Radiology Physician Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine
  • Board eligible or board certified in Radiology
  • Active Kentucky physician license
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Radiology fellowship preferred
  • Ability to complete hospital credentialing within 30 days

Radiology Physician Responsibilities

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies and deliver accurate, timely reports
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Participate in department meetings and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulatory standards
  • Provide consultative support for nuclear medicine procedures
