The Role
As a General Manager at Pret, you are the hero of the shop. You oversee all aspects of shop operations from staffing and scheduling to inventory management, ensuring the business runs efficiently, profitably, and with heart. You are responsible for driving sales and profitability while creating a positive, inclusive, and high-energy environment where both guests and team members thrive.
Our Managers are our in-shop Heroes. They protect the things that make Pret by keeping standards high, spirits high, and guests happy. When the shop gets busy, you lead from the front, whether that means rolling up your sleeves at the coffee machine (with training, of course) or diving into the P&L to improve margins.
Key Responsibilities
Own Full Shop Performance
- Take full accountability for shop-level P&L performance, including sales growth, labor productivity, food cost, and waste control
- Drive strong transaction growth and operational efficiency
- Analyze performance trends and take decisive action to improve results
- Operate with urgency to close performance gaps and deliver against targets
Build and Develop High-Performing Teams
- Recruit, hire, and develop Assistant General Managers, Managers in Training, and hourly team members
- Create a culture of accountability, warmth, and high performance
- Conduct structured performance conversations and talent reviews
- Identify and develop future leaders to build a strong internal bench
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experience
- Model Pret’s standards of hospitality on the shop floor
- Create a consistently warm, fast, and personal guest experience
- Coach in real time to improve service behaviors and guest engagement
- Act quickly to resolve guest concerns and protect the brand
Operational Excellence and Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to Pret’s recipes, food preparation standards, and product specifications
- Maintain high-quality, fresh food production throughout the day, minimizing waste while protecting availability
- Lead daily and weekly sales forecasting to accurately plan food production and labor
- Use historical data, sales trends, and upcoming promotions to optimize production levels
- Monitor waste and variance reporting, taking corrective action to improve forecasting accuracy

Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5+ years of management experience or equivalent leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments
- Proven P&L ownership and financial accountability
- Experience developing and promoting internal talent
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-volume, fast-paced operations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds; bend, reach overhead, squat, kneel, and go up and down stairs as needed; safely maneuver through tight or compact spaces; operate restaurant equipment and handle tools such as tongs, pots, and pans with dexterity; work in environments ranging from hot to cold, including near open flames and occasional outdoor conditions; maintain close, distance, and peripheral vision; communicate continuously with team members; and work in a constant state of alertness while maintaining safe operations

Salary Range
- The pay range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000. Compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and the specific work location of New York, New York, United States. In addition, you will be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
Pilgrim Psychiatric Center (PPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as the Clinical Lead on their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The ACT team provides comprehensive care that is community-based and occurs in the individual’s home. The goal of the ACT team is to maintain care to the individual in their natural environment and reduce demand on emergency departments and inpatient hospital services. This position is based out of PPC’s Patchogue, NY clinic.
As a Psychiatrist on the ACT Team, you will have an approximate caseload of 68 patients who reside in Patchogue, NY and the surrounding area and will provide comprehensive, patient centered, and recovery focused treatments to individuals, including:
- Meeting with clients daily and participating in ACT Team morning meeting
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments
- Creating treatment plans including medication management
- Providing crisis response and intervention
- Monitoring Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) patients and responding to AOT orders
- Providing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment
- Teaching Psychiatry Residents
- Supervising Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at the Yaphank Clinic

Minimum Qualifications:
Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute marketing campaigns in line with the strategy set by the director.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials and content.
- Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and adjust tactics as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, product, design) to support campaign goals.
- Help manage marketing tools and platforms (CRM, email platforms, social media schedulers).
- Research competitors, audiences, and channels to refine marketing tactics.
- Support event planning and promotional activities.
- Prepare reports and insights for director-level review.
- Manage schedules, vendors, or freelance support for projects.
- Plan, implement, and manage marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Update or retire outdated assets quarterly to keep content library current and relevant.
- Produce a quarterly market and competitive landscape report with actionable recommendations.
- Maintain and update a competitor comparison tracker monthly.
- Present key market trend updates to leadership or sales teams at least once per quarter.
- Track and report on campaign effectiveness using KPIs such as lead generation, engagement, and ROI.
- Supervise and support marketing team members, freelancers, and vendors to ensure deadlines, budgets, and brand standards are met.

- Work closely with the sales team to develop joint marketing initiatives that drive conversions.

- Provide actionable insights and recommend adjustments to marketing tactics based on findings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in dealer, channel, or B2B environments.
- Proven success executing marketing campaigns with measurable results.
- Experience supporting field or dealer marketing initiatives
Computer and Office Skills
- Expertise in CRM automation tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo).
- Experience with marketing automation tools (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua).
- Skilled in digital marketing (SEO, PPC, Google Ads, email and social media).
- Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuite, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.

What You’ll Do
As the Quick Service Restaurant Director, you will assist the Plaza Director in managing the overall day-to-day operations and long-term profitability of a multi-million-dollar travel plaza located along a major highway. This position is charged with successfully collaborating with the Plaza Director to lead a dedicated team of associates and managers, to ensure our customers (travelers) receive fast and friendly service, and to sustainably achieve or exceed financial and performance targets.
- Assume full responsibility for the travel plaza in the absence of the Plaza Director.
- Lead the day-to-day activities of associates and plaza leadership to achieve or exceed targeted objectives around sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety standards.
- Assist with monitoring progress towards targeted financial and performance objectives then support strategic changes to sustainably maximize performance and profitability.
- Ensure that each food and beverage concept within the plaza is adhering to the required brand standards.

What You’ll Do as a General Manager
As the General Manager of a quick service restaurant (QSR), you will be responsible for managing the overall day-to-day operations and profitability of a food and beverage concept located inside of a travel plaza on a major highway. This position is charged with operating an assigned quick service restaurant (QSR) and leading a dedicated team that achieves or exceeds the targeted financial and performance metrics.
