The Role: Make an Impact
The Supply Chain Overages, Shorts, and Damages (OS&D) Intern will review all business OS&D and compliance incidents, manage documentation required for logistics claims and deduction refutations, and determine root causes in a timely manner. The role will include data validation, tracking, reporting, and communication. Additionally, this role will collaborate with teams across Supply Chain, Finance, and Trade to align duties with the company's goals and values. The Supply Chain OS&D Intern will report to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operational Excellence.

- Review OS&D incidents and customer compliance charges; log them accurately in tracking systems.
- Provide proper documentation to the business logistics team for claim management with carriers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Serve as the supply chain point of contact with the business logistics team to acquire proof of delivery as needed.
- Review and analyze customer deductions related to supply chain and logistics requirements; provide documentation to the Finance and Sales teams for invalid deductions.

As a Consumer Relations Manager, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to leading the company's strategy and operations related to consumer feedback, complaints, inquiries and product experience insights. Oversight of the Lactalis USA Consumer Relations Contact Centers operations providing excellent consumer service and care. The CR Manager plans, implements and maintains operational standards and systems, performance objectives, budgets, and staffing. He/She is responsible for resolving consumer issues while representing the interests of both the consumer and the Lactalis USA divisions. Capturing and providing quality and actionable consumer complaint data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
The role includes implementation of Lactalis Group procedures . Additionally, the Consumer Relations Manager will collaborate with Industrial, Quality, Legal and Regulatory, Marketing and R&D to align duties with the company's goals and values.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
Call Center Operations
- Review company policies and implement them effectively and efficiently
- Develop and implement consumer service policies and procedures
- Establish and oversee the achievement of consumer service levels/functional KPIs
- Evaluate current CR tools, resources and system in place, prepare and implement a plan for improvement of the consumer call center service quality and efficiency
- Liaise with company management to support and implement growth strategies
- Lead consumer call center integration projects within the parent company network
- Coordinate and manage consumer service projects and initiatives (e.g. satisfaction surveys)
- Develop and manage budget and department expenses
- Manage CR database and other CR tools (e.g. live chat and phone system). Work with external vendors and IS/IT to resolve system issues

- Monitor accuracy of the CR database and of consumer feedback reports

This 2nd shift position will support and oversee the work of the Sanitation Team by actively participating on the floor. Candidate must have strong attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication skills, written and verbal, personal qualities of tact and dependability, possess good manual dexterity, vision abilities (close, distance color and ability to focus), able to carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally, be able to stand for entire shift, be able to perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching) and must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends are required). 1. Tests all raw materials, in-process/byproducts, and finished products specific to Sample Analysis Reference Table
2. Performs tests and provides results in a timely manner
3. Report out of specification results to Laboratory Supervisor, the Quality Control Office, and Production Supervision when appropriate
4. Record test results on appropriate form, in computer database, or in logbook
5. Checks samples that yield out of specification results and record appropriately
6. Work closely with the production and laboratory staff
7. Maintains a clean and orderly working environment
8. Maintains State Regulatory Logs as needed
9. Aware of and practice Plant's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as well as Good Sanitation Practices (GSP)
10. Obtains all appropriate machine certification from New York State within six months of employment
11. Upholds all rules pertaining to confidentiality of information regarding Sorrento products and recipes
12. Performs other work duties as requested by the Laboratory Supervisor
13. Attends departmental meetings and in-services as required
14. Performs all duties according to safety standards and as required to ensure the general safety of all other staff

This includes, but is not limited to, production/packaging areas and related equipment, warehouse areas, office areas, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Familiar with the manufacturing operation, equipment and support systems of the company and will set up
systems to respond to maintenance concerns regarding them.
2. Cooperate with other management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
3. Reviews technical problems and procedures of departments and recommends solutions to problems or changes in procedures.
4. Responsible for setting up and managing systems for preventative maintenance for the manufacturing
operation.
5. Recruits and develops staff to provide the necessary skills to support the maintenance responsibilities for
the plant.
6. Continues to access skill levels and recommends developmental activities as appropriate.
7. Assesses systems for re-engineering or troubleshooting at both hands-on levels and engineering levels.
8. Participates actively as a member of plant management team. Provides necessary support for the other plant functions/activities as determined by the Assistant Maintenance Manager.
9. Continually evaluates the capabilities of the packaging & production Maintenance department relating to equipment, tools and other items necessary to provide a satisfactory level of service to the plant.
10. Recommend upgrades as appropriate.
11. Exercises project management responsibilities including coordination of contractor activities, communication to/among participants, budgeting and reporting if project has been delegated to them.
12. Continually analyzes spending with the Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer. Ensure proper documentation is provided for justification.
13. Promotes employee relations within the department.
14. Proactively communicates and responds to employee questions and concerns.
15. Develop a variety of systems and methods to measure effectiveness of effort.
16. Continuously seeks new ways of improving performance and controlling costs.

* Safe operation of the Brine dip, and ultrafiltration (UF) system.
* Start up, shut down, clean in place, and troubleshoot equipment when appropriate.
* Load blocks of cheese into large racks.
* Perform core temperature sampling.
* Operate HMI and maintain all records/documents per policy.
* Take immediate corrective action for any product that does not meet quality or product specifications.
