Iowa Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, P.C., is a well-established and highly respected group practice that has served the Des Moines metro area, Ames, and central Iowa for 40 years. IOMS offers an outstanding opportunity for a well-trained, hard-working, personable, BC/BE, single or dual-degree surgeon to join our busy eight-doctor practice as an associate with a well-defined partnership track.
We operate out of six state-of-the-art facilities with the latest technology (Carestream) and excellent support staff, including patient care assisted exclusively by registered nurses and DAANCE-certified dental assistants. IOMS has a broad and dedicated referral base with the potential for growth with a new surgeon. IOMS focuses primarily on office-based procedures, emphasizing dental implant and augmentation procedures, dentoalveolar surgery, I.V. anesthesia, pathology, and some limited trauma and orthognathics. A new associate could expand their scope of practice as desired.

Practice & Organization Overview
Our practice is a physician-owned specialty-care clinic in Green Bay, Wisconsin, committed to delivering high-quality care. Busy practice with a solid referral base, scheduled out approximately two months and are ready to welcome an additional Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Associate with a partnership track.
We have three locations and have a close affiliation with a surgeon-owned hospital and ambulatory surgery center. Our team of three partner surgeons enjoys strong autonomy, excellent administrative support, and a collegial, low-ego culture focused on long-term success.

The Incoming Surgeon Can Expect
- 10–12 surgeries per day
- Dentoalveolar surgery, Implants, including complex and full-arch work

- Hospital-based Level II trauma coverage, with many cases initially handled by Nurse Practitioners
- No TMJ requirement
- Optional cosmetic procedures, depending on your training and interest

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program
- Board-certified or board-eligible in oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Valid dental license in Georgia
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care

Graduation from a U.S. accredited four year dental school (DDS/DMD) required
Post-graduate of a U.S. surgical program with certificate to practice Oral Surgery
Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in assigned region, or the ability to apply
DEA registration
Perform dental implant surgery including the extraction of teeth and alveolectomy as necessary
Work in close collaboration with the restorative doctor to aid in treatment planning cases for optimal outcomes
Work in accordance with Center policies and procedures, safety, OSHA and MSDS guideline
