As a Clinic Nurse (LPN)/Medical Assistant at MercyOne, you will provide quality patient care and is a patient advocate.

  • Escorts patients to exam rooms. Obtains and documents data to include but not limited to chief complaint, allergies, vital signs, pain level, medication history, and fall risk.   • Maintains competency in administering medications via the following routines: IM, SQ, ID, oral, inhalation, ocular, optic, topical, sublinqual, and nasal.
  • Documents notification/follow-up of phone messages under direct supervision of a provider.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with co-workers, medical staff, and personnel of other departments, and assists customers as necessary .
  • Assists in cost containment by maintaining an adequate quantity of supplies in work- stations and exam/procedure rooms,(lab and x-ray also if applicable).

The Nurse Practitioner, Bridging Care Provider (NP) acts as part of the clinical operations team and is responsible for providing direct patient

Korn Ferry has partnered with the University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) to lead the search for their next Director, Inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (Neurosurgery). This position is based on-site in Albuquerque, New Mexico.


Position Overview

The Director, Inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for Neurosurgery serves as the senior operational and clinical leader for the neurosurgical APP service line at University of New Mexico Hospital, the state’s only Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center. This role is responsible for leading, integrating, and advancing a high-acuity neurosurgical APP program that spans inpatient care, critical care, operative services, and ambulatory practice.


This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the highest-acuity neurosurgical APP teams in the region while maintaining an active clinical footprint. The Director partners directly with the Chair of Neurosurgery, Executive Director of Inpatient APPs, faculty leadership, and health system stakeholders to drive service line strategy, workforce integration, clinical excellence, and cultural transformation.


The service line supports approximately 2,000 neurosurgical cases annually, with ~70 percent trauma, a strong mix of elective and non-elective neurosurgery, and a 24-bed collaborative Neuro ICU. APPs are fully integrated across inpatient, OR, and clinic environments, practicing at the top of their licensure in a team-based academic model.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Integration

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for a 22-member neurosurgical APP team(employed and locum providers)
  • Maintain active clinical practice within neurosurgery (clinic, inpatient rounding, and/or ICU coverage)
  • Lead APP integration across inpatient neurosurgery, OR first-assist services, and ambulatory clinics
  • Partner with neurosurgery faculty to optimize team-based care models and service coverage structures
  • Support high-acuity care delivery in trauma, neurocritical care, spine, cranial, tumor, and endovascular services


Operational & Workforce Management

  • Oversee complex staffing, scheduling, and coverage models across multiple employment structures and payroll systems

Primary Care Provider (NP) – PACE Program

Target Salary: $130,000  +(depending on experience) + comprehensive benefits



A mission-driven PACE organization in Columbus is seeking a Primary Care Provider - Nurse Practitioner to join its interdisciplinary team serving frail and elderly adults. This is a highly collaborative, patient-centered role focused on comprehensive primary care, care coordination, and improving outcomes for older adults in a community-based model.

Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver comprehensive primary care, including history, physical exams, and ongoing assessments




  • Develop individualized care plans and collaborate closely with the IDT and Medical Director




  • Manage medications, reconciliation, and interactions with pharmacist collaboration




  • Coordinate specialist referrals and follow up on consults, labs, and imaging




  • Monitor participant status during hospitalizations and transitions of care




  • Participate in daily IDT meetings and contribute clinical insights




  • Educate participants and caregivers on self-care, medications, and wellness




  • Provide on-call coverage as part of a shared rotation




  • Support quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and clinical policy development




  • Ensure accurate documentation, coding, and compliance with regulatory standards





Qualifications



  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) license




  • Active state license (Ohio) and DEA/CDS




  • BLS required




  • Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience (geriatric or frail population preferred)




  • Experience in managed care, primary care, or geriatrics strongly preferred

Our groundbreaking hospice and palliative care programs offer a significant difference when dealing with a life-limiting condition. We offer a broad range of services in the community or facility-based to help patients and their families ease the burden of managing a life-limiting illness or end of life care.

The Pediatric NP Provider Hospice/Palliative Care has two primary responsibilities.

  • Provide NP-appropriate service to patients enrolled in hospice and may also assist in staffing pediatric palliative care consultation services that function as a program of MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care
  • Work in the community environment, and may, on occasion, provide consultation in the long-term care environment or hospital.
  • In all settings, provide in-person visits or telehealth visits, as appropriate.
  • Providing comfort care consistent with best practices, including history-taking, appropriate examination, formulation and care planning, treatment recommendation or implementation, communication, and documentation
  • In the role as hospice NP, you will coordinate with the team physician and manager and will be responsible for face-to-face evaluations for hospice eligibility, and the assessment and management of hospice patients in need of exigent medical care
  • Contribute to the training of the hospice team, providing support for the interdisciplinary team, as needed
  • Help build a teaching curriculum on pediatric aspects of hospice care that will be of use to our hospice workers who are engaged in pediatric care through cross coverage for when young adolescents are incorporated into adult hospice teams
  • In providing both direct care and support to other clinicians, the NP will use an evidence-based approach to management and to the use of materials and policies/procedures
  • Other activities related to quality improvement projects may also be required, as appropriate

• Master’s degree in nursing and graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program required.
• Minimum of 1-year clinical experience as a NP provider preferred.
• Prior experience working as a member of a specialist-level palliative care team or working in a hospice environment preferred.
• Prior pediatric nursing or pediatric NP experience strongly preferred.

• NYS NP License (Certified Pediatric, Family, or Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner)

• CPR-BLS

• NYS Driver's license and car

• Hospice & Palliative Care certification strongly encouraged by year 2 of hire.
• Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the position
• Ability to coordinate the resources and personnel involved in a comprehensive interdisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to travel across the agency’s geographic territory to provide patient care as needed.
• Possess teaching, communication, and listening skills.
