Position Overview

The Baker position plays a key role in supporting daily pastry production for Revolution Roasters, crafting high-quality baked goods and seasonal offerings for multiple cafe locations. This position calls for precision, consistency, and creativity to help sustain the quality of our highly respected pastry program.


As part of our talented pastry team, the Baker contributes to a collaborative kitchen environment alongside our commissary and kitchen teams to create an amazing scratch made experience for our guests. The Baker will assist in creating everything from laminated doughs to seasonal garnishes, hands on at every step of our pastry process. Core Responsibilities


Production & Quality

• Execute daily production of pastries, laminated doughs, cookies, cakes, and seasonal items according

to recipes and standards

FUNCTION:



In an assigned area or cell, under general supervision perform complex polishing and finishing operations of exacting tolerance on production or overhaul and repair parts. Parts are typically at or near final stages of the manufacturing process, with tight tolerance limits, requiring intense period of concentration for extended periods of time.



TYPICAL DUTIES:




  • Work from drawings, sketches, computer-generated information and verbal instructions to plan the polishing, finishing or re-work operation to be performed.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform advanced inspections on high-mix, tight-tolerance machined parts using both manual gaging and programmable inspection equipment
  • Program and operate CMMs using PC-DMIS software (required)
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T to verify conformance
  • Take ownership of inspection quality by identifying issues early and ensuring accurate disposition
  • Document inspection results clearly and accurately using required forms and systems
  • Support deviation, nonconformance, and corrective action processes as required
  • Follow established procedures, work instructions, standards, and customer-specific requirements
  • Act as a technical resource through experience, judgment, and reliability.

Required Skills and Experience:




  • 7+ years of Quality Control experience in precision machining
  • Proven experience programming and operating CMMs using PC-DMIS software (required)
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • High proficiency with precision measurement tools, including comparators, microhites, micrometers, indicators, and similar equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, make sound inspection decisions, and follow through
  • Strong attention to detail with consistent, accurate documentation practices
  • Strong ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Aerospace industry experience a plus

  • Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100 (preferred).

Your Challenge:
Quality Control & Inspection


  • Interprets purchase orders, work instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure accurate inspection

  • Performs inspections of materials, components, and finished products using standard measuring equipment at various stages of the production process

  • Provide detailed in-process inspections on components, using detailed drawings, CAD models, and established processes to verify conformance to design requirements.

  • Routinely observe technical operations and offer guidance and/or serve as an additional technical resource

  • Uses calibrated measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, microscopes, calipers, height gauges) to verify part conformity to specifications

  • Created and reviews First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) IAW AS9102

  • Identify, document, and resolve production and test anomalies in accordance with specifications, procedures and drive corrective action as required

  • Complete inspection reports and MES/SAP transactions

  • Ensure inspection devices are properly calibrated and maintained

  • Validate compliance to inspection protocols and quality procedures

  • Provides 2nd shift quality turnover status reports


Nonconformance & Corrective Action Management


  • Generate Non-Conformance reports in SAP for discrepancies found during operations with accurate defect descriptions

  • Work with, Engineers, and other personnel to assist in CAPA/RCCA to increase product improvement and lower QMS defects

  • Support 2nd shift team members drive customer satisfaction through ensuring the consistent and repeatable on-time delivery of conforming finished goods per customer requirements

  • Communicate and help resolve non-conforming quality related issues to the 2nd shift team

  • Process non-conforming products and assist engineering in root cause analysis and corrective action


What you Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience within Aerospace and Defense

  • Experience performing visual inspection on different commodities including CCA's, PCB's, machined parts, Cables/Harnesses, electronic assemblies and component parts.

  • Experience with electronic assemblies and interconnect systems

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering design drawings

  • Experience performing detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools

  • Experience in using calibrated precision measurement tools

  • Experience in working in an AS9100 quality system

  • Experience in inspecting crimping, solder, conformal coating, staking and surface mount components

January AI is seeking a strategic, visionary, and execution-driven Vice President of Product to lead our product organization during a period of rapid growth and innovation.
