The Opportunity

Working under general supervision in accordance with specific procedures and practices, may perform a combination of assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies. Performs routine assignments with detailed instructions. Follows general instructions for routine work and more detailed instructions for new or special activities. - Performs Electronic Assembly functions: Assembles, welds, solders and x-rays medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools;
- Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts; Repairs and tests units using computerized test equipment.
- Performs Casting/Coating functions: Examines medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy; Utilizes small drills, reamers, taps and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxy; Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patches.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of relevant training/experience in the assembly of digital/analog circuitry, devices, components or equivalent.

- Experience must include at least one year in the bio-medical field or experience working in an air-conditioned clean room manufacturing environment requiring stringent environmental controls. Demonstrated manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
- Demonstrated use of standard hand tools used in the assembly of bio-instruments/bio-devices. Incumbents are required to work cooperatively and productively with others. Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate information from to varied disciplines including Engineering, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Must be able to multi-task and rotate through all jobs performed in the assigned work group as needed. Incumbents must also be able to meet deadlines on multiple projects.

- Incumbents are required to have demonstrated spelling, punctuation, grammar, basic math/numerical, organizational skills, and a familiarity with standard manufacturing/office equipment and procedures. The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is also required; this requirement includes clear, understandable speech and demonstrated comprehension skills. The ability to successfully pass a reading comprehension pre-employment examination is mandatory.
- The demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Company operating procedures, processes, policies and rules is essential. Must be able to maintain regular and predictable attendance; the ability work overtime is also required.

The Production Associate will set up, adjust, and operate semi-automated printing machines and prepare items processed for the next routing step. Ensuring that only products meeting company standards are passed onto the next step or packaged to ship to our customers. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, perform basic math functions, and make adjustments and/or minor repairs to equipment.

  • Set up and adjust machines for proper operation
  • Ensure that the proper supplies (both bill of material and non-bill of material items) are being used for printing
  • Read and follows manufacturing orders to make sure orders are printed according to specifications (quality, accuracy, and layout)
  • Examines product for defects, position of design print clarity, color accuracy or other flaws and adjusts equipment accordingly if needed

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor II leads and directs a team of employees in an assigned area of operations such as Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Test. Assembly & Tool Operation

  • Use hand tools to install mesh into pre-assembled screen frames for a finished product.
  • Maintain a steady workflow by ensuring materials move efficiently between production stages.
  • Perform periodic checks on completed screens to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.

Quality Control & Problem-Solving

The Production Supervisor at the 750 facility is responsible for leading daily pressroom operations with a focus on safety, quality, performance, and people development. This role ensures that PPC’s flexographic pressroom operates efficiently and produces high-quality printed materials that meet customer expectations and company standards.


The Supervisor plays a critical role in advancing PPC’s strategic goals of improving Fully Productive Time (FPT), reducing waste, and driving operational excellence through strong floor leadership. This position is accountable for coordinating all pressroom activities on the assigned shift, ensuring that teams operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with work instructions, job tickets, and color/registration specifications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment for all team members; enforce all PPE, lockout/tagout, and food safety policies.
  • Lead daily shift huddles reviewing FPT performance, footage targets, safety, and quality metrics.
  • Provide consistent direction and coaching to Operators, Press Assistants, and Operations Leads to meet daily production goals.
  • Monitor all setup, makeready, and run processes for accuracy, waste, and uptime; escalate issues quickly to support departments.
  • Ensure all operators follow documented work instructions, centerlines, and job tickets prior to production start.
  • Review and sign off on all first-off approvals and quality checkpoints (“second approval process”).
  • Partner with scheduling and staging to maintain readiness and improve flow between press, lamination, and slitting.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, corrective actions, and attendance tracking in partnership with HR.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging Lean and 6S tools to reduce downtime and improve consistency.
  • Train, mentor, and develop cross-functional talent for future growth opportunities within PPC.
