We are seeking a person capable of running an Intevac 200L sputter machine in a proficient manner to fulfill the requests for the Media Development Engineering organization. Tasks and duties will include processing experiments precisely as documented or requested by the Engineering staff. Requirements are to work in class 10 /100 cleanroom environment, follow all procedures and protocols, follow instructions well, provide feedback to coworkers/leads in a constructive/positive manner, provide technical support and suggestions to Engineering, run sputter machines efficiently and effectively, collect sputter related data on metrology tools, maintain excellent documentation, work collaboratively in a team environment to help exceed goals. These items listed below CAN be trained.
Pilot Line Operations includes - processing of the media through various media processes and equipment which includes but is not limited to the following:
- Processing of experiments for the Engineering team - processing discs through the various tools, measurement of the media, data entry, and feedback to engineering and management of the results.
- Work inside of a cleanroom - 100% PPE suits from head to toe with masks and safety glasses are required.
- Job requires a good amount of movement (walking - 50% depending on the job) to retrieve parts from point A to point B in many cases.
- Reaching is required in many cases to load and unload products onto racks, machines, etc., typically ranging from 24 inches to 53 inches not exceeding 10lbs.
- Many cases cart is provided for the transport of product, but hand carrying of product/material is required majority of the time as well.
- Computer skills are required in all the areas since the machines and the processes require computer and software interface. Interaction with Engineering is required via email, phone and excellent understanding and communication skills are required. Comprehension of correct recipes, file savings, instructions are followed precisely. Detailed use of excel is a must and understanding of Windows.
- Job requires stepping onto step stools to reach platforms for the processing of parts, as well as bending/kneeling in tight spaces for access to back of tools for process checks.
- Manual dexterity is needed in some areas to perform tape changes, adjustments based upon data received from Engineering or checklists. MDW process requires detailed manual dexterity with ESD sensitive parts and miniature assembly.
- Many of the jobs require cross training to be able to utilize the employees efficiently for planning purposes and downtime in areas.
- Saturday workday is required and part of their schedule in many cases and overtime is required.
- Must be able to focus, excellent attendance, comprehension, enthusiastic in performing their jobs, communicate detailed information well, pay attention to details, and have a good attitude and work ethics, and a true team player in getting tasks at hand completed in a timely manner.

As a Senior Yogurt Process Project Manager, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to leading and executing strategic capital investment and process improvement projects that enhance the design, performance, and reliability of our yogurt manufacturing operations. The role includes overseeing projects from concept through full implementation, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, plant operational needs, and product quality expectations. Responsibilities include driving process design, managing cross-functional project teams, supporting production and quality operations, and ensuring successful commissioning of new or upgraded yogurt processing systems. Additionally, the Senior Yogurt Process Project Manager will collaborate with other Lactalis USA Corporate team members, the Lactalis Group Corporate Engineering & Equipment Department, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Plant Engineering and Operations teams to align duties with the company's goals and values.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and performance criteria to support strategic business goals within yogurt manufacturing and processing.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate technical constraints, operational impacts, and cost-benefit considerations.
- Partner with Key Stakeholders at Corporate and Plant level - including Production, Quality, Planning, R&D, Finance, Safety, Maintenance, and Engineering - to obtain buy-ins and to ensure that project designs meet business, operational, and regulatory expectations.
- Develop complete project packages including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment layouts, scopes of work, cost estimates, timelines, ROI, and risk assessments required for capital project justification and submittal.
- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers, engineering firms, and equipment vendors aligned with corporate standards and yogurt processing technology requirements.
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive quotations for capital assets, installation services, and engineering support.
- Prepare comparative analyses and recommendations for purchasing decisions and capital investment approvals.
- Lead end-to-end project management for yogurt process initiatives, from conceptual design through commissioning, ramp up, project closure, and handover.
- Maintain and distribute comprehensive Project Schedules, identify critical paths, implement mitigation initiatives, and propose acceleration plans to ensure all projects are completed in accordance with the timelines in the Savings Plans and ROI calculations.
- Coordinate and facilitate project review meetings, develop and distribute meeting minutes, and escalate issues or risks to key stakeholders as required.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities to ensure equipment performance aligns with specifications and project objectives.
- Oversee installation, startup, and optimization of yogurt processing systems, resolving technical issues and ensuring seamless integration with existing operations.
- Ensure all projects comply with corporate engineering standards, environmental regulations, food safety requirements, and applicable industry codes.

Overview
Power the data centers, hospitals, and other mission-critical facilities of tomorrow-designing both rugged rental products and stationary generator-set packages that keep them online. As an Engineering Detailer/Drafter you'll work in a unique manufacturing and dealer environment, leveraging AutoCAD and Inventor skills to create and detail drawings for parts, weldments and assemblies.
Basic Duties
- Create clear 2D/3D drawings for skids, bases, enclosures, fuel/cooling/exhaust, and wiring layouts using company CAD standards.
- Turn engineer/customer inputs into buildready fabrication drawings and BOMs.
- Work with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and the Fab Shop to resolve questions and keep drawings productionready.
- Keep drawing sets current-apply redlines, revisions, and asbuilt updates; maintain files and version control.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Inventor and Autocad in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Caterpillar toolsets (CAT ET, CAT Monitoring Software, SIS Web, TMI, EDDC) is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of diesel- and natural-gas generator sets is preferred, not required.
- Expert-level 2D drafting in AutoCAD; 3D modeling experience required in the last year (Inventor preferred, or comparable platforms accepted)
- Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized, flexible and have the ability to work necessary hours in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient communications, interpersonal and organizational skills.

The College of Engineering is seeking to fill a temporary Administrative Manager position. The role will provide direct supervision and daytoday leadership to an administrative support team, including workload distribution, providing guidance and performance feedback, and serving as an escalation point for operational issues. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for administrative operations during a period of transition, ensuring continuity of operations and coverage.
The Administrative Manager will oversee daily administrative operations, monitor service levels, and ensure consistent, highquality support for faculty, staff, students, and leadership. Position description
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach Electrical Engineering or Computer Science courses should an opening arise. These are not tenure-track positions - selected candidates will hold the title of Lecturer. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the department. Due to budget restrictions, no funding is available for visa or relocation expenses.

We're looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in Santa Clara, CA who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you will have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other advanced state of the art manufacturing facilities.
