Conceptualize and create marketing design solutions for use in a variety of print and digital media such as magazines, brochures, flyers and shipboard collateral. Responsible for collaborating with design team and creative managers on all projects to ensure brand consistency and alignment. The graphic designer position lives within the company’s Creative Services team, focusing on campaigns and deliverables to support the Marketing and Sales departments. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Concept and create cohesive advertising campaigns and related marketing collateral materials, such as graphic elements (logos/lockups), promotional flyers, print ads, direct mail, web banners and emails, tradeshow graphics, signage, brochures and PowerPoint presentations.
- Devise and pitch creative concepts that align with overall brand objectives, answer strategic needs of the initiative, and further the internal client’s business goals. Provide multiple creative options for each request.

- Ensure quality and accuracy of creative by adhering to quality assurance standards for personal review of work, as well as department protocol for internal work review.
- Revise creative as needed. Review final material for quality and accuracy and prep files for print and digital release.
- Stay current and knowledgeable of established brand guidelines and ensure all work is within guidelines or contributing to the evolution of the brand. Stay current on design trends in travel and service industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design/visual communications or similar field from an accredited four-year college or university or directly related, equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Graphic Designer role in a fast-paced, multi-project corporate or advertising agency environment.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment are essential.
- Able to multitask and work on numerous projects simultaneously
- Strong creative background and skills required across a diverse array of deliverables. Portfolio of work samples required, including print and real-world applications.

The Department of Integrative Biology (IB) at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of non-tenure track Lecturer positions to teach Integrative Biology courses and General Biology (BIO 1B) courses as need arises. Our department's emphasis is on organismal biology.
Teaching Responsibilities
We are seeking outstanding lecturers who can teach/co-teach small, medium, and large size lecture and/or laboratory courses in the broad subject areas listed below:

General Duties
In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, creating and grading quizzes and/or exams, managing and assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and using a learning management system (e.g., bCourses at UC Berkeley, Blackboard, Canvas, etc.). For courses with discussion or lab sections, duties may include supervision, training and coordination of Graduate Student Instructors (GSIs).
For General Biology (BIO 1B) Lab Courses: The laboratory class currently covers three major sections: Evolution, Ecology, and Plant Biology/Organismal Diversity. Exercises include investigations into population genetics, phylogenetic relationships, macroevolution, bioindicators, and structure and function of organisms. BIO 1B is a gateway course to the major field of Integrative Biology that consists of three one-hour lectures and one four-hour combined discussion and lab each week. Lecturers will be required to lead one discussion and lab per week, create assignments, grade assignments, attend a Friday instructional meeting, be familiar with lecture, proctor exams, hold office hours and complete other instructional duties as assigned. Senior lecturers mentor new hires and GSIs.

Preferred qualifications
Familiarity with a web-based learning management system (e.g., Canvas) for grading and classroom management is preferred, as well as experience teaching a college-level course in the biological sciences (for example, previously employed as a graduate student instructor, teaching assistant, lecturer, or similar).
For General Biology (BIO 1B): Experience working with computer-based phylogenetic programs and teaching a class similar to UC Berkeley's BIO 1B lab courses is preferred.
A Ph.D., M.D., (or equivalent international degree) in the biological sciences is preferred.

This role bridges pre-construction strategy with project execution, supporting estimating efforts while contributing to successful field delivery. The position plays a critical part in cost modeling, subcontractor procurement, budgeting, and early project planning, while partnering with the Project Manager during construction on scheduling, buyout, cost control, and project documentation.

Pre-construction & Estimating
- Assist in the preparation of conceptual, schematic, and GMP estimates

As a Senior Legal Counsel on NiCE’s Americas Legal team, you will support high‑value commercial and technology transactions that are central to NiCE’s customer experience business. The role is focused on enabling growth of NiCE’s CXone Mpower platform through the negotiation and structuring of complex technology, SaaS, and strategic partnership agreements. You will work closely with sales, product, finance, security, and privacy stakeholders to address issues at the intersection of cloud technology, data protection, and regulatory compliance, while providing practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
In addition to transactional responsibilities, you will contribute to the development of scalable contracting processes, legal playbooks, and operational improvements to support a rapidly growing and evolving business. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel for NiCE Americas, this hybrid role requires two days per week in the office and offers the opportunity to operate as a trusted legal advisor within a global, AI‑driven customer experience organization.

Responsibilities
- Lead Complex Transactions: Structure, negotiate, and manage sophisticated commercial and technology transactions across sales, product, and procurement, with a primary focus on enterprise cloud offerings.
- Provide Legal and Regulatory Guidance: Advise on U.S. and international legal issues related to SaaS, data protection, cybersecurity, and commercial contracting, delivering practical, risk‑balanced guidance to the business.
- Scale Legal Operations: Develop, maintain, and improve legal playbooks, templates, and contracting processes to increase efficiency and support a growing, fast‑moving organization.
- Partner Cross‑Functionally: Collaborate with legal colleagues and cross‑functional stakeholders globally to align legal strategies with business priorities and key initiatives.
- Anticipate Regulatory Change: Monitor and assess evolving laws and regulations affecting NiCE’s commercial activities and proactively advise on risk mitigation and compliance.
- Enable the Business: Educate and train internal teams on legal, compliance, and contracting best practices to support informed and efficient decision‑making.
- Build Trusted Relationships: Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
- Support Strategic Growth: Contribute to initiatives that advance NiCE’s global growth strategy and innovation agenda.
- Other Legal Matters: Support additional legal projects and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Education and Licensing: Juris Doctor with strong academic credentials and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- SaaS and Technology Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of legal experience, with substantial experience supporting SaaS, cloud computing, and enterprise software transactions primarily on the vendor side.
- Transactional Expertise: Demonstrated experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on complex SaaS and technology agreements, including Data Processing Agreements and, where applicable, Business Associate Agreements.
- Legal Acumen: Strong working knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property law, including familiarity with U.S. and international data protection regimes and evolving regulatory trends.
- In‑House Experience: Prior in‑house legal experience supporting a commercial or technology‑driven business environment.
Preferred Experience
- Public Company or Global Environment: Experience supporting a U.S. publicly traded company and/or a global, multinational organization.
- Operational Maturity: Proven ability to design, improve, and scale legal processes, templates, and playbooks in support of a growing business.
- AI and Emerging Technology Law: Familiarity with evolving artificial intelligence and automated decision‑making laws and regulations in the United States and internationally, including emerging global frameworks such as the EU AI Act.
