Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams responsible for the development, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the production system. Elements include but are not limited to: process engineering, manufacturing support, build plan development and oversight, technical management of suppliers, and introducing new technology.

  • Lead special projects supporting key company priorities. Projects may include but are not limited to: stabilize and improve efficiency of the production system, enable rate increases on our production lines, and manage incorporation of product and process changes into the production system.

  • Oversee technical management of suppliers in the design, sourcing, and implementation of new or improve build processes throughout the production system value stream.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports. Leverage network to seek broad input on key projects and initiatives.

  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees to achieve their best both individually and as a team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • 3+ years of experience in a professional engineering role
     

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in a production environment

  • 3 + years of experience with production systems design

  • Experience leading or managing teams

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with build plan development and deployment

Job Summary

The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, seeks applications for a research-focused Postdoctoral Fellow in Information Technology Management (ITM). The initial appointment is for one year and may be renewed for up to two years, depending on satisfactory performance. The postdoc can begin as soon as January 2026 or as late as August 2026 we are happy to accommodate the timeline that works best for the selected candidate.

The role involves close collaboration with the ITM area faculty on mutually selected research projects. Two preferred areas of focus for our group are:

Studying the application of LLMs in online multisided platforms, such as the design and optimization of LLM-powered advertising mechanisms, and strategic interaction between platform participants. We are particularly interested in how LLMs influence user engagement, attention allocation, and economic outcomes on digital platforms, including auction-based advertising markets and dynamic information environments.

Developing economic frameworks for data valuation and privacy in business applications, including topics such as federated learning, copyright-preserving generative models, data marketplace pricing, and incentive-compatible privacy mechanisms. This line of research aims to connect information economics, machine learning algorithms, and market design, to address practical concerns in decentralized data governance, trustworthy machine learning, and platform strategy.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include :

  • Work on high-impact research projects, from conceptualization, data collection, and data analysis to manuscript preparation and publication.
  • Teach one 3-credit course each year.
  • Perform related services based on the needs of the ITM area


Required Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in information systems, economics, management science, computer science, statistics, operations, or other related quantitative and/or social science domains
  • The degree must completed by the position start date. For example, ABD (All but dissertation) candidates must have successfully defended their dissertation no later than July 1, 2026 for an August 1, 2026 start date.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in machine learning, generative models and LLM.
  • Knowledge in data privacy technologies, including but not limited to federated learning, differential privacy, copyright preserving technologies in generative models.
  • Knowledge in microeconomic theory, including but not limited to mechanism design, auction theory, game theory
  • Prior teaching experience

Department Summary:
Risk & Safety Services is the functional unit that supports safety, environmental management, emergency management, risk management and regulatory compliance for UC ANR. Key Responsibilities:

Under direct supervision, reviews and maintains criminal offender record information for ANR and all UCCE's across the state. Maintain access to and monitor Department of Justice (DOJ) systems to receive criminal record information for new and existing employees and volunteers statewide.
Utilize University and ANR policies and guidelines to assess criminal record information and perform investigative searches to verify identity of applicants and provide clearance results to County Directors or Human Resources. Learn to analyze basic risk control programs to prevent losses and reduce premiums. Learn to implement and monitor basic control strategies and programs. Assist with administration of the Be Smart About Safety risk reduction program. Assist with documentation of
risk assessments of various ANR programs and activities.

Under direct supervision, review and report information about the license status for ANR employee drivers. Coordinate with ERM Analyst to utilize web-based tools to enroll drivers into the EPN system. Track status of driver violations and notify ERM Analyst 3 and 4 of adverse reports that may require action. As directed, verify that corrective actions are taken, when required. Coordinate with other ANR units to ensure that employee driver lists are up to date. Support Vehicle Collision Review Committee. The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) KC-46 Tanker Program is seeking a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer to perform change integration functions for new and derivative products and provide technical support in Configuration Status Accounting tasks such as As-Built to As-Design reconciliation. The KC-46 is a high-visibility, leading-edge Commercial Derivative airplane program to support the United States Air Force and International Customers.  As a Product Lifecycle Management Engineer, you will use Program Management Best Practices to oversee the definition and integration of configuration and data management tasks that span multiple engineering functions and airplane level engineering projects and processes as the KC-46 program transitions from Development into Production phases. Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates/Leads the development, analysis, management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products
  • Defines, plans, coordinates and conducts (or leads) product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.

Position Summary

Performs a variety of technical work in the day-to-day operation of the Public Works Asset Management and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Programs. Provide support and training to end users as assigned. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.

Essential Duties

Modifies and maintains CMMS data to support asset data analysis. Works independently with vendors, and Public Works supervisors to assist in program development by gathering information for assets and other new and old data and information needed to allow the asset data system to function effectively; creates new codes for the above areas mentioned and when necessary modifies asset characteristics and descriptions.

