Responsibilities and Duties

• Round and support both the CVICU and CVSU, with no OR responsibilities
• Manage 2-3 CVICU patients daily (can be up to 8)
• Oversee 2-5 CVSU patients per day, including discharges
• Provide support for 4-10 vascular cases between ICU and floor (mostly floor-based, typically not primary provider)
• Collaborate with the APP team to ensure coordinated patient care

Additional Information

• Board certification in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active Michigan medical license preferred
• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
• Must provide copy of NPDB self-query (within 30 days of presentation)
