The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathe, while also understanding machining centers, lathes, and other equipment to produce parts to tight tolerances within .001. Experience programming at machine is a big plus. Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate 3 or 4 axis machining centers to perform precision machining operations
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Analyze data and production reports
  • Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
  • Select appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job
  • Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine etc.

What Youll Do

Youll service commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment across Central Kentucky, with a focus on foodservice and retail environments. Daily responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Manages relationships with import brokers to minimize the impact of duties, tariffs, and import costs for AWPC.

  • Responds to import matters as presented on a daily basis.

  • Audits and monitors AWPC’s import filings to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and suggests workflow and other changes to mitigate audit risk.
  • Reviews all pre- and post-entry import documentation for accuracy of classifications, associated duties, and all other required information.
  • Registers, maintains, and renews all import-related certifications and applications.
  • Reviews, updates, implements and trains employees on import-related aspects of the AWPC trade compliance policy and procedures.

Qualifications for Position:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
