PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate any/all of the following: Manual Lathe, Manual Mill, NC Lathe, NC Mill, Machine Cells, Fork Truck, Stand Up Truck, hand tools, or other miscellaneous equipment required by the manufacturing process.
  • Execute operational details from drawings, routing sheets, set up sheets, CNC programs, and standard work instructions.
  • Check the condition of tooling/performance for best results.
  • Follow the documented safety guidelines and procedures.

Job Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
  • Properly select, align and secure work holding. Must be able to improvise setups using common tooling such as risers, angle plates etc.
  • Monitor and/or develop speed, feed, depth or angle of cut during machining operations.
  • Must observe machine operation to predict or detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining conditions and adjust machine controls /control media as required.
  • Verify that all machined details meet print and router specifications, using precision measuring instruments and recording data results. Responsible to ensure first piece inspection is completed for multiple piece runs.
  • Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machine and work area on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of trade school, vocational education or apprenticeship
  • A minimum of three to five years of CNC machining experience
  • General machining knowledge, shop math, precision measuring instruments, blueprint reading and GD&T
  • Part and tool probing
  • Experience with high speed machining preferred (16 - 27k RPM)

Supplemental Information

Salary: The advertised salary is based on full-time employment and includes shortage and school year differentials, if applicable.

Requirements: Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the date of the application, unless otherwise specified. What you will be doing

As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring building equipment for safety purposes and repairs. Troubleshooting refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical problems, performing repairs, documenting solutions, and making recommendations for further action.


Main Responsibilities

  • Must be willing to work overtime on weekends, holidays, and after-hours when on call
  • Make daily mechanical checks on equipment in the Mechanical Room, Roof, HVAC, EMS systems, refrigerated cases, and walk-ins. etc.
  • Maintain all refrigeration, HVAC, EMS systems, electrical, and mechanical systems, and make necessary repairs.
  • Performs preventative maintenance tasks, leak checks, inspections, and new equipment installations. Willrecord required information and maintain compliance forms and all other documentation in both paper form at the store and electronic in Corrigo and Refrigerant tracking System, based on the specific task.
  • Monitors preventive maintenance and construction project work done by outside contractors and notifies Area Refrigeration Manager of issues or problems with outside contractors.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical problems, performing repairs, documenting solutions, and recommending further action.
  • Maintains a high technical level in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Manage communications for service calls: Ensure timely responses as required.
  • Maintain current license, inspection, permit, and certificate requirements to meet all state and local codes.

General Description

The Aviation Department which operates the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and the North Perry Airport is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Risk Manager for the Risk Management section within the Administration Division. The Risk Manager will serve as the cornerstone of BCAD's risk management program, ensuring the airport is protected from liability by evaluating risk exposures, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts, and establishing and enforcing insurance requirements and renewals for all vendors and third parties. It provides critical oversight of procurement activities, analyzes bid documents, and safeguards compliance through the monitoring of Certificates of Insurance. The role also represents the airport's risk management interests in high-stakes meetings with airlines and key vendors, supports County departments with insurance guidance and trains staff across multiple divisions. With its blend of technical insurance expertise, legal interpretation, contact analysis, and staff leadership, this position is integral to minimizing financial exposure and maintaining continuity in BCAD operations. The employee will function as the Safety Management System Coordinator for Landside Operations in conjunction with the Operations Division. This position will supervise a loss and safety team on our construction sites and will ensure Occupational safety and health training and education program tracking.

Plans, develops, implements and maintenance of an airport Safety Management System (SMS), which includes - SMS anonymous reporting, tracking, investigation, and audits; facilitation of the safety risk management (SRM) process; conducting safety assurance meetings and inspections; and providing safety promotion initiatives and incentives; as well as Gap Analysis, Data Collection Review and Synthesis, Updates, Committee Meetings, Safety Assurance Evaluations, and SMS manual and related policies and procedures updates.

This position will work closely with the Operations Division and Maintenance Division regarding employee safety issues and the general risk and safety conditions of the airport. Walk job sites, review reports, and meet with contractors and PMs to resolve safety hazards and OSHA non-compliance. Another important function is to establish and maintain relationships across lines of business as well as with BCAD's partners, including but not limited to BSO, Concessions, Airlines, Ground Handlers, Fuel Farm, Fire and Rescue.

Manages insurance renewals for BCAD and vendor insurance review; mediate claims between attorneys, claimants, and insurance companies; investigate backup for claims and secure additional documentation as needed; liability and subrogation claims. public records request process and review of video requests.

Reviews Loss Control and collaborates with all BCAD divisions and various partners to ensure risk is reduced.

Training and educating expanding community (700+) BCAD employees on compliance and safety standards.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business or public administration, risk management, construction project management, occupational safety, or closely related field

One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.)


Requires three (3) years of experience in an administrative capacity reviewing and evaluating safety programs, conducting worksite safety evaluations for loss prevention, performing risk management analysis and claims oversight and review.

SCOPE OF WORK

Oversee the safety program's continued growth implementation review. To be the liaison with all departments for safety. Will also be responsible for reviewing and categorizing incoming issues through maximo (NON 139 SMS items).

Implements and maintains automated Certificate of Insurance (COI) tracking system. Trains other Departments on utilization of the COI tracking system. Performs audits on certificates of insurance to determine compliance with insurance requirements.

Coordinates with Emergency Services and Communications, local, state and federal officials regarding FEMA guidelines and regulations.

Maintain information on BCAD's insurance policy and support the renewal process yearly. Oversee the implementation of the new software (CTrax), when up and running, which is meant to track certificates of insurance and contractors.

Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Milk Receiver based in Casa Grande, Arizona.


The Milk Receiver is responsible for the unloading of milk from tanker trucks, pumping incoming raw milk or cream from tanker trucks into storage tanks, documenting, and recording volume into inventory, and washing and sanitizing silos and receiving lines. The selected candidate must have the capability to work from HMI screens, working in high places, and excellent interpersonal skills.


Full-time opportunity. This is a 12-hour shift (06:00 AM to 06:30 PM) on a 2 - 2 - 3 rotation. Starting at $20.90 per hour, depending on knowledge skill, and experience. Shift differentials for 2nd shift (10%) and 3rd shift (15%.)

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Sanitizes all unloading equipment prior to use.
  • Check security seals on tankers and verify against manifest.
  • Check all incoming tanker loads for order, temperature, taste, and any other factors as indicated.
  • Collect samples of incoming product, using defined procedures, and take to laboratory for analysis.
  • Operate all computer-controlled product transfer equipment to transfer incoming product from tanker trucks to the appropriate receiving holding tanks. Monitor equipment regularly to ensure proper operation and product integrity.
  • Monitor all tanks, clamps, and values at start-up and during transfer process.
  • Document product loss and report promptly to Processing Management.
  • Routinely check for malfunctions and proper sanitation. Take appropriate action as necessary.
  • Report any non-routine repair tasks immediately to Maintenance Management.
  • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and all required work safety practices.
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing setting required. Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge

  • Fluency in English; speak, read, and write.
  • Able to read and interpret receiving documents.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to work in a wet environment with variable temperatures.
  • Must be flexible and willing to meet the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain Arizona State Lab Sample Testing Certification and Arizona State Sample Pulling Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Regularly required to stand, use hands, stretch, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Required to climb, work in high places, and balance. Using a safety harness when required to climb to high restricted places.
