Job Summary
Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to principles and practices of physical therapy. Participates in operational and clinical functions for the department, hospital and corporation. Provides direction and assistance to Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Physical Therapy Students, and Therapy Aides in the area of patient care. Complies with laws and regulations of appropriate state and federal agencies and Joint Commission guidelines. An advanced level of clinical and interpersonal skills are required. Essential Functions

- Performs appropriate initial physical therapy evaluations and re-evaluations and designs a physical therapy plan of care
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of diagnoses/conditions seen in physical therapy
- Selects, performs, and interprets the results of PT examinations of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary systems
- Performs and interprets standardized evaluations appropriate for the patient
- Identifies actual or potential problems that would impact the PT treatment plan as well as the overall patient plan of care
- Establishes specific treatment goals based on the results of the initial assessment
- Designs the treatment plan appropriate for the patient's age, educational level, and cultural background
- Designs a plan of intervention that is coordinated and integrated with other services.

The Family Partnership is hiring a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based, medically necessary occupational therapy services to children in early childhood programs. - Providing developmental occupational therapy services under supervision.
- Delivering intervention procedures as delegated by the supervising OTR/L, in accordance with AOTA practice standards and Minnesota regulations.

The Physical Therapy Assistant Provides clinical physical therapy treatments for program participants on acute, restorative and maintenance levels as needed. Follows the treatment plan as per Registered Physical Therapist assessment and documented care plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Become the Director of Therapy Operations you've always aspired to be
- Develop, revise, implement, and communicate policies, processes, and procedures, holding staff accountable for their respective roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to educate staff and the community about awareness, prevention, and treatment options. Develop and support clinical affiliations and relationships with educational institutions.
- Use historical data and emerging trends to forecast operational revenues and expenses and make recommendations based on internal and external market conditions for potential salary adjustments.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of state, federal, and professional regulatory requirements for program reimbursement, business standards, legal issues, and documentation requirements, and apply them to program operations and departments. Educate and communicate updates and changes in standards to the staff and advise the CEO on the needs required for effective program operation and implementation.

Qualifications
- Current State license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
- BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited therapy program.
- Additional training with a Master's or Doctorate degree in professional or management area is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of rehabilitation experience, including two years in a management role, is required.
