Solder Assembler (2nd Shift)

Mercury Systems is looking for skilled solderers to help complete a variety of tasks relating to production operations on PCBs and PCBAs. To be successful, you will need to demonstrate skill with soldering SMT and through hole components, rework and repair of boards. This is a 2nd shift opportunity, daily hours will be from 2:30pm to 12:00am and overtime is available and encouraged.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Use soldering irons to attach electronic components with SMT and Thru hole technologies.
  • Interpreting job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics
  • Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards
  • Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts
  • Modifying, soldering, reworking, repairing assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions
  • Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Will require an onsite soldering assessment to J-STD-001 standards during the interview
  • Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Must be able to work 2nd Shift hours, 2:30pm to 12:00am
  • Typically requires 5+ years of electronics assembly and inspection experience with in-process soldering (both through hole and surface mount)
  • Must be able to work for extended hours utilizing a microscope to perform inspection and solder touch-ups
  • Hand soldering experience is required
  • Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rework/repair, wire attach, and mechanical assembly
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multitask
  • IPC-610, J-STD-001 and 7711/7721 certification preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs
  • 10 plus years related experience preferred

About the Role

The Associate Attorney will join a team of 18 personal injury attorneys to take on an inventory of cases and be responsible for working them through pre-litigation and negotiating with the insurance company to ensure that our client gets fairly compensated for their damages. Each of our attorneys is highly invested in and involved with their clients, making client management and communication a key priority.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an associate attorney, admitted to the Oregon Bar with three to five years of experience, ideally in civil law. You might be our ideal candidate if you:

  • Enjoy helping and interacting with people
  • Offer compassion to individuals who are injured and in crisis
  • Are driven to win and not afraid of confronting opposing counsel to get the best results for our clients
  • Enjoy finding creative solutions

Experience

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in civil law (personal injury preferred)
  • Experience developing rapport with clients
  • Experience working with legal staff (preferred)

Work Model:

  • Hybrid 2 days a week after 12-week fully on-site training period.

Compensation:

  • $120,000 - $170,000 base compensation
