooms, four (4) procedural suites and pre-and post procedural spaces with the latest endoscopic technology.

Additionally, we will be opening a new 100+ bed acute-care hospital in North Port in 2028 with the ability to quickly grow to 200+ beds.

Process Technician – ALD Oxide | Night Shift | R&D Lab Environment

We’re hiring a Process Technician to support advanced semiconductor R&D operations in a cleanroom setting. This is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a passion for hands-on work in a high-tech environment.

Location

• Tualatin OR (onsite role)

Schedule

• Shift: Front-end nights (Sunday–Tuesday + alternating Saturdays)
• Hours: 4:30 PM – 4:30 AM
• Training: 6 weeks on Thursday–Saturday + alternating Wednesdays, 4:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate wafer processing and metrology tools in a Class 10 cleanroom
• Follow documented procedures and engineering instructions
• Maintain lab cleanliness and safety standards
• Document results and communicate clearly via email and internal systems
• Perform basic troubleshooting and send daily shift passdowns
• Walk 3–8 miles/day and lift/carry ~20 lbs regularly

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred)
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and general computer skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Proven job stability and ability to adapt to changing priorities

The work will be done onsite full-time in Clayton, NC, with potential flexibility to work occasionally from Cary, NC or Sanford, NC after training. Job Summary

This role focuses on improving production efficiency, validating quality standards, and strengthening demand-to-capacity alignment across internal teams and suppliers. The engineer will analyze operational data, develop workflow improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support stable, scalable manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys combining technical analysis with leadership and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Study time, motion, methods, and production rates to improve efficiency and establish standards

• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical data to support quality and reliability goals

• Analyze production records and logs to verify compliance with quality specifications

• Support planning of work assignments based on performance, capacity, schedules, and anticipated delays

• Develop charts, graphs, and reports to illustrate workflow, layouts, material handling, and utilization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

• 5–7 years of relevant engineering or manufacturing experience

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

• Experience with engineering software and tools such as CAD or similar applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain planning, capacity management, or manufacturing optimization

• Knowledge of Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving techniques

• Experience collaborating with suppliers or external partners

• Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification
