TITLE: Sales Manager
REPORTS TO: Store Manager / Regional Manager
OVERALL DUTIES:
The Sales Manager is responsible for day-to-day staff productivity development in
line with the storeβs strategy, building highly motivated teams and developing the
staff to the next level. Ensuring established sales and profit goals are met both
individually and as a team. This individual will assist with supervising and providing
the staff with support to reach their goal while modeling MaxMara standards of
customer service. In addition, all floor related operational activities are
responsibility of the Sales Manager.
CORE RESPONSIBILTIES:
1. Customer Service
β’ Must have the ability to maintain and communicate the Companyβs
commitment to goals, drive sales, and motivate teamβs performance
β’ Assist assigned stylist by Store Manager in their daily appointments
and operations. Assist all other sales associates as needed.
β’ Actively builds client confidence by creating an engaging interactive
experience
β’ Assist assigned stylist with retaining and gaining new clients, meeting
conversion goals and continues to service existing client base
β’ Resolves customer service issues swiftly
β’ Ensure customerβs needs are met without hesitation.
β’ Assist sales associates in consistently meeting /exceeding both store
and individual sales goals including KPIβs
β’ Maximize the customer experience
β’ Maintain positive outlook and professional demeanor while
supporting company initiatives
β’ Stresses importance of developing a local clientele with the goal of
enlarging top tier loyal client base
β’ Ongoing reinforcement of all aspects related to clienteling
2. Staff Development
β’ Monitor and encourage client development by supporting assigned
top stylists, as per directive of Store Manager and Regional Manager,
with all CRM related tasks such as client outreach, client lists analysis,
management of follow ups, operational activities (approval &
appointment set up, ringing sales etc.)
β’ Manage on the floor to maintain a strong presence
β’ Can align other team members to reach goals to support the business
β’ Creates a store environment that emulates the company DNA
3. Operations
β’ Achieve and exceed individual sales goals. Assist with achieving the
Companyβs sales plan for your boutique or outlet by leading the store
team to drive sales through constant training and modeling of
outstanding customer service skills
β’ Perform all point-of-sale (POS) cashier-level functions
β’ Ring any approvals going in/out of the stylist
β’ Ringing all of assigned stylist individual sales and returns and all
other associateβs as needed.
β’ Check on the finished alts, B2E orders and COPβs for assigned stylistβs
clients.
β’ Daily communication with assigned stylist and have merchandise for
client appointments set up in the fitting room.
β’ Communicates all store related issues to Store Manager when unable
to solve on their own
β’ Answer all incoming calls and direct customer inquiries to
appropriate party
β’ Assist with closing and opening procedures to ensure the store is
ready for business, including compliance to visual merchandising
standards
β’ Maintain and monitor the staffβs compliance with Company policies
and procedures on sales, customer service, dress code, etc., and
provide feedback to Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager as
needed.
4. Human Resources
β’ Ensure all company policies and procedures are being followed on the
sales floor
β’ Exhibit strong communication skills that are clear and concise with
the store team, assigned top stylists, Management and Regional
Manager
β’ Create a positive store atmosphere that consistently motivates the
team
β’ And other duties assigned from time to time
REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION
β’ BA a plus
β’ Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the apparel industry
with a proven track record of driving sales and excellence in customer
service; luxury a plus
β’ RTW and/or shoe experience is a plus; product experience in luxury
or high-end retail is strongly preferred
β’ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
β’ Training, interviewing, organizational, and performance management
skills.

Store Visuals + Merchandising
- Lead and assist in the execution of visual merchandising changes, ensuring consistency in store layout, signage, and product placements.
- Regularly inspect the storeβs visual standards to ensure the environment remains aligned with Bloomingdaleβs aesthetic and customer expectations.
- Conduct daily visual walkthroughs to ensure the store is fully stocked and that products are in their designated spots, adhering to visual merchandising guidelines.

- Organize and maintain project files including daily logs, submittals, RFIs, and inspection records.
Procurement & Material Management
- Assist the PM in preparing and tracking material purchase orders for guardrail, fencing, and attenuator components.
- Help coordinate material deliveries with suppliers and confirm quantities against project requirements.
- Maintain a running materials log for each job; track what has been delivered, installed, and what remains on order.
- Support yard inventory checks and flag shortages or overages to the PM.
Cost Tracking Support
- Help the PM monitor project costs by entering and organizing data in spreadsheets or PM software.
- Collect and organize vendor invoices, delivery tickets, and purchase orders for PM review.
- Assist with tracking material quantities installed vs. ordered to support monthly pay applications.
- Flag any potential budget concerns or discrepancies to the PM for resolution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Produce comprehensive wiring schematics, conduit schedules, and panel layouts in AutoCAD and Inventor for diesel and natural gas gensets, ensuring every reference, layer, and legend is unambiguous.
- Size and specify breakers, relays, PLC/HMI hardware, and interface circuits that integrate seamlessly with low to medium-voltage paralleling switchgear and DC control systems.
- Audit project drawings, vendor prints, and specifications against UL, NFPA 70/110, ISO, and customer standards; log variances and close them before release.
- Diagnose elusive startup, commissioning, and controls problems for technicians through root-cause-based recommendations that feed back into design libraries to improve the product.
- Translate application questions into concise recommendations and solutions and document in formal engineering notes.
- Maintain production continuity
- Follow standard protocols and proven design protocols to ensure consistent high-quality products that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Manage the submittal dossier
- Assemble, index, and track all drawings, studies, and data sheets through the approval cycle; document every revision for full traceability.
- Leverage Caterpillar engineering resources
- Retrieve and interpret factory application guides, PID data, and software updates; ensure the latest revisions are embedded in each project.
- Enable precise estimating
- Deliver dimensioned one-lines, BOMs, and labor take-offs to the Sales team so quotes reflect real scope, margin, and risk.
- Design for the exceptional case
- Apply first-principles analysis to bespoke components or control sequences required by unique site conditions or regulatory environments.
- Control the critical path
- Use tools and milestone checklists to keep engineering actions on time, document slippage causes, and propose corrective actions proactively.
- Adapt as requirements evolve
- When priorities shift, re-baseline drawings, calculations, designs, and priorities so the entire team works from a single source of truth.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (preferred) - or at least ten years of hands-on experience in the engine-driven power-generation industry or a closely related technology field with design engineering experience for 5+ years.

Technical Expertise
- Proficiency with Caterpillar toolsets (CAT ET, CAT Monitoring Software, SIS Web, TMI, EDDC) is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of diesel- and natural-gas generator sets is preferred; familiarity with lithium-ion energy-storage systems is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of relevant codes and standards-NFPA 70/110, NEC, NEMA, UL, IEEE.
- Expert-level 2D drafting in AutoCAD; 3D modeling experience required (Inventor preferred, or comparable platforms accepted).
- Exposure to generator paralleling switchgear, remote-fuel supply, and remote-cooling systems is preferred.

- Valid driver's license with a clean record (no more than two minor violations in the last three years and no major violations in the last five years). A motor vehicle driving record check will be conducted for the final candidate.
