Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Strategic Growth:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to launch and scale the CM division.
- Leverage an extensive personal network of developers, architects, capital partners, and property owners to identify and source new project opportunities.
- Lead the entire sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to client presentations and contract negotiation.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Establish the Metrix brand within the construction management sector through networking, industry events, and thought leadership.
2. Divisional Leadership & Operations:
- Build the operational framework for the CM division, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and quality control protocols.

- Provide executive oversight for all managed projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence across the division.
3. Executive & Financial Management:
- Serve as a vital member of the company's executive team, contributing to overall corporate strategy and direction.
- Develop and manage the division's annual budget, P&L, revenue forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide regular, transparent reporting on pipeline, project performance, and divisional financials to the CEO.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, at a construction management, general contracting, or development firm.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Business Development: Demonstrable and verifiable track record of securing commercial construction management contracts through thoughtful sales planning, deep industry relationships, and a passion for winning.
- Network: An extensive and active professional network within the commercial real estate development and construction industry in the Colorado Front Range region is essential.
- Leadership: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on capacities.

Cannon Building, a leading general contractor specializing in life science, healthcare, commercial/institutional, and industrial sectors, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and drive the successful delivery of healthcare construction projects in the San Diego area.
As a Superintendent at Cannon Building, your primary focus will be the Cannon Building’s Safety Plan at the jobsite. Work with the Project Manager to develop a project schedule. Monitor with and assist the Project Manager in the execution of the project financial goals. Provide quality control by studying drawings, questioning uncertain details, continuously walking the job and inspecting each trades work and compare it to the contract documents. Be a problem solver prior to the work taking place and ensure that the work meets or exceeds the requirements of the contract documents.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Superintendent – Life Science at Cannon Building. Based in Carlsbad, CA, the Construction Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations of construction projects, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing crews and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, preparing and following project schedules, and coordinating resources and materials to optimize efficiency. The role requires collaboration with project management teams and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Monitor and document all SWPPP, BMP and storm related paperwork related to the project including job surveys and updating of the SWPPP plans and keeping all files up to date.
Leadership and Communication:
- Provide leadership by using effective verbal and written communications to manage the subcontractors and field personnel as well as interact with the Owner, Architect and Consultants on behalf of the company.
- Organize and lead project meetings, prepare minutes, and ensure all parties understand and fulfill their obligations.
Contract and Compliance Management:
- Ensure compliance with general conditions and contract requirements, monitoring contract documents for conformance and execution.
- Negotiate subcontract and purchase order terms, oversee subcontract execution, and manage subcontractor claims.
Project Documentation and Systems:
- Utilize Procore to manage project documentation and costs, overseeing the preparation and reporting of RFIs, submittals, inspections, safety reports, change orders, and related documents.
- Confirm all contracts are signed and insurance is in place prior to allowing any personnel on the jobsite to perform any work. Reads and has a working knowledge of subcontracts and change orders. Review weekly project logs for insurance, RFIs, Submittals, and Material Delivery Logs to ensure the proper delivery of materials, equipment and labor to the project.
- Review shop drawings along with Project Manager to help ensure compliance with the construction documents.
Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Participate in Operations and Safety meetings, promoting and enforcing jobsite safety.
- Start up the project assessing safety requirements and site logistics. Schedule and document safety start up meetings with the subcontractors reviewing Cannon Building’s safety requirements, OSHA requirements, Site Specific Safety requirements and reporting requirements.
- Monitor work quality and perform regular inspections to ensure construction standards are consistently met.
- Enforce strong safety culture, conducting regular safety meetings, inspections, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel may be required; the position is based out of the San Diego region, with travel for projects as needed in Orange, Los Angeles, or San Diego counties.
Qualification and Requirements
Experience Requirement: Demonstrates a working knowledge of commercial construction with a minimum of five years of experience in this area with a focus on Life Science and Pharmaceutical
· Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Additional certifications in OSHPD/HCAI regulations and construction safety are a plus

Position Overview
The VDC Project Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing construction planning through accurate coordination and quality by integrating reality capture technologies and digital workflows. This position leads the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM), field technology, and model-based processes to enhance coordination, precision, and efficiency across all phases of the project lifecycle. JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting with one or more construction projects with the management of the overall planning, scheduling, code compliance, cost tracking, safety, and completion of these projects. Primary Responsibilities:
- Study and understand plans, specifications, blueprints, and process submittals.
- Work with and assist project coordination and support staff in distributing all project data and documents to the project team.
- Maintain field set of project drawings and specifications.
- Work with and assist the project manager and the superintendent in coordinating, scheduling, and managing all construction activities.
- Maintain accurate time-keeping and construction activity records.
- Coordinate information flow between field personnel, sub-contractors and design team.
- Assist in reviewing and evaluating sub-contractor proposals including preparation of cost comparison/leveling charts as required.

Position Overview
Level Workforce is seeking a seasoned construction leader to serve as Director of Construction Operations while leading Baseline Building Group, our affiliated design-build construction platform.
This is a unique opportunity to operate inside an integrated real estate development and construction ecosystem supporting projects led by Creek Stand Land Company along with select commercial clients.
Rather than chasing speculative work, this role focuses on execution, leadership, and operational excellence within a curated project pipeline.
Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Leading construction operations consulting for Level Workforce clients • Providing fractional operational leadership to construction businesses • Serving as Business Unit Leader of Baseline Building Group

Qualifications

· Demonstrated expertise in:
· Preconstruction and estimating
· Comprehensive project management across all phases

- Perform regular site inspections to confirm work quality, compliance with building codes, and adherence to Springdale standards.
- Oversee subcontractor scheduling and performance; provide constructive feedback to strengthen trade partnerships and improve efficiency.
- Manage documentation including daily logs, RFIs, purchase orders, change orders, and progress photos in Buildertrend.
- Conduct homeowner and management walkthroughs at key project milestones.
- Ensure all job sites are safe, secure, clean, and compliant with OSHA regulations.
- Perform material take-offs and place orders; oversee accuracy and timeliness of special orders.
- Maintain three-week and six-week project agendas and communicate progress to the team.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise, maintaining project momentum and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of residential construction management experience (single-family required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Proficiency with Buildertrend (or equivalent), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, interpretation, and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and trade partners effectively.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written - with a client-first mindset.
