Job Description
Production Worker Metal manufacturer or fabrication background Riverside, CA Pay: $19.17 per hour Monday â Thursday: 5:00 AM â 3:00 PM Friday: 5:00 AM â 1:30 PM Saturdays as needed (overtime currently available) We are seeking a General Production Worker to support manufacturing operations in a metal fabrication and water filtration systems environment.
This role involves preparing manufactured products for paint, powder coating, or shipment while assisting with general production activities.
Job Summary The Production Worker supports the manufacturing team by preparing metal components for finishing and shipment.
This includes using hand and power tools to remove sharp edges, pressure testing products, and preparing parts for final paint stages.
The role also involves operating a sit-down forklift to move and stage finished products throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities Prepare manufactured products for paint, powder coating, or shipment Use hand and power tools to remove sharp edges and finish metal components Assist with pressure testing and final preparation of manufactured parts Operate a sit-down forklift to move and stage materials and finished goods Support production, shipping, and receiving operations Use RF scanners to track materials and production usage Complete basic production reports and documentation Perform repetitive bending, lifting, carrying, and other physical production tasks Work in multiple production areas including: Prep station Pour station Pressing wedgewire, manways, and spuds Parts grinding Shipping and receiving Cartridge assembly Paint station Perform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience Experience working in a metal manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred 2+ years experience using hand and power tools 2+ years forklift experience (certified preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 20 lbs unassisted and up to 50â100 lbs with assistance Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Additional Requirements Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Legal authorization to work in the United States Strong team player with a willingness to grow within the organization KPG123