Provides daily user support including routine troubleshooting and system and data maintenance for asset data analysis, working closely with Information Technology and GIS to evaluate responsibility for addressing specific requests. Ensures the integration of CMMS with other systems and relevant databases.

Assists with the establishment and maintenance of user profiles within the CMMS, e.g. security settings and access controls for each program user.

Assists with establishing equipment records; associates the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations with the equipment records. Defines, compiles, and incorporates maintenance activities in the CMMS system. Provides guidance and support to end users in the operation, use and capabilities of the CMMS.

Coordinates with Public Works program supervisors to efficiently and accurately enter data into the system. Collects and enters asset data into the CMMS and related databases from various sources including direct field investigation; documents such as as-built drawings, invoices, and O&M manuals.

Generates standard and ad-hoc reports using the standard report structure of the asset data system, and other end user reporting tools. Fulfills requests for reports and information; works with end users to understand business processes and report requirements for assigned projects.

Performs quality control checks of asset data to ensure the accuracy of all data within the system.

Provides input to the division supervisor on system needs, the performance of asset data software and hardware, and improvements to the asset data analysis system.

Provides in-house training programs and manuals for asset management, CMMS, GIS, and other relevant software applications.

Maintains professional networks and attends training sessions and conferences as necessary to advance skills and keep abreast of issues and practices in all areas of responsibility.

Researches and makes recommendations on Asset Management and CMMS needs; monitors the performance of asset data software and hardware and recommends improvements. Assists with CMMS hardware and software upgrades for the asset data analysis system. Ensures the implementation of processes and practices are in support of asset management best practices and are synchronized with GIS. Assists with hardware and software upgrades for the asset data analysis system.

Serves as a member of various City committees as assigned. Assists other staff in the performance of their duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent required. Four years of related experience, training and/or education in Information Technology, Asset Management or GIS with three of those years in database development and project management in an increasingly responsible capacity.

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, including major coursework in computer science and engineering and significant coursework in database system management. Two years of increasingly responsible related experience in database development and project management.

Related experience includes significant responsibility collecting, entering and verifying data, supporting users, analyzing workflows and data, and reporting.

Prior experience and/or education in the maintenance and use of Asset Management/CMMS/GIS systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

General knowledge of the principles, theories and methods of database concepts, structures, and programming logic; and the various types, classes, uses, and interrelationships of assets. Knowledge of asset management within a typical municipal Public Works department preferred.

CMMS and GIS software skills are preferred, including creating, editing and reporting on assets, using built-in functions or query languages (e.g. SQL).

Ability to develop procedures and to provide end user training.

Effective communication, analytical, customer service, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Ability to get along well with co-workers and maintain working relationships; ability to promote a culture of teamwork and communication.

Ability to use a computer to perform essential functions of the position. High level of proficiency using an office productivity software suite and related applications.

Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.

Director of Emergency Management and Business Continuity

Description:

The Director of Emergency Management and Business Continuity satisfies a Joint Commission required position that will oversee the Emergency Management (EM) Department and the Business Continuity (BC) Program for the Hospital System.

This role serves as a subject matter expert to the Tarrant County Hospital District (TCHD) staff during mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery phases of an event.

Knowledgeable in all administrative aspects of running a Hospital Emergency Management Program for the TCHD and has overall responsibility for coordination, strategic planning, regulatory compliance and budget development for Emergency Management and Business Continuity.

Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with Executive Leadership, Medical and Hospital Directors and staff to provide the overall coordination of EM and BC strategic planning and maintain regulatory compliance.

Expected to oversee the annual completion of a district-wide hazardous vulnerability analysis and the development, implementation and administrative maintenance of the hospital’s Emergency Operations Plan.

Directs the Business Continuity Planning efforts throughout the network to minimize downtime of critical resources by conducting a Business Impact Analysis of internal and external hazards and working with targeted clinical/ business unit stakeholders to facilitate the creation and management of mitigation plans based on those hazards.

Monitors all business continuity software systems functionality, account creations, training and technical support.


Typical Duties:

  • Administers the TCHD Emergency Management Programs in accordance with standards set forth by The Joint Commission (TJC), Life Safety Code, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and facilitates the functions of the Emergency Management Programs.
  • Oversees Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) federal grant funds.
  • Works with community partners to identify and analyze community hazards that may interrupt operations.
  • Prepares department operating budget on an annual basis and monitors areas of responsibility for compliance within current budget.
  • Represents the Health Network in local, state, regional and national programs and meetings related to hazard vulnerability analysis, preparedness funding, program development, and mitigation, response, and recovery actions, including development of exercises with community partners.
  • Coordinates the Emergency Management Committee and collaborates with other team members to develop and implement a District-wide Emergency Operations Plan.
  • Oversight of disaster exercises and drills as required by TJC, Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and OSHA.
  • Anticipates hospital system needs, defines and coordinates utilization of Hospital Command Center (HCC).
  • Ensures subordinate staff maintain responsibilities specific to job and other operational issues that impact preparedness and safety.
  • Communicates departmental needs to the Nursing Executive and maintains a positive working relationship with internal and external partners.
  • Identifies, designs, and manages the educational needs of district employees related to the Emergency Management and Business Continuity Programs as needed.
  • Identifies and analyzes the design of jobs, work processes and suggest or implements appropriate changes to improve work effectiveness, productivity and efficiency that support the overall goals of the Hospital and the department.
  • Prepares and administers departmental performance evaluations.
  • Serves as the Point of Contact for the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Emergency Management, or related field from an accredited University is required.
  • 5 plus years of Management level (or higher) experience in a hospital Emergency Management/ Business Continuity role is required.


Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:

  • Formalized Certification in Emergency Management (AEM, CEM, CHEP, etc.) is required at hire.
  • National Incident Management System IS 100, 200, 700, 800 training is required within 30 days of hire.
  • Training in Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) must be obtained within one year.
  • Valid state of Texas driver’s license is required at hire.


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Formalized Business Continuity Certification (ABCP, CBCP, CBCI, MBCP, etc.) preferred
  • Manager (or higher) level experience developing emergency preparedness training and computer-based learning modules is preferred.
  • Trainer level experience in Hospital Emergency Response (HazMat Response), Mass Casualty Incidents and Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) is preferred.
  • Experience with the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council is preferred.
  • Regulatory survey experience is preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY:


The Director, Hospitality Asset Management for District Wharf Properties (DWP) is responsible for the strategic oversight, financial performance, and operational excellence of the hotel portfolio within The District Wharf ("The Wharf"), a 3.3M SF mixed-use development located along the Potomac River in Southwest D.C.


This individual will be responsible for maximizing asset profitability and long-term valuation for a portfolio of four upscale, upper-upscale, and luxury hotels. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Investment Management, the Director will serve as the primary Owner’s Representative, ensuring that third-party operators align with DWP’s high standards for guest experience, bottom-line performance, and the integrated programming of uses across the neighborhood.


This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee a premier hotel portfolio while broadening your investment expertise across a world-class mixed-use platform. DWP is committed to professional growth, providing the Director with direct exposure to and the opportunity to master other asset classes including retail, office, multifamily, garage and marina operations.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Financial and Operational Performance

·      Drive top-line revenue and GOP growth across the hotel portfolio by partnering closely with operating teams and senior leadership to create & execute business plans.

·      Analyze weekly and monthly financial results, identify performance variances, and collaborate with operators to execute corrective action plans.

·      Critically evaluate Food and Beverage operations, to maximize flow-through, concept viability, and non-rooms revenue.

·      Analyze and interpret STR (Smith Travel Research) reports and other Business Intelligence data provided by management companies to monitor competitive set positioning, market share, and RevPAR penetration.


Strategy and Capital Management

·      Serve as the hospitality subject matter expert by tracking local supply pipelines, macroeconomic trends, and legislative changes affecting the DC tourism market.

·      Produce monthly and quarterly performance reporting for Senior Leadership and the Board, providing clear narratives on portfolio health and strategic initiatives.

·      Strategically lead the annual operating budget and multi-year capital planning process, prioritizing ROI opportunities that drive bottom-line growth and property valuation.

·      Orchestrate the Property Improvement Plan (PIP) process and large-scale refurbishments to ensure brand alignment while seeking ways to enhance competitive positioning and minimize revenue displacement during construction.

·      Support underwriting and due diligence for potential transactions and assist in debt-compliance reporting and future financing activities.

·      Conduct ad hoc reporting and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making, ownership requests, and market-specific deep dives.


Relationship and Stakeholder Management

·      Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party management companies and global brands, holding partners accountable for labor efficiency and guest satisfaction.

·      Lead or assist in the negotiation of management agreements, franchise agreements, and vendor contracts.

·      Work alongside DWP’s retail and office teams to ensure the hotel portfolio contributes to and benefits from the wider Wharf ecosystem by maximizing value through the strategic programming of shared spaces and amenities.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

·      Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in hotel asset management, acquisitions, development, or operations. Experience with luxury or upper-upscale brands is highly preferred.

·      Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or professional certification is a plus.

·      Comprehensive understanding of hospitality-specific metrics and concepts (e.g., RevPAR, Segmentation, GOP, and EBITDA).

·      Mastery of financial modeling and investment analysis, including DCF, IRR, and NPV.

·      Experience in capital markets work, including a solid understanding of debt and equity structures, financing execution, etc.

·      Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to ownership.

·      Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Argus Enterprise experience a plus

·      Proven ability to lead third-party operators and influence senior-level stakeholders.

·      Understanding of REIT & TRS structures

 COMPENSATION:


Salary Range: $150,000 – $160,000 per year


Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an annual target bonus of 25% based on individual and portfolio performance.
