Qualifications and requirements:
Education: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology Required

How you'll contribute
A Director of Pharmacy who excels in this role:
- Displays knowledge of clinical criteria, managed care requirements for inpatient and outpatient authorization and advocates on behalf of the patient to secure coverage for needed services.
- Completes pre and re-certifications for inpatient and outpatient services. Reports appropriate denial, and authorization information to designated resource.
- Actively communicates with interdisciplinary team to acquire pertinent information and give updates on authorizations.
- Participate in treatment teams to ensure staff have knowledge of coverage and to collect information for communication with agencies.
- Works with DON to ensure documentation requirements are met.
- Ensure appeals are completed thoroughly and on a timely basis.
- Interface with managed care organizations, external reviews, and other payers.
- Communicate with physicians to schedule peer to peer reviews.

What we're looking for
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree. Pharm.D. preferred.
- MBA/MS or equivalent education/experience preferred
- License: Current State Certification/Licensure as required by state.
- Minimum three years’ experience in hospital pharmacy is desirable.

Position Summary
The Labor and Employment Counsel will serve as the primary legal advisor on all employment and labor matters for Relay Resources. This role will lead employee and union relations strategy and compliance with federal and state employment laws. The role will partner with Relay Resources HR leadership to foster a disability-centric, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace. The Counsel will act as a trusted advisor to executives and managers on labor negotiations, grievance handling, workforce policies, and internal investigations of employee complaints.
Key Responsibilities
Labor Relations Leadership
- Serve as the lead strategist promoting collaborative labor relations and the lead negotiator for collective bargaining agreements.
- Manage union relationships with SEIU (Service Employees International Union) and LIUNA (Laborers' International Union of North America), and ensure compliance with labor contracts.
- Advise on contract administration, grievance handling, and arbitration processes, including strategy, resolution, and prevention.
- Maintain effective relationships with union leadership and industry labor relations contacts, and monitor trends related to wages, hours, working conditions, and benefits.
- Ensure Relay Resources team leaders have the tools and training required to effectively create a disability-inclusive work environment, consistent with customer requirements and in compliance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Employment Law Compliance
- Provide guidance and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and labor laws (including but not limited to FMLA, FLSA, ADA, ADEA, NLRA, and related wage/hour, leave, anti-discrimination, recruitment, onboarding, workplace safety, and data privacy requirements).
- Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, and procedures.

- Lead, set goals, and provide direction for the Manager of Employee and Labor Relations and the Labor Relations Specialist.

- Develop effective working partnerships with Relay Resources function leads and Relay Resources Team Leaders. Provide counsel on all legal and employment compliance matters. Recommend practices to mitigate employee and labor relations issues.
- Represent Relay's values, culture, and policies with Union Leadership and representatives.
Disability Inclusion and Accessibility
- Advance the Relay Resources mission to transform workplaces and communities by championing disability inclusion through legally sound and strategic practices.

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Portland location production processes to ensure all safety, quality, delivery, and cost (efficiency and continuous improvement) objectives are achieved for production. Responsible for consistently finding ways to improve organizational production processes and through building and leading a team to meet the organizational objectives.

- Manages all resources in a harmonious manner that promotes and cultivates an atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, respect, accountability, and a desire to improve all Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
- Ensures all Safety standards, process and procedures are followed, work directly with Safety Compliance Manager as needed to improve existing program/procedures to ensure all Safety objectives are regularly exceeded.
- Ensures all Quality standards, process and procedures are followed, works directly with Quality and Engineering Departments as needed to improve existing program/procedures to ensure all Quality objectives are regularly exceeded.
- Plan and establish production and manufacturing priorities
- Utilizing systems to monitor all production related data regarding department loads, capacities, quantities, and delivery dates of all customer demand. Advises and monitors production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.
- Ensures on-time delivery to all internal and external customers.
- Communicates monthly production requirements and Coordinates production activities with supporting departments, engineering, procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and ulitization of resources, machines and equipement.
- Develops and implements strategies designed to correct operational problems and improve production throughput.
- Develop long range production plan and capital improvements.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department and collaborates with other manufacturing managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
- Has the responsibility of establishing daily/weekly/monthly schedules and is responsible for ensuring timelines are achieved and communicated accordingly.
- Monitors manpower and training plans to maintain area targets.
- Establishes environment of Continuous Improvement to eliminate problems and reduce costs. Training, teamwork, and communication are keys.
- Ensures compliance and consistency with all factory rules, regulations, and collective bargaining agreement. Supports system of progressive discipline and develops consistency among supervisory ranks. Works to develop a progressive approach to union related issues.
- Develops, fosters and leads/mentors teams to achieve significant results and develop future leaders/managers.
- Managers will exhibit the characteristics of a leader who is determined, results-oriented, persuasive, and a strong communicator.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered.
- Production Management in Manufacturing, Power Transmission products exposure preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience in a regulated, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and strong leadership skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be familiar with general safety regulations, general software applications, and Company unique software systems.
