We are hiring for a Production Area Manager. This person will be responsible for all aspects of production in our cylinders manufacturing area, including quality and customer service, safety, staffing, planning, leadership and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will empower and direct hourly workforce to accomplish goals and initiatives in a team-based environment. They will take a critical role in executing team objectives, driving transformation and working in collaboration with quality, scheduling, engineering and maintenance. Review orders and schedules to determine workforce requirements and capacity constraints.
Responsibilities
- Resolve day-to-day issues to meet production, safety, shipping and quality goals.
- Execute scheduled work orders to meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for adjusting schedules as to ensure completion of order. Holds team accountable for completion of management boards, inventory records, and action items.
- Completion of payroll in absence of Group Lead or Supervisor.
- Talent Management including performance evaluations and feedback, merits, goal setting and tracking, employee interaction, coaching and mentoring to achieve cultural and performance standards.
- Staffing & scheduling including overtime, absenteeism and vacation.
- Identify training needs, coordinate cross-training opportunities and support development plans.
- Assist quality and technical services in resolving quality issues including customer claims, corrective action.
- Supports new process and production development and implementation.
- Ensures clean and safe working environment for all employees.
- Ensures safety training is complete, hazardous conditions and risks are eliminated, safety incidents are reported and investigated as required.

Works closely with department employees and reports any issues to Ricotta Production Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Ensures department is running in a smooth and efficient manner.2. Assist operators in set up and start of production.3. Ensures quality control checks are being performed by the departmental employees.4. Verifies proper recipes are being used for production.5. Job Summary: The Production Assistant is responsible for collecting all products from the end of the production line and packing the products per customer or job requirements. The Production Associate will set up, adjust, and operate semi-automated printing machines and prepare items processed for the next routing step. Ensuring that only products meeting company standards are passed onto the next step or packaged to ship to our customers. Must be able to read and understand work instructions, perform basic math functions, and make adjustments and/or minor repairs to equipment.
Responsibilities for Production Associate - Koozie Cell:
- Set up and adjust machines for proper operation
- Ensure that the proper supplies (both bill of material and non-bill of material items) are being used for printing
- Read and follows manufacturing orders to make sure orders are printed according to specifications (quality, accuracy, and layout)
- Examines product for defects, position of design print clarity, color accuracy or other flaws and adjusts equipment accordingly if needed
- Maintains sewing equipment including, but not limited to needles, bobbins, lubrication, etc.
- May package product for shipping, making sure proper box size and packing procedures are followed and ensuring that only products meeting quality standards are packed to ship
- Completes DCT reporting and necessary daily paperwork as instructed, including quantity produced, scrap and related information
- Performs preventative maintenance duties, such as daily cleaning and lubricating
- Maintains effective working relationship with coworkers
- Maintains a clean and neat work area
- Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement

Job Summary:The Production Supervisor II leads and directs a team of employees in an assigned area of operations such as Metal Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Test. Efficiency

Labor

Your Job
As a Production Supervisor, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes, best practices, and be accountable for achieving cost, schedule, and productivity metrics by directing the work of the department. You will ensure safety, culture and operational effectiveness using lean manufacturing tactics with a focus on production efficiency. You will also have the desire to develop and mentor all employees under your supervision.
What You Will Do in Your Role
- Lead, track and improve performance on key department goals and objectives
- Develop crew members to improve individual and organizational performance
- Lead performance management and corrective action processes
- Continuously improve plant performance through process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques

Job Requirements and Duties:
- 10+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing (blow molding, injection molding, extrusion, or similar).
- 5+ years in production, maintenance, or plant management leadership roles.
