Job Title: Supervisor, Fleet Operations
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient fleet of vehicles to support the business. The incumbent ensures proper use and care of physical assets, helps to prevent equipment failures, controls costs, manages external vendor relationships, works closely with auto mechanics and internal customers. This role supervises administrative personnel within the department. A primary responsibility of this position is to monitor fleet vehicle equipment maintenance, invoicing, record retention. To do this, the incumbent uses current Fleet Automotive software, preventative maintenance techniques, reviews the results, monitors repairs, and performs vehicle audits to ensure mechanics adhere to safety, regulatory and appearance standards. This position analyzes equipment or vehicle system failures to determine root causes, resolve problems and plans/coordinates equipment repairs with internal/external groups (e.g., drivers, vendors). Another major area of responsibility is to maintain automotive cost effectiveness. Duties include reviewing equipment failures and component replacements to identify trends. This role also supports automotive safety and regulatory compliance by conducting facility audits, following up on issues, and coordinating safety/regulatory training. Vendor related duties include verifying external-vendor repairs, preparing repair orders/estimates and reviewing Fleet system reports for anomalies.
Job Responsibilities:
* Ensures adequate inventory levels (e.g., parts, tires, etc.) to support business processes.
* Works with other groups to prevent, identify and resolve equipment/service problems.
* Adheres to purchasing limits, expense approval procedures, and equipment disposal guidelines to remain within cost plan.
* Reviews and approves automotive expenses.
* Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Act as the liaison between carrier operations management and RXO associates, and partner with all functions of the business
- Lead mode-specific teams of procurement managers, including setting performance targets and continuously providing feedback regarding actual performance in comparison to targets
- Own all procurement-related activities for specific modes across multiple accounts
- Help set strategy around mode buying and leveraging; develop key initiatives, best practices, and processes within the team
- Support the growth of new customers and the expansion of existing customers
- Collaborate with Customer and Account Management teams to create solutions that meet service and cost levels
- Determine carrier rates and KPI's; analyze rates and make decisions on awards while remaining compliant with the overall sourcing strategy
- Analyze all lanes and rates to ensure equity
- Recommend cost-saving strategies that are beneficial to our customers as well as equitable to the carriers
- Negotiate volume discounts with carriers where applicable
- Prepare bids and quotes on single and project shipments for domestic/international business; analyze job costs to ensure bids and quotes provide desirable profit margins
What you'll need to excel:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- 4 years of experience in the transportation / logistics industry
It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 5 years of experience in carrier procurement with an emphasis on carrier rate negotiations
- In-depth knowledge of carrier operations, including, FTL and LTL

- Mechanical (layout) inspection for 1st piece, final and receiving inspection
- Maintain and complete all required Quality Control documentation

We are looking for a hands-on Purchasing Manager to take full ownership of procurement across both TCI Precision Metals and E-Z LOK. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Owner/President. You will split your time between both facilities—primarily based at TCI in Gardena with approximately one day per week at the E-Z LOK facility in Los Alamitos. You will be responsible for strategic sourcing, day-to-day purchasing, inventory optimization, supplier management, and cost reduction for both operations. The right person combines sharp negotiation skills with deep knowledge of metals and manufactured components supply chains, and is comfortable working across two distinct product lines and ERP environments. This is a high-impact role with real visibility—your decisions will directly affect margins, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency across the entire organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mills, metal distributors, and component suppliers across both TCI and E-Z LOK product lines
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness
• Research, identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors for raw materials, threaded insert components, packaging, and other supplies
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, freight terms, and consignment or exclusivity arrangements
• Develop backup sourcing and disaster recovery strategies to ensure supply continuity for both divisions
• Oversee daily purchasing of raw materials, MRO items, packaging, and other supplies for both TCI and E-Z LOK
• Review and approve purchase orders within established dollar limits
• Manage freight purchasing and freight claims

The Assistant Traffic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and/or dispatching non-ferrous truck shipments, negotiating freight rates with carriers, and insuring on-time pick-up and delivery of product between facilities and broker accounts.
- Monitors, analyzes and negotiates freight rates with existing contract carriers, manages carrier to achieve most cost-effective utilization.
- Reviews established origin/destination points and negotiates rates with new and existing carriers to increase carrier base and reduce freight costs
- Expedites transportation solutions by trouble-shooting immediately when problems arise
- Contacts facility representative and broker account to determine when product is available to ship; notifies carriers of pick up and/or delivery schedule

- Acts as back up for other traffic coordinators handling trucks

Requirements:
- At least 2-3 years experience in the traffic/transportation industry
- Must be highly detail- oriented

Virginia Transformer is seeking a results-oriented Sr. Manager/Director of Inbound Logistics to lead global transportation operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective inbound delivery of materials and components to support production schedules across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inbound transportation strategy across ocean, air, and freight forwarding channels.

We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain to own and lead all aspects of our supply chain function, with end-to-end responsibility for purchasing and logistics. This role is accountable for ensuring the right products are sourced, moved, and delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and reliably to support business growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Ownership
- Own the end-to-end supply chain strategy, execution, and performance
- Design and continuously improve supply chain processes to support scale, margin, and service levels
- Establish and track KPIs across purchasing, logistics, inventory, and supplier performance
Purchasing & Vendor Management
- Lead all purchasing activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management
- Build strong supplier relationships while driving cost savings, quality, and reliability
- Develop sourcing strategies to mitigate risk and improve resilience
Logistics & Distribution
- Own inbound and outbound logistics, including freight, warehousing, and distribution partners
- Optimize transportation modes, routes, and carriers to balance cost, speed, and service
- Ensure on-time delivery performance and proactive issue resolution
Inventory & Planning
- Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment strategies
- Balance inventory availability with working capital and carrying cost targets
- Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align supply with demand
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Product teams
- Serve as the primary supply chain voice in leadership discussions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, and/or purchasing
- Proven experience owning both logistics and procurement functions
- Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated cost savings and supplier optimization
- Experience scaling supply chain operations in a growing organization
- Deep understanding of inventory management, freight, and vendor management
- Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (MBA a plus)

Position Overview
A global project logistics and international freight forwarding organisation is seeking an experienced Air & Ocean Import & Export Coordinator to manage end-to-end international shipments across complex, time-critical, and high-value cargo movements.
This role sits within a fast-paced, solution-driven operations environment focused on precision planning, seamless execution, and customer-specific logistics solutions across air freight, ocean freight, and multimodal transport.
The successful candidate will coordinate global import and export movements, ensure regulatory compliance, manage carrier relationships, and deliver operational excellence across commercial and project-based cargo.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-end coordination of international air and ocean import and export shipments
- Execution of multimodal transport solutions including door-to-door movements
- Booking with airlines, ocean carriers, trucking providers, and specialist vendors
- Preparation and review of shipping documentation including HBL, MBL, commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings, and customs documentation
- Active communication with customers, overseas agents, and internal operations teams
- Rate management, cost control, and shipment profitability monitoring
- Tracking, milestone reporting, and proactive exception management
- Compliance with U.S. customs regulations, international trade requirements, and internal quality standards
- Support of complex cargo movements including oversized, project, and time-critical freight when required
Required Experience & Profile
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in air and ocean freight forwarding operations
- Strong knowledge of import and export processes across international trade lanes
- Hands-on experience with carrier bookings, documentation, and shipment execution
- Understanding of Incoterms, customs clearance processes, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a high-volume environment
- Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills
- Commercial awareness around costs, margins, and service delivery
- Experience within project logistics, heavy cargo, or complex freight environments is strongly preferred.
